No. It was a leg infraction.

Nope, all wrong, it was a blood clot in the leg which was misdiagnosed. Untill the doctors figured out what was wrong his muscle was dead. They should have taken off his leg, but house didn't allow it. He eventually had the clot removed, which nearly caused the pain to kill him, so he asked to be induced into a coma. When he fell asleep, Stacy had the doctors take off the dead muscle. There was a chance that there wouldn't be any pain, but, as we all know, his leg now always hurts.

But since house didn't want any surgery and Stacy ordered it anyway, the trust between them was destroyed and they broke up. That is also why house is so miserable, he loved and still loves her. Or so I suppose.
