Yes, you did a fine job on this song. However, I'm curious. By having the Gibson 160E, would it sound better than a Gibson J180 like I have? Does the guitar influence the song or could you have made the same performance on a Gibson Hummingbird? Haha...I'd love to hear your response my friend...
@vongibson1968 I personally believe that the guitar, the strings, even the acoustics of the room, among other aspects, come into play in determining how you´ll sound... but the most important factor is the way you play it. Keith Richards once said, "no matter what model I play, give me five minutes and I'll make 'em all sound the same", so your playing style can overcome any gear differences.
BTW the EJ160 is absolutely beautiful. My first acoustic and its like having a new girlfriend. I'll Be Back is a great selection to play...one of the more underrated beatles songs but one of my favorites.
@nyc776 I agree, this song is really special mainly because of its three distinct parts, something which is hard to find even in their whole catalogue
Awesome job! I gotta tell ya, your beatles videos were the inspiration for me to get the ej160 and learn these songs especially the John Lennon part. Great job keep it up!

@vongibson1968 maybe not much of a difference but the j160e is such a sweet guitar.I can see why John and George both owned them.

I always loved the accoustic sound on Beatles records. I guess the credit goes to Norm Smith and Geoff Emerick.
