I hope there will be a simple M16a2 variant. I owned both Inokatsu and Real Sword replicas, both brand make wonderful guns, really , the battle between those 2 will be harsh :D
It's been just over ten months since this video, and there is still no sign of any of these rifles. I held off on my next AEG purchase waiting for the Type 88 DMR......
That's probably the most realistic looking M4 AEG I've seen. The M4 GBBR doesn't sound too impressive; there are already a lot of M4 GBBRs based on the WA system. That being said, it would be interesting to put this up against a Inokatsu or even the KWA LM4.
them: you have it way wrong, systema is yes a very realistic company, the provide bolt catch functionality, the feel and look is realistic and it performs great, but it stops there. The systema charging handle isn't functional, it barely comes back. The realsword designed a whole new generation of an aeg, sorta taking systema design it has the trigger mechanism like gearbox that systema has, the gun features a full cycling bolt with a safe recoil meaning it won't damage parts less to say maybe
after owning marui, g&g, ksc, wa, we, ics, kwc, ktw and a real sword type 56-1... i honestly think real sword beats all of the brand above, it has the best packaging i've seen ever, comes with individual quality certificate with a table of the fps and muzzle energy. colour poster with dissembly instruction, manual that includes fuse details, 3 flash hiders for silencers/orange tip/standard, and steel tools.... not the mention the gun itself, stamped steel, real wood, it smelled like a real gun.
@papergonewrong Sorry, but no, I own the VFC vs Umarex gbb mp5, and have shot the real HK mp5. Real sword type-56 are made out of decommissioned chinese AKs, you can see that the outer barrel is actually rifled, this is basically a real gun stripped and milled to take airsoft internals.
I own the type 56-2 and its awesome. Its nice to have a gun that can tolerate my abuse, sure real sword guns are expensive but you really get what you pay for
@AlexPetersen1 Does the bolt catch even work on the Real Sword M4 AEG? I don't think so, this is why the two are in completely different categories aimed at completely different people. (as in: the bolt catch engages when the magazine is empty, currently the only AEGs which does this is Systema and the newest Tokyo Marui M4s)
Real Sword: Aimed at people who want top build quality and looks.
Systema: Aimed at people who want an AEG that functions as closely as possible to a real M4.
@AlexPetersen1 so little you know about systema then, if this gun will get systema out of the market, inokatsu would already done that, performance wise this gun will not out perform PTW, it would in term of realism, but systema will out perform a RS, I own both PTW and RS 56-2. PTW's trigger response and accuracy rapes RS hard.
@jonasldg you have to understand that RS is a business, they want to make money and they know that M4s and M16s are the most popular guns out there and making extremely high quality M4/M16s will really put them on the map of airsoft. Probably up there with KWA or VFC. I think this is an excellent move on there part, I personally am looking forward to that M16A4. If you don't want one then don't get one.

So, you noticed that the Forward assist works, but you didn´t notice that there is no standart gearbox behind the fake bolt...It´s supposed to be some kind of Electromagnetic gearbox.
Also, the "Sniper version" of the Type 97 is called the Type 88, and came out earlier then the assaultrifle.

Yeah kwa and real swords gbbr are going to be a very interesting comparison. The real sword though I think would be a Lil bit better cause of the externals and that the mags are going to hold a lot of gas. But....But kwa might put there ns2 system in there gbbr so that's where I'm torn between these companies. I'll probably pit my money into real sword.
I'm amazed with the AEG M16. You can place Real Steel parts and theres like a real bolt installed! I hope it has blow back function. I'm getting both AEG and GBBR RS M4A1 or M16.
what type of gearbox version does that m16 have? i doubt they could cram that awesome charging handle in with a V2 GB. dsince it uses a "real stock" does the battery go into the PEQ 15?
@NuheroX the AEG looks sweet, dont i dont recomend the GBBR, i've had the WA m4 and its such a pain to maintain as they break down so damn often. but they still are plenty fun to shoot. mines mainly a wall hanger and plinker now, an AEG will always outperform a GBBR
@Arsenalw80 there are less afterarket parts for a GBBRs ;and parts such as hop up buckings, tighbores, mofsets, and other bits will always outperform nad be more reliable a GBBR. GBBrs are also affected by weather while an AEG will perform in all weather conditions
@brendy1995 Once again, No. you can use AEG TBB in GBBRs, And GBBR hopups are easily better. And weather effects the mag, Not the gun, Simple things like handwarmers(for cold weather) will stop those problems from happening.
And AEGs don't run in all weather conditions, Rain and snow has been the death of many.
@Arsenalw80 quality AEGwill do fine in rain and snow, water will not get into the gearbox. mine worked perfectly under canadian winter conditions. i kniw cold affects mag, i have taped 2 handwarmers on each side of a GBBr mag and still didnt help that much. AEGs are generally less prone to things affecting it. i'm not dissing GBBRs, i own 2, and use then occasionally in the summer. an AEG is just more versatile IMO. i respect your opinions on GBBs, lets not turn this into a major argument.
@brendy1995 GBBRs are hard to maitain and you'll spend more on gas while AEGs are easy to maintain and you won't buy gas canisters, only extra batteries (if you'll buy) and you'll only plug it and charge it. Yeah the AEG version is sweet, can't wait for that. Functions like a real gun with the bolt and everything on it's internals. It will be better if, like I said, blowback, recoil and I forgot to mention the bolt release.

Spending $40+ for a battery just for it to die after a time = expensive.
And GBBRs are far easier to maintain. why? Because they're simple, They're similar to their Real counterparts which repairs a breeze, Where as AEGs have the whole gearbox system.
Yes, but you can recharge that battery. You can have that $40 batteries for years, but you'll easily spend hundreds of dollars on propane. AEGs are more practical. It's a fact. I can hold down the trigger with my AEG without any cooldown effect, and I can use high caps.

And batteries will die, You're slowly killing your battery every-time you charge it. And I haven't spend hundreds on propane. two cans lasts me 2-4 months of weekly-every two weeks of skirmishes.

In the end its the specific persons decision on what to get, but im just saying if your local shop gets a realsword don't hesitate to take a look, this is coming from a happy realsword customer.

About 2 years ago Kwa was actually the OEM for most if not all WA products so some of those WA GBBR M4s are actually made by Kwa and also this may come as a shock to you but Kwa also makes stuff for Black and Decker, the guys who makes power tools and stuff lol and also Kwa makes a part for Mercedes Benz haha. Kwa isn't just an airsoft company ;)

@billybxox we have quite a bit of real sword products we probably will get them, but we have a much longer wait, for example the aresm3a1 came out like half a year ago and america still doesnt have it.

Yeah kwa and real swords gbbr are going to be a very interesting comparison. The real sword though I think would be a Lil bit better cause of the externals and that the mags are going to hold a lot of gas. But....But kwa might put there ns2 system in there gbbr so that's where I'm torn between these companies. I'll probably pit my money into real sword.

what type of gearbox version does that m16 have? i doubt they could cram that awesome charging handle in with a V2 GB. dsince it uses a "real stock" does the battery go into the PEQ 15?

@NuheroX the AEG looks sweet, dont i dont recomend the GBBR, i've had the WA m4 and its such a pain to maintain as they break down so damn often. but they still are plenty fun to shoot. mines mainly a wall hanger and plinker now, an AEG will always outperform a GBBR

Is it more practical? Yes. GBBRs perform just as good if not better than AEGs, They just aren't as practical as AEGs.

@Arsenalw80 there are less afterarket parts for a GBBRs ;and parts such as hop up buckings, tighbores, mofsets, and other bits will always outperform nad be more reliable a GBBR. GBBrs are also affected by weather while an AEG will perform in all weather conditions

@brendy1995 Once again, No. you can use AEG TBB in GBBRs, And GBBR hopups are easily better. And weather effects the mag, Not the gun, Simple things like handwarmers(for cold weather) will stop those problems from happening.
And AEGs don't run in all weather conditions, Rain and snow has been the death of many.

@Arsenalw80 quality AEGwill do fine in rain and snow, water will not get into the gearbox. mine worked perfectly under canadian winter conditions. i kniw cold affects mag, i have taped 2 handwarmers on each side of a GBBr mag and still didnt help that much. AEGs are generally less prone to things affecting it. i'm not dissing GBBRs, i own 2, and use then occasionally in the summer. an AEG is just more versatile IMO. i respect your opinions on GBBs, lets not turn this into a major argument.

@brendy1995 GBBRs are hard to maitain and you'll spend more on gas while AEGs are easy to maintain and you won't buy gas canisters, only extra batteries (if you'll buy) and you'll only plug it and charge it. Yeah the AEG version is sweet, can't wait for that. Functions like a real gun with the bolt and everything on it's internals. It will be better if, like I said, blowback, recoil and I forgot to mention the bolt release.

Spending $40+ for a battery just for it to die after a time = expensive.
And GBBRs are far easier to maintain. why? Because they're simple, They're similar to their Real counterparts which repairs a breeze, Where as AEGs have the whole gearbox system.

Yes, but you can recharge that battery. You can have that $40 batteries for years, but you'll easily spend hundreds of dollars on propane. AEGs are more practical. It's a fact. I can hold down the trigger with my AEG without any cooldown effect, and I can use high caps.

And batteries will die, You're slowly killing your battery every-time you charge it. And I haven't spend hundreds on propane. two cans lasts me 2-4 months of weekly-every two weeks of skirmishes.

@DeltaWinters88 I do, but to say they don't compare to a realsword is just lying to yourself, When I had planned to get an m16 I looked into KWA, but realsword externals are only matched by systema, and I've seen realsword internals do some great things before, like 10k shots on one trigger pull. In the end its the specific persons decision on what to get, but im just saying if your local shop gets a realsword don't hesitate to take a look, this is coming from a happy realsword customer.

@Schultz98 True true lol but the thing is I don't think you know the full extent of Kwa's history haha. About 2 years ago Kwa was actually the OEM for most if not all WA products so some of those WA GBBR M4s are actually made by Kwa and also this may come as a shock to you but Kwa also makes stuff for Black and Decker, the guys who makes power tools and stuff lol and also Kwa makes a part for Mercedes Benz haha. Kwa isn't just an airsoft company ;)
