Another thing I do with circles is to visualize my elbows as ink filled points. I then "draw small circles" with those"elbow points" this concept works with individual arm movements and depending on how far you extend your limb, gives that "snaking"effect

@Jstroman221 Awesome! Good to know all this stuff I spent loads of time figuring out is going to be built on. I'm eventually going to try and work up to the cutting edge of liquid in the tutorials where you don't even use traditional techniques but all experimental ideas.
