  • The Patriot makes me cry my eyes out.

  • Armageddon and Radio made me cry the most

  • Damn you radio. Makin me cry.

  • marley and me!

  • radio always makes me cry

  • Armageddon always gets me. Always.

  • Radio was good. My friend started laughing so I started laughing which made me feel bad.

  • Mighty Joe Young made me laugh at the end. I play the jungle fever song every time.

  • I remember the ending of Man on Fire brought me to tears. The music didn't help either. That was a great way to end the movie.

  • Apart from Mighty Joe Young all of those get me so teary eyed on their own. Put together like this it's really hard not to xD

  • pfft where is "i am sam"

  • Radio man. God it hurts watching that scene.

  • the biggest tear jerker is marly and me

  • best one is armageddon always gets me ;(

  • @morne13579 cant top that one. he gave his lif enot for everyone else on earth but for his baby girl. and so that she would live on

  • #1 is #1 for a reason. Even when it was in the theater I cried like a kid when she said "Papa."

  • HOOOOOOOooooly SHIT! Right when that little girl cries "papa" I had to stop the vid.

That little girl should have gotten an oscar for that scene alone.

  • add land before time to this (where littlefoots mom dies)

  • @j0k3r667 that was the first time i have ever cried in a movie.

  • Amrageddon and Radio get me everytime..

  • lion king takes the cake

  • man i cried at the end of e.t.

  • i frickin cried in armad=geddon and the partriot..dammit i cant spell right ..

  • god fucking damnit. Not lassy. NOOOOOOOOOOO

  • I think one part that gets me is the part in the first ICE AGE, near the end, anyone know what I am talking about ?

  • The only ones that really gets me is Lion King and Armageddon

  • i would add "8 seconds" to this

  • that patriot scene KILLED ME

  • i was wondering if i could handle watching Mufasa die in Lion King 3D because the original just tore me up....still does....and beyond that the scenes after i just dont know what to say...every teardrop is a water.

  • radio </3

  • i am surprised anyone even saw radio, let alone cried while watching it.

  • as soon as i saw mighty joe young the tears just started flowin'

  • man on fire at the end should be added!

  • Bet you havent see "the Orphanage"...

    /watch?v=Uo6KRXGBkz8

  • I didn't cry until I saw the title Lion King...had to fast forward that, couldn't take it today, then when I saw Armageddon all I had to say was "Crap...fast forward" I've never seen patriot so I didn't know what to expect but when it hit me, it really freaking hit me...still got tears.

  • I didn't cry until Armageddon, THAT'S when the waterworks began.

  • There were so many sad scenes in The Patriot. It' always gets me when the hero/protagonist dies.

  • I hate you so much for making me watch this and cry.... I was looking through motivational/inspirational movie speeches and I somehow ended up here.... The tears began during the Lion King part.... and as a man... I don't cry much. Great films.

  • aw lion king =[

  • When I first saw this scene from the Patriot, I actually teared up. And I am NOT a softee. Probably the one movie I've ever shed a tear for while watching.

  • nooooo lion king :((

  • OMG im still cry out when i watching these movies

  • I have never seen The Patriot, so does he come back?

  • anyone else cry during gran torino? i cried the second time i saw it. and i NEVER cry in movies.

  • LAAAAASSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEE!!!! :'(((((((

  • what about bambi??? oh, btw, Armageddon was such a great and powerful movie...sad too

  • simba :,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,(

  • Dude! Awesome video, but you totally picked the wrong scene from Armageddon. In my opinion the best scene is when Harry pulls AJ's air supply and goes instead of him. That part makes me cry so hard.

  • mighty joe young wtf is that doing here

  • The patriot isnt the saddest, what!

  • Mighty Joe Young!! It's been a WHILE since I saw that!!

  • I remember crying to Radio when I watched it, that one was way too much for me...and still is...

  • fail

  • every time I see that scene from the lion king I can't help but just not watch it that sad

  • Who cares about a stupid gorilla

  • ok the first one with the dog made me sob cuz i love dogs so much!

  • Drier than Hades in West Texas and the darn flood came!!! This Marine cried a little, NO alot!!!

  • i've seen sadder moments on super bowel ads.

  • the lion king... nostalgia... i so hated simba for being a brat at the time

  • that was hard to watch, i'm still teary eyed after that Radio scene and armageddon scene. I think you should have included the scene leading up to John Coffey's death in the green mile and maybe the death of optimus prime, I know I'm in the minority on that one, but as a kid watching it for the first time, it broke my heart.

  • where is titanic for god's sake ????

  • @shanagola1 somebody didn't read :05 ... tisk tisk

  • @shanagola1 Bottom of the Atlantic?

  • @GormSim

lol thanks for the explanation :p

  • showing the lion king is just not fair, that is the ultimate sadness, i cannot keep it in when i see mufasa die

  • when James Earl Jones dies the funeral is gonna be HUGE!!

  • armageddon wasnt even sad....

  • what about the green mile - john coffeys death makes me cry everytime

  • armageddon and lion king make me cry everytime :(

  • Who made this list? NO WAY.. One thing, does anyone graduate from high school in South Carolina? Do they have dental insurance for their students?

  • oh sheesh might jo young :,(

  • Stupid freakin dog...stay outa the freakin water. got me swellin and chokin up in here

  • I've cried at a lot of the movies on this list. The Patriot was sad as hell, Armageddon made me cry like a bitch, and virtually any movie where a dog/child dies gets the waterworks going...

But I'm not gonna lie, I fast forwarded RIGHT through the Lion King part. I could not handle that shit right now...

  • @coffeetea720 Yeah the lion king is a tough one to hold the tears back on.

  • @coffeetea720 :( not mufasa

  • the saddest one is lionking

  • idk the one movie that gets me going everytime is the final scene in the green mile

  • XD Armageddon gets me started every time.

  • OHH shit son lassie fucks me up everytime.. sittin here cryin' n shit.

  • fox and the hound when she's dropping copper off at the forest

  • You spoilt mighty joe for those who aint seen it.

  • <_< I need to go buy my dog a life jacket now...

  • Comment removed

  • Not even gonna lie for me it was When Dobby died in Harry potter ):

  • lion king hands down

  • Everytime i see an animal die in a movie i wanna punch everyone who worked on that movie for letting it happen

  • I can't even read this screen anymore..its all blurry with tears..that definitely was a good top 6 ..

  • old yeller???

  • 'Pokemon: Mewtwo Strikes Back' the scene where Ash turns into stone and Pikachu cries. :'(

  • :'( omg, i hate when i cry but i watched this anyway :L but what about the green mile?? first movie i ever cried at....

  • Lassie is absoloutley awful :(

  • Oh God, poor, poor Simba. The Lion King remains to be oneo f my all time favourite films, terribly sad though.

  • Radio is brutal, should of brought Cuba back in to oscar contention though

  • Wow, I'm 27 ad totally forgot how sad it was when Simba's dad died. I broke out in tears

  • never saw radio

  • Errr I know and fully aware it's your opinion

    But where the fuck is

    Ladder 49

    Pearl Harbour

  • @VinniManga pearl harbour is where it should be.......at the bottom of the 99c bucket rotting

  • she wanted that monkeys cock

  • Ok this stuff is weak as hell. Lassie and Might Joe Young? pssh. Braveheart. Thats got some tear jerker scenes. Gladiator with Russel Crowe. Theres another good one. The music just goes so well with it. A few moments in Lord of the Rings, all three movies. American History X, at the end when Danny dies after the whole movie. Now that was fucking sad. Armageddon, I'll give you that one.

  • lion king got me crying when I was a kid.... it still does now lol

  • one really sad movie is mary and max imo

  • armageddon and radio made me cry alot ='[

  • for the patriot, you didn't include the scene where his son dies in front of him?

  • U want to see a sad scene, watch the movie sunshine and u will see so many tear jerking scenes in the movie.

  • Armageddon: the saddest part is when A.J. is crying in the elevator and he yells "Harry I love you!"

  • LASSIE DIES?! D: HOW DIDNT I KNOW THIS?!

  • Um, has anyone heard of schindler's list??

    Just saying...

  • Damn it!!!!!! Now im all depressed!!!!

  • What about Forest Gump when Bubba dies?

  • Why is it I am sad more when animals die then people?

  • @Christian4life0 Because you're fucked in the head and a traitor to your own species.

  • @IDFPleonexia I guess its because in movies they make the animal deaths more usually tragic then people. I have been real sad when people die but its only when you have a chemistry with them throughout a movie.

  • The Patriot worked for me :'(

  • What's that first one?

  • Gladiator (when he dies.)

Click (when he dies before he wakes up.)

The Green mile (when the black guy dies)

  • The end of forest gump was sad

  • for me

    6. Of mice and men (when lennie dies)

    5. Armageddon (this bit)

4.Little miss sunshine (when the dude finds out hes colour blind)

    3. Gladiator (when he dies.)

    2. Click (when he dies before he wakes up.)

    1. Reign over me (when the dick lawyer shows him the picture)

Moral of the story... Adam sandler is the best actor when it comes to sad scenes...

  • @contrastofshadows reign over me yes. But id have to say when he comes out and talks to Cheadle about his family for the first time. I hardly ever cry in movies but i sobbed like a 12 year old girl at that part.

  • Has anyone watched "grave of the fireflies", watch it and tell me if that is not the saddest movie ever?

  • Watch all of Black Beauty. It's all depressing and sad TT_TT

  • You forgot the endig scene in the first Ice Age movie.

  • i love my dog to much i would have gone with her

  • Tell me I've led a good life...Tell me I'm a good man...

  • Radio. Radio just breaks my heart into a million pieces.

  • what is at 6:40?

  • Saving Private Ryan tops the list.

  • The Lion King will always be #1 for me. :'/

  • Fuck monkeys, Mighty Joe Young.... More like Faggy Joe bum. That lil bitch.

  • HAHAAHAAAAA

    i didnt cry

  • that little girl at the end should win an award!

  • Radio is so underrated.

  • @Cuttiiee2 The movie killed me as a kid i may have cried for literally a week straight

  • @reymysteriofan25 Yes! It was so sad. During the movie I probably cried around 6 times. The hardest when his mom died.

  • @Cuttiiee2 cubing gooding jr. is a amazing actor. If somebody didn't know him and saw that movie they would problaby assume that was a actual mentally challenged person.

  • Nah man. The end of "Field of Dreams" has to be the ultimate tear jerker for me. That is a good cry for real men right there,

  • What about the ending of the boy in the striped pajamas?

  • I'm boo hoo-ing tears over. You picked some good ones

  • Yeah, the Armageddon scene was a killer... father/daughter moment softens me right up.... Cuba and Ed Harris really delivered in Radio... and the "I'll say anything!" moment in The Patriot was tough... but I don't think a movie has ever made me cry so hard as when watching The Notebook with my (now) wife. The movie itself is hard enough to watch but when the wife starts sobbing, it just breaks me...

  • radio....dont know why...but it made me..actually cry pretty hard..

  • Mighty Joe young god that movie gets me balling

  • Mighty joe Young and Lion King!!! Thats stupid. There cartoons!

  • @3Axy10Est13 Mighty Joe Young, that movie wasn't worthy of crying. Now Lion King, however, making fun of that makes me wanna reach through my monitor and rip your head off.

  • @3Axy10Est13 you're stupid

  • Mighty Joe Young! that stupid!!

  • I'm not a big crier, but The Lion King always gets me :(

  • I'll say anything!!!!!!!!

  • That lion king scene gets me every single time

  • I cried at Armageddon

  • armageddon man...that one is sad. but it is an amazing movie

  • 3:07
