Great motor, weak trans, especially if you don't run serious motor mounts. Stock rods will take you to 350whp on pump gas all day if you have a great tune. I have since parted out this car. For the record I have YET to race or see any fast turbo IS300. My current car is a 716whp SC300 (see my other vids), so yah, bring your IS :)

I was just wondering because i have the same motor in my probe and I know these have i believe either a 10:1 or 11:1 compression ratio which is high and it sucks because it i shard to turbo these without blowing the motor. if you haven't gotten rid of the mx6 i'd keep it. Either find a kl motor and drop it in or just find a different mx6 and use yours for parts. mx6's aren't too expensive.. in Iowa anyway when you can find them. i paid... 500 for mine and it had no body damage 122k manual v6. then i decided i needed money sold it for a grand the kid fucked alot of shit up and traded my 500 dollar jeep for it back... i got work to do now

@olah002 lol, I'm not a youtube know it all... if you watch the video and look at the under hood picture it looks like the pipe is coming strait from the turbo. And I do have a turbocharged klze probe and a turbocharged 2005 mustang gt and a 89 mustang lx with a built 306 on a 200 shot, so I do know what i'm talking about... it just honestly looked like it was coming strait from the turbo to the intake...
@uploaded113redone actually there is very little room for a big turbo. However a decent size turbo could be ran not a large one, and yeah you can fit a large intercooler. However if you look at the picture of under the hood it just looks like the charge pipe is coming straight from the turbo to the throttle body. I'm assuming it's just the camera angle playing tricks on me though. And there are a LOT of ppl out there running turbo's/superchargers with no intercooler.
@probercr93 i have a 2jz supra turbo that i plan on installing in my mx-6 ill probably use an impreza intercooler and with a battery relocation which is very easy if you already have subs installed. the space between the motor and the right side of the engine bay has a lot of room for pipeing and behind the bumper there is enough room for another radiator not to mention an intercooler
Weird? No...he just was slower. I can post the whole unedited video, but with 50 MORE whp and being significantly lighter, why would expect something else?
ok, but Lexus still can run sideways, and Mx-6 does not :)
