  • (continued from below) Since Oregon passed the Death With Dignity Act, the number of people who received assistance with suicide rose from 16 to 59. That number will only continue to climb and that's incredibly sad. Yes, we do have the right to autonomy but we oftentimes make poor decisions because of our irrationality. We cannot know what the future has in store for us and I hate to burden doctors with the power to take that future away from someone else. Live love.

  • Rather than complaining about the problem, let's come up with solutions. Let me just say as humans we are incredibly shortsighted. I'm guilty of it, as I'm sure many others are. I've been blessed/lucky/whatever you want to say with health and a strong support system. There are many who have been denied that kind of life. Let's start a nonprofit. Let's create love and support systems for those with terminal illnesses who either A) don't have that love and support or B) can't afford Hospice.

  • They go there to die because they are suffering.. It's not as though they're abortion doctors lol

  • What about if you dont have family idiot.how is depending on people a good quality of life?

  • I bet he supports the death penalty =-/

  • @get1modernwarfare2, ironic

  • YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES I SUFFER WITH A DISEASE FAR WORSE THAN THIS I CHOOSE NOT TO HAVE ASSISTED DEATH IT'S NOT MANS JOB TO TAKE ONES LIFE. & THEY WILL PAY DEARLY FOR DOING SO. EITHER WAY MY POINT IS IF THEY CHOOSE TO EVERYONE'S OKAY WITH IT BUT WHEN ONE OPPOSES IT WE ARE CALLED SELFISH . YOU ALL NEED TO STOP, LOOK , & THINK OF WHAT'S GOING ON THE BIGGER PICTURE YOU ARE THE VIRUSES WE ARE NOT BAD PEOPLE BECAUSE WE CHOSE TO LIVE.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION!

    G-D HELP US

  • @NAVYWIFEONE, BULLSHIT!

  • @NAVYWIFEONE Obviously not everyone is okay with assisted suicide. so your statement "POINT IS IF THEY CHOOSE TO EVERYONE'S OKAY WITH IT BUT WHEN ONE OPPOSES IT WE ARE CALLED SELFISH" is completely false. Also, you cannot say that people who chose to opt for assisted suicide will "pay dearly" for doing so because those are YOUR religious beliefs, not theirs. Who's to say your beliefs are correct? I bet suicide bombers who are killing themselves for their god felt that theirs were right.

  • This guy is dead now guys. Hes been dead for years now.

  • Fox News. What a surprise...

  • *sin not sun. Sorry.

  • I absolutely cannot and will not judge those who decide to end their lives, as Bo one knows what they are going through. However, as a Christian I can't help but think that suffering on Earth has a purpose and in some way might cleanse one of his/her sun before dying in order to live with Christ in Heaven. Some people might not spiritually be ready to die and need that time to get their mind in a place if peace and love before taking that final breath. I don't know though. I suppose if I was no

  • hope this fucktard loves his pathetic pain when he dies.

when i grow old ill choose assisted suicide. fuck suffering. the human body suicides natually as it ages. and when you die, so shall be the glorious end to all suffering and pain. it makes me smirk at how cowards would rather feel pain extended than to rather have the balls to end it for good. oh and fuck jesus for not healing this asshole. i still love you all though. just not fox.

god bless the "right" news. -_-

  • I don't care what you guys say. Assisted suicide is wrong. No questions asked.

  • @DMANSADUDE i agree , all my respect

  • obviously he wasnt in a lot of pain. if he was in severe chronic pain he would have done anything to stop it ,including assisted suicide! just amagine you had a severe toothache that never stopped hurting and the only way you could rid yourself of the pain was to kill yourself. trust me you would do it , i guarantee it!

  • @yourallbrainwashed you could always pull the tooth... irrelevent comparison...

  • @yourallbrainwashed I thought he said he wasn't in pain...

  • His opinion is to be valued and respected.

It should NOT, however, be foisted on others as a matter of course. If someone wishes to be helped to end their suffering through modern medicine, I see no reason why any of us can think ourselves arrogant enough to deny them that right (even if, like this man, we happen to be in a similar situation but of different mindset).

  • OF COURSE!! He's part of the church... Now i know why he is against assisted suicide

  • 10,000 years ago yes, grabbing a stone and giving your fellow humna being a mercy blow is acceptable. But we're now far too advanced into medical technologies that it is absolutely inexcusable to accept such brutality. There are many drugs and treatment that could help the person feel better and enjoy the rest of their lives, give them heroine if it need be, but don't give them the temptation to poison themselves.

  • YOU CANNOT FORCE SOMEONE TO LIFE AND DIE BASED ON A RELIGIOUS TEACHING.

  • The only real reason that these people are opposed to volentary euthanasia of the dying is because they believe in fundamentalist christianity. They believe that god will take us all in "his time", instead of it happening randomly etc.

  • @actionist29 It's not a God issue. It's an ethical issue. Do we as a society have a right to the taking of innocent human life regardless of the conditions? The debate stops there. A christian will use God in his argument, but it won't carry any weight because it is a non-issue. If it becomes legal to essentially murder a person, simply because they are sick, what will stop us from taking the life of another person for any reason they deem worthy? Who decides what is a good reason to end a life?

  • @deliveryboy1 Are you willing to FORCE that dying man to suffer until the cancer or whatever takes over his entire body? If the person WANTS to die, and has NO CHANCE at recovery the only HUMANE thing to do is to let him decide on his own. This might NOT be in line with your Western driven propoganda, but it IS the right thing to do only when its volentary. the cancer or whatever is already being the murderer.

  • @actionist2009 Not sure what western driven propaganda is, or what your referring to, but you didn't answer the only question I asked. Who decides? Is the dying in a position to accurately express their wishes to die? What if he can't speak? Do we force our doctors to carry it out? What if a doctor chooses not to take the life? Does the family sue over lack of care? It's a much bigger picture than, the dieing have a right. I'm not exactly taking a position, I'm just stating my concerns.

  • If this man wants to dye a natural death, then it should be HIS choice. but if someone who has a different brain and him wants to be euthanised, it should be HIS CHOICE too and HOW DARE THAT TEA PARTY SLUT LAURA INGRAMN TRY TO POLITICIZE THIS! she said "this is power to the people" bull fucking shit. What about the other side? huh? what a right wing slutjob. stupid bimbo bitch.

  • Things like this make me fucking hate Christianity.

  • It's fox news, fucking lyerz

  • Something tells me that if the pain was, as he puts it, "a component of his disease" he'd be singing a different tune. Sure we should try and comfort those with terminal, PAINFUL, illness but what to do when effort goes to zero? Watch them suffer while begging for an end to it?

  • You aren't in pain you fucking asshole

  • more fox news drivel, not surprising.

  • Should the state sanction the doctor as medical executioner? What, then, should the procedure be legally defined as? Terminal therapeutics. I do think that the state's reserving for doctors such a seemingly contradictory role, outside that of healer, is most problematic. However, many statist leaning types would welcome this added power to the doctor. I do feel that desire to end one's life should be left private, as the the final measure of love and compassion of loved ones and dear friends.

  • Of course he has a nice quality of life, being a former Boeing Computer programmer and all, I'm guessing he had a very fat paycheck every month which lets him enjoy life a lot better, being able to afford the best treatments. But what about people who can't afford it? Or people that don't respond anymore to palliative care because the pain is too severe? Give the people the right of being able to choose when to die, they deserve it after all they have been through.

  • If he can have the choice of living till he finally dies, why can't someone have the choice of not waiting?

  • I don't think he's judging. it is his choice. If you call him retarded, you're judging more. Someone people who is fully functional don't have as loving family and good support as he does. Sure some people can't or don't want to look past their disease or pain (which is sometimes unbearable) but this man deserve props to have the courage to keep living, enjoying every minute.

  • 2:54 "I'm trying to hold back the tears right here, right now..." That's your moment of Zen!

  • "I'm trying to hold back the tears right here, right now..." And that is your moment of Zen!

  • what a cunt that woman is

  • stupid fag

  • religious dogmatic liars, don't pass judgment on others! sickos!

  • disagree with this biased and snake-like religious dogmatic report. sick!

  • Faux news, fair and balanced as always. Where's the interviews of the people in agonizing pain begging for an end to their suffering? Fuck this sob for thinking he has the right to make the choice for everybody. How would he feel if somebody else dieing got to decide that because he wanted to die, all terminally ill patients should die? He's not even in pain and he has company, he needs to STFU.

  • Its my body NOT yours.... Its my "Gift" ... so fuck off. Eat your bible..

  • This is one man's opinion, out of a vast amount of people who are actually for the Death with Dignity Act. If he chooses to pass on the natural way that is fine, but who are we to prohibit another person's choice and RIGHT to end their own suffering. While I respect this man's point of view and his own right to voice it, I certainly don't agree with it.

  • It's your life. If you don't want to end it to end your agony, that's fine. What isn't fine is when you insist others prolong their life and their suffering for your own self aggrandizement. The sheer arrogance of thinking you know better than other people as to whether their life is worth living or not and desiring to take away their choice to decide for themselves. Screw you fox.

  • Monotone* Im trying to hold back the tears right here right now. but what an amazing life lesson... and every life no matter how compromised (shitty) or medically compromised (even shittier) your life is, every single life is worth protecting. I'd like to hear you say that when you have a shitty life and you're in extreme pain from an illness. She says "every life is worth protecting" like they are forced into assisted suicide. THEY ARE NOT FORCED

  • hes not in pain or suffering...if he had to be in pain and suffering...he would welcome the idea.

  • assisted suicide is an oxymoron

  • This guy doesn't seem to realize that nobody is forcing terminally ill patients into suicide.

  • this woman is scum, she needs to learn how to control her words or her mental filter. "I know you're dying, people suffering like you, few months to live, few months to live, few months to live..." if you read this woman, then you take into consideration that you are an unthinking, uncaring, and sorrowful miserable excuse for someone who should be broadcasting the truth...maggot...

  • I think doctors are also given the option of assisted suicide, they should be able to refer the patient to another doctor.

  • well, its been a couple years now... he's most likely dead by now, and with only 42k views :-x i dont think he made much a dent in his bucket list

  • Look, I don't agree with this guy in the least, but I DO believe that he's trying to do what he thinks is right. On the other hand, that "reporter" should be sucker punched repeatedly until her teeth fall out. You don't need to say "As a man with only a few months to live" three hundred times, WE GET THE PICTURE. WE KNOW HE'S DYING! FOX "news" needs to learn how to be fair and unbiased in their programs.

  • @ProudMemberofMCRMY well, then they wouldnt be fox news anymore would they? lol

  • @TheDarkscribe True...I wouldn't get to rage at them like I'm used to. *sigh*

  • What a fucking useless cunt, he's dying and still doesn't have humility to respect other people. I'm glad he's dead lololololol.

  • @croc97 well we all know your going to hell

  • I liked the part about him dying.

  • With all due respect, he has some very weak arguments.

  • Just because this man doesn't want assisted suicide, that doesn't mean that every person suffering doesn't want it to end. Also, there are regulations and standards for assisted suicide: eg, the person must be of sound mind, be progressed beyond ALL hope, etc....

  • Oppose assisted suicide?

The solution is simple: Don't have one.

  • I hope the self-righteous fucker gets ASL and dies... oh wait.

  • @SurvivorCharlie I see your comment and I am disgusted. I look at your channel and of course, I see some Halo 3 videos. How could you ever talk bad about a person that is dying like this? People abuse life in this world so much that I cant see where humanity is going. You are making fun of someone who has ASL and who will most likely die for it. While you, most likely wont ever have to go threw this. I really hope humanity turns around and starts caring for one another instead of destroying.

  • @Agentmass Fuck you.

  • Jack doesn't assist in suicide, he assist in Painless and Humane Suicide, if people want to die, they can also blow their brains out but further more...FYI 120 Veterans commit suicide every week or 6000+ per yer due to PTSD and the lack of help from the VA...Hey Nancy Grace and Main Stream Media, lets talk about that!

  • Check out Nikki Kenward's views on assisted suicide. She performs on the 4th Plinth as part of the One & Other project and discusses why we shouldn't take this dangerous path. Check out Nikki Kenward via Youtube search.

  • this ain´t journalism.. .its religious propaganda

  • Thumbs up if you think this guy is faking it.

  • My blood is boiling right now, the selfish bastard needs to mind his own dam business, I DO NOT care what he chooses to do, but I do care that he THINKS he has the right to tell me what I can do!

All I see is a man using his illness to push his religious mind virus

  • @1BustedMyth I don't think so I suffer I have for 10 years & now I found out I have the same illness Bernie Mac has died from on top of the other 7 I live everyday in pain and I am able to do little I am 38 but I don't see this as being religious people will pay for you to die & not live? everyone whose terminally ill as I don't chose to die because there's no cure treatment, I have Lupus as well as a demialtying Neurological disease called Devic Disease which is very fatal . everyday is beau.

  • @NAVYWIFEONE, I do not have the right to tell you how long you should suffer or keep you alive against your will, nor do I have the right to tell you when to give up, both are your choice and yours alone, my agrivation is that people are having their freedom to choose over ridden by others with religious delusions. If you choose to be gullible enough to actually believe what is stone age mythology that is your choose, but you DO NOT have the right to push it on me or my loved ones.

  • the only way I would accept active euthanasia under the consent of the patient is if society greatly discourage using this option but allow it and respect the choice of the person. (i'm not speaking of letting someone die of natural causes)

  • @Raph0192 and physician shouldn't be the ones making the act. It should be the patient or someone chosen by the patient.

  • Good for him! Assisted suicide is MURDER...someone is killing someone else. One of the ten commandments is Thou shalt not kill! DOES THAT MEAN ANYTHING????

  • @KellyThundercloud dumb ass

  • @KellyThundercloud not everyone follows a religon

  • @KellyThundercloud No it doesn't mean anything. Christians should not force their beliefs on others. We all should have the choice to have a peaceful death.. not suffer unbearably, waste away in a bed for weeks, months or even years.

And the 10 Commandments are way too simplistic. Do not kill? What if it's in self defense? Do not lie? What if you're in 1930s Germany, Nazis come to your door to ask if you're hiding Jews? Are you going to tell them the truth so not offend this deity?

  • @KellyThundercloud No. No it doesn't. For you see, whatever you believe, that doesn't mean it applies to everyone. And also, assisted suicide isn't murder: it's assisted suicide!

  • HAHA Why WOULDN'T FOX interview this guy. It's their personal decision dude! I bet people are calling the other guy names.

  • retarded propaganda

religion is the root of all evil

  • Is the necklace a coincidence or does she always wear it? Let it be known now I'm not opposing either side just wondering.

  • Just because this guy is dying we're supposed to listen to his opinion more than the opposing opinion of others in the same position. If a person wishes to die naturally then so be it if not and they of sound mind wish to take a different route then that's up to them. A doctor of the opinion that this is right in his eyes isn't being made into a killer he is simply supplying the means. Lethal injection are administered by a person, Is it ok that they have become a killer doctor or not?

  • what a waist of your last moments to fight other people's right to end their own life.. his arrogance is astonishing! and please, please! I beg all of you, please stop bringing your God into this discussion!

  • @chutzpahboo well said!

  • "I'm trying to hold back the tears"... I really want to slap that whore...

  • I can respect this man's personal "choice" for not dsiring assisted euthanasia..but it is not morally right ti inflict their choice on others that are suffering. The fact that he says he has no pain is a big giveaway. Someday when he's gasping for more breath and is suffering from that I'd be curious to see if he changes his mind about having no choice but in endure physical torture via illness.

  • One Man's Opinion is not Everyone's opinion...just as in abortion rights...you have the right to do with your body whatever you decide...cuz it is yours...leave the religious out of it...If you don't have the means to do it yourself...you should be able to ask your Doctor to help you die with dignity...not everyone has a family or friends for that matter that would take up caring for you til you die...as sad as that sounds...once your unconscious...they are gonna pull the plug anyway...so wth

  • of coarse fox news would show this side.

  • It's great that you have a quality life. (although I seriously doubt it)

But that does not mean you have any right to tell anyone else they should suffer till the bitter end. Absolutely none.

You want to protect every single life FOX NEWS? How about opposing the war on Iraq? That would've saved a couple of thousand right?

Oh sorry, you meant every single AMERICAN life, I'm so sorry for misunderstanding your absolutely logical and consistent argument. GO JESUS GO!!!

  • I cannot understand John Paeyton can oppose this law, he wants the right to die as he wishes, why does he oppose the rights of others to die as they wish? Even as regards a doctor havig to assist a patient, that is also up to the doctor, but he would condem all to live on with pain and suffering, not just to the patient thems elves, but their family. And yes, all life is sacred, thats why we have the deth penalty and wars!! What hipocracy

  • even though this man is dieing if he decideds he doesn't want assisted suicide doesn't mean the rest of us shouldn't have our own choose if were in his position. being completely depend on other people for basic needs is not living, if i can't do the basic things in life then life is not worth living.

  • I am close to being totally paralysed now and have a lot of pain. My legs are useless and both my arms are very weak and my fingers are stiff and numb so I am already totally dependent on help. I can only write this using a voice recognition device. I reserve the right to die painlessly when I choose and not have to suffer.

So this guy decided he would stay on until the disease took him being unable to breathe speak or swallow. That was his choice. That will not be mine.

  • @topbombing2007

That was what I was thinking. Just because he doesn't want to die doesn't mean we "as a society" should make it illegal for everyone else to choose to die. Anyways good luck to you mate.

  • @topbombing2007 What if a cure to your illness will be invented short time after you vuluntarily die?

  • @sourmanofcoal nice comment. one should stay and suffer hanging on a "what if". the right to death should be a fundamental human right.

  • @sourmanofcoal what if the sun doesnt come up anymore and everyone freezes to death? i mean Even if a new cure was to be made, it would take a very long time to get enough to go around and there are lots of legal issues they have to go through before it can be used. By that time, your body would probably be either too contaminated with what you have or you are dead.

  • @topbombing2007 smoke some weed yo

  • somebody tell that selly bitch to shut the fuck up or kill her

  • but surely if its his right to die normally hasnt some got the right to die through assisted suicide !!! as he is american shouldnt e be fighting the death penalty which is in effect in the usa and not something thats up for debate!! people on death row have no choice but nor do the people who are terminally ill so in effect the terminally ill people should havee that right !! and im only saying that coz i just watched the documentary titled right to die which is in the links over there >>>

  • Even if you disagree with this man, disagree respectfully. He is proabably sitting in a coffin right now and your calling him horrible names. Think before you put a comment.

  • John doesn't seem to understand free will and free choice. Some people John don't want to live fighting to breath.Do they have a right to end it ? It's not all about you John, and some people have none of your supports, AND WILL NEVER HAVE WHAT YOU HAVE. It's called reality. Seems ALS doesn't alter narcissism in the least.

  • stupid ass fox piece of shit

  • @laplaptop how intelligible and eloquent.......(sarcasm,....in case you couldn't tell).

  • @LordWhorfinX2 thanks, using big words doesn't make you intelligent either.

  • @laplaptop Yes, yes it does. :) And you just cursing like trash only makes you that much more ignorant......but I forgive you, I didn't know they let mentally handicapped people on the internet.

  • @LordWhorfinX2 haha at least i expressed my opinion toward this stupid shit, and you. lol

but i have to say that i am intelligible enough to know that every terminal ill patient deserves a right to decide whether or not to suffer any longer. and you said you didn't even know they let mentally handicapped people on the internet? it's a free country, what the fuck? you seem like you're against human rights or someshit.

oh, and there's no god. k bye.

  • @laplaptop Suicide is not a human right. It's a coward's way out....it's quitting....it's pathetic. The guy in this video is a hero.

  • @LordWhorfinX2 sure, it may be a coward's way out. but it IS a choice; it does not affect anyone or their property, so therefore it IS a human right. (9th amendment)

though, i'll have to agree with you that this man is a hero

  • @laplaptop Suicide is MURDER. The taking of a human life. It is not in defense or protecting anyone....it is selfish murder.

  • @LordWhorfinX2 not if it's done with the patient's consent.

the only reason a physician is needed for assistance is because the patient is to weak to do so themselves.

it's not supposed to be in defense or protecting anyone, it's the patient's way to put their pains at rest.

  • @Action52TheMovie Ok do it - but don't involve others

  • @ccabezas87 What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

  • @Action52TheMovie euthanasia requires two people to make it possible

  • Mercy killing, or euthanasia is an dangerous idea and should never be a loved, because it is, in reality impossible to administer. In a time of economic crisis, massive cut down on the public health care sector, hospitals, euthanasia will be misused on patients that is regarded as not valuable on the labour market, especially old people will be “euthanized” by the doctors for economic and resource viewpoints. But also long time unemployed, people on sick pensions, homeless and groups a like.

  • The best thing about this video is his description of his quality of life.

  • I'm with yourdamntube - great that he doesn't want to die with dignity, totally his choice and Kervakian would say exactly the same - but it IS someone's right to choose when they've had enough... if your able to fool yourself with religious lunacy and dogma - that's great - but not everybody can... EVERY SINGLE LIFE has the right to choose how it ends...

  • To each their own. If a terminally ill person can no longer bear the suffering, then it is his/her COMPLETE right to end life on own terms. All the religious nuts arguing against euthanasia are utterly selfish and plain-sighted. If you believe that euthanasia is 'playing god' then go ahead and opt out of it.. sign a paper preventing end of life care/life support to not allow doctor's play god in ur case. But leave other people alone! Everyone has a right to die the way they want

  • God bless this man! :D

  • Human being, is not God's toy! You should be ashamed not to feel compassion for all the endless suffering people! Who are you to say someone can't die with dignity, while all you do is tell them how to live their life according archaic stupidities! If Dignitas is not for you, well enjoy life instead of spitting on everything that doesn't even concern you.

  • I'm only actively against it because the govt is allowing it for evil purposes.

  • @GloomySunset

What do you mean, and please provide evidence for your claims.

    Thank you.

  • @GloomySunset wtf are you talking about? What evil purposes?? If I suffer terminal illness, I OWN MY OWN WILL request to be prescribe a drug that when *I* drink ON MY OWN I will then die a peaceful death the way I choose it. I fail to understand how someone's backward religious view has anything to do with MY OWN goddamn right to die the way I want! OMFG.. are you insane people?

  • @vladbcom I'm not religious, nor did I say anything about religion. But if you wake up and learn about the Illuminati you'll see why.

  • What a wonderful man... thank you for posting this.

I'm thankful that many who are in the final stages of their lives will speak out against turning doctors into killers.

  • @stormylane

I am terminally ill. I am totally bedfast and in total pain. I live on morphine, percocet, and cannabis. I've lost my career, my money, my friends, and all of my talents. You and your kind have NO right to sentence me to this hell for as long as medical science can keep me alive. You have NO right to persecute and prosecute any compassionate individual whom I may ask to help me step out of this hell. Focus on your OWN problems, that should keep you too busy to meddle with mine.

  • He's in no pain..... I think that says it all

  • @worthen

    "He's in no pain"

    Absolutely.

There are many people in pain hundreds of times worse than Jesus' rough afternoon. Those who have not experienced such pain have no right whatsoever to dictate to those who are suffering.

Failure to euthanize a pet in chronic pain is a punishable offence in every state.

Suffering humans surely deserve the same consideration we give to a dog.

  • @Imaginefree69 are you kidding me? what if the person you loved the most had an awful desease that resumed his life into suffering every single day until you don't know when. Why can't someone die with dignity while he still can manage to say goodbye to his loved ones, so people don't remember him as a ....numb, suffering, corpse that is still breathing yet through wires and machines?? Is religion your only argument?? Don't you respect the human being enough to let him decide his own faith?

  • @di3zel

Are you a Christian or just a generic venom-spewer with reading handicaps?

I support the right of every competent person to control their own life without interference from governments or religions, with the ONLY exception being harm or threatened harm to others.

I oppose all religions as delusion and the Christian religion as harmful and based upon lies.

Your hostility and scorn and insults and accusations and other vomit do not belong to me.

Go back to high school and learn to read.

  • That Is Wonderful For This Man Who Has A Family To Care For Him. Their Are Others Who Don't Have A Family And A Nursing Home Is Worse Then Death For Those Without A Family Or A UnLoveing Family. Also Some People Have A Loving Family But A Unbearable Illness And Assisted Suicide Ends The Unbearable Illness And Unbearable Pain Methadone and Morphine Don't Control Anymore.

  • If you cannot create life, than neither can you take it. God is a God of love. Our creator and Saviour. We were bought with a price. We are not our own. God gives strength, God also suffers along with the sufferer. He does not wish that any die but that all come to repentance :)

    God bless xx

  • @SavedByGrace00 If suicide's good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for the rest of us.

  • @SavedByGrace00

Well what if someone who doesn't believe in god wants euthanasia, just because you view it as something in contradiction to YOUR religion doesn't mean it goes against his values. You shouldn't impose your morals onto him. It is his life not yours. It's not up to you to dictate to him what to do based on your morals, it should be his morals that decide about his life.

  • @MrBabablah Unlike Mankind, God does not seek to force men to comply with his laws but allows freedom of choice. But you are right, This is the truth as I see it. I do not wish to impose my morals and beliefs, merely share them. Forgive me for coming across to strong.

  • @SavedByGrace00 god doesnt exist get over it

  • @SavedByGrace00

"God does not seek to force men to comply with his laws "

Evidently you don't agree with the Bible.

YHVH forces all sorts of people to do things his way. And if they don't, he promises to torture us for ever.

    How is this not "forcing"?

Or are you saying that hell is optional?

Religion is delusion, and applies to no one outside the religion.

  • @Imaginefree69 We suffer the consequences of our actions. God has merely warned us that the consequences of sin is death. A parent warns their child not to touch the fire and due to a lack of trust the child touches it anyway. The child did not believe nor did they understand the consequences of their actions. But they were warned.

  • @SavedByGrace00 "But they were warned." "Dear Child, You are my offspring. Nothing will ever separate you from my love. I will always comfort you. Unless you don't believe me, or you're gay, or you've noticed the process of evolution, in which case I will torture you for ever and ever in the torture chamber I made. You know I'll do it, too. I already tortured and mutilated and killed and abandoned my only REAL son. Trust me. Your loving Father, God."
  • @SavedByGrace00

"God does not seek to force men to comply with his laws "

    Hahaha!!

If you ever read your Bible you are in for some very big surprises.

Of course he forces himself on people all the time.

The alternative, in case you have conveniently forgotten, is to be tortured by him for ever. In the Bible ha commanded murder, genocide, kidnapping, enslavement, dismemberment, baby-killing, and even public rape for those who failed to worship and obey him.

    Stop lying for Jesus.

  • @SavedByGrace00

"If you cannot create life, than neither can you take it. "

Now THERE is a statement that is proven wrong every hour of every day.

    "We are not our own."

    Of course we are.

    What an absurd statement.

I do not sell myself to anyone.

  • @Imaginefree69 God created us in HIS image. We are his children and we are to treat ourselves as such. This doesn't just apply to christians, it applies to all of humanity whom God created. We rightfully belong to HIM yet we "sell" ourselves to Satan for temporary pleasures. This is why the bible has also referred to us as being prostitutes.. Selling ourselves to sin.

  • @SavedByGrace00

"God created us in HIS image."

Moses invented YHVH after smoking an unidentified desert shrub.

He based this new god YHVH largely on the Pharaohic religion in which he was raised and trained.

This newly invented god was needed to give Moses the political authority to lead the Hebrews on a blood-soaked orgy of rape, pillage, and genocide after they robbed the Egyptians.

There is NO evidence for the existence of your Imaginary Friend, and no excuse for forcing his laws on others.

  • @SavedByGrace00 "God is a God of love' Why are you spraying religious clichés? "God also suffers along with the sufferer." Such fary tales. Do you have any evidence for this childish claim? Of course not. In fact, the Bible says the very opposite. Your "god of (ha, ha!) love" delights in human fear and suffering. Your god says "I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh" Proverbs 1:26 It's a good thing he's just a fictional sadist rather than a real one.
  • @Imaginefree69: Wow, good way to take scripture out of the original context which was studied and assigned by the church.

  • @RockyBalboa211 Way to make an accusation with no supporting evidence. Allow me to invite you to make a rational adult response; If you think I have posted an error, please identify the error and then, using scripture or some valid evidence, correct it. Anything less is merely childish name-calling. And BTW, the church lacks the authority to "assign scripture." According to conventional Xian doctrine, the church is to be guided by the scripture, not the other way around. Try again?
  • @Imaginefree69: Scripture guides the church, yet the church gives the correct meaning to the scripture. I'm Catholic, and I believe that the Catholic Church has sole authority in stating what specific part of scripture actually mean. This is the reason I am not a Protestant. Proverb is describing the ultimate divine justice of God. God is perfect love; he has perfect justice. Those who defied God and those who mock God, will also receive the same treatment. The justice (God) mocks the injustice.

  • That is his god damned choice. I don't need fuckers like him telling what I cannot do to my own life. May he die in pain and agony as he chooses for himself. Just another brainwashed religious nut who want to control your life and mine. I will be seeing him in hell one day and running the show...........

  • Great for you sir! If you're still alive and you wish to continue your life then I sincerely hope that you do! However, just as you should not be denied the right to live, other should not be denied the right to a dignified death. Allowing assisted suicide in no way forces you to choose it. But for those people who feel fulfilled in their life and wish to bring it to a close on their own terms, you have absolutely no right to stop them.

  • Lets see. Instead of just not using assisted suicide, let me make sure no one else can. Fucking idiot.

  • I wonder if this guy is dead.

  • Whatever, why can't a person have the freedom to choose his own death in such a situation? & wait just another month or 2, this man won't even be able to speak anymore so how would interact w/ friends & family???

Btw, the news reporter facial marks tells me she is lying at 2:50-3:00.

  • "A mighty task", ohhh... so mighty. No wonder this bullshit is coming from Fox News.

  • He is not in GREAT pain. Like others.

  • he might not be in pain, but what about those who constantly live in pain and may not have the support of family and friends that he does."turning doctors into killers",that is such bullshit, killers are coldblooded, these doctors are the exact opposite and relieving people of pain that is not going to go away

  • Hate to sound insensitive: but this guy is already dying and isn't in pain, what extra value does his opinion have to warrant a T.V. interview?

This is like asking a guy with no arms to talk about the evils of wheelchairs.

  • God gave us a soul to test on in life, it's not ours, but his. We don't have the right to Murder it. When you rent a car from a rental car agency, you must return it in good condition. Same applies for the soul.

  • @adidasbros Now that would be a decent enough arguement if there was any proof of thig god existing or proof of souls. And if god wants a soul returned to him in good condition he can just will it to be so. Hes omnipotent. Also how is the taking of your own life destroying your soul? How does a physical action destroy/damage a super natural being/entity?

  • What a brave man.

  • That is nice for him whos got a wife to take

care of him plus he has no pain.

I have started a living will no machines,

no feeding tubes, do not resuscitate.

    I live in unbarable pain.

  • Isn't that nice...he has a disease that does not cause a lot of pain..good for him..now how do you think he would feel..if he was under torture by a disease like cancer which is very painful...This is his choice. My choice would be an appt with Dr. Kevorkian!

  • This is his choice. My choice would be an appt with Dr. Kevorkian!

  • wonder what he would be saying if he was in constant pain.

  • ok? shut the fuck up? the innocent human being? he wants to die, he doesnt wanna deal with pain (there weak little bitches, i accept pain in full idc how much it is i welcome it) and i been shot in the leg (thank god it wasnt 4 inches higher ) ( O.O ) was the last time i ever hunted. but still. let them do as they please, other wise they will talk about wanting to go hunting one last time in there life and boom, now we have to clean the fuckers brains off the wall......
