She's so great! Everyone here should watch The Rugg Brothers video on youtube. They made a video kinda like Julia's. If you like her, you'll like it. I like it, and I want everyone to see it, haha
In my obsession with the guitar I always scorned the ukelele - though julia here shows me that it allows her voice to shine through so much more since she tends to sing at lower registers than most females doing the "me and my stringed instrument" combos.
he probably said that about you being related to the creator of ukulele, because the man who took the portuguese woodworker ukulele to Hawaii was named Manuel Nunes.
LOL. Julia, did the guy really talk to your mother? My theory is that since he doesn't know the difference between a computer/internet and television, that he also doesn't know the difference between a mother and a figment of his imagination.
she was looking for the chords (on pieces of paper) she put in her pocket to throw to someone who went to the workshop a couple hours before the show. im guessing she forgot what pocket she put it in =]
im sorry, i didnt notice she did it at the very end too. she was probably trying to figure out if she had to leave the uke plugged in for the next person or unplug it and take it with her. which ever one suits your question haha
the cord was her's and she was trying to decide whether to leave it or unplug it right then. She decided to leave it for her roadie, Kyle, to retrieve... which he did.
