@yoshiman76 I don't think it does m8 :( i think nintendo discovered the glitch around teh time they made the DS, so they made a backup sysgtem that instantly resets your game if you turn it off when saving. Sorry D:

Yes this would work. However I think if you did it this way you wouldn't get those other two starters registered in your pokedex as caught though. I can't remember but I thought I saw something like that one time I was really playing around with that trick. But Breeding should fix the problem.....

if you want to do it on heart gold then just get a friends ds, go on his heart gold, start a new game, go to the cherrygrove pokemon centre, and trade the starter to your heart gold.repeat with all the starters.

@xirec1st Yeah i think it does but on crystal, it's much harder. U have to have perfect timimg and it might mess up your game if u dont

works on crystal too... timings different and you have less time to turn your game off before it saves the data

and 1 last thing, this works on crystal also, not just gold and silver... the copy cheat on crystal u had to be more precise with, cause if u switched off to quick or to late u were fucked.

i used to love doing this glitch back in the day... if i knew how to make pokemon vids back wen i was like 13 i wouldve most def put this up... for any OG pokemon players... all it is isdoing the copy code on a new game. so hes not faking this, it really works like this. u have ur starter. save, new game, do all that he said, do the copy code, and it'll b in ur new game pretty much, and do it again till u have all 3.

well I seems pretty awesome and I read the comments and it seems like it will work, but I dont want to lose my awesome team on ss, and I don't think it works on hg and ss.. so can someone tell me if it does? I'll try it on Platinum, even though that's completely different. DOES IT WORK ON SS/HG???

@Abbcozzer no, this glitch does not work on hg/ss or platinum, the reason for that is if you follow the instructions in the discription, u will know that in gold and silver when u put pokemon in the PC it automaticly saves, and thats part of the glitch, but in hg and ss it does not save when u store pokemon

i know how 2 do it on soul silver

get 2 DS

get 2 pokemon games (soul silver/Heart gold and Diamond/Pearl/Plantium)

start game with one, wait till u can catch pokemon, then send 1 of them over

then restart the game AFTER u send them over

then u get another starter

repeat the process, but instead, catch a pokemon and send over ur starter from the other game in place of the one u caught, then u have 2 starters

btw u probley already knew this ._.

@Maneki1993 I'm pretty sure u can breed Your starter pokemon. If one pokemon that's not on your pokedex is a female, you could go to the daycare on route 34 (I think it's on that route) and breed her. Lets say cindaquil is on your pokedex, and todidle is a female, you could catch another water type and breed todidle and the ather water type to make a baby todidle. I'm pretty sure that works.

@megapower10o or just get a Ditto, principally if u have a male starter, then the breed will the non-ditto parent, Always.
