That is an opinion and a very shallow one. For example, all though Im an engineering major, my heroes and the people I truly envy are professors of Religion, Sociology, Psychology, Physics. I love all of those subjects and maybe in another lifetime I will become one since I like to entertain the idea of teaching young men and women about life and people.
Im just majoring in Engineering for a job. Im part Indian, lol. In my culture, we are taught not to pursue our interests professionally.
Well that is your opinion and I have my own. I'll tell you this though, Im from New Jersey originally and came down here to Atlanta for college at Georgia Tech. That being said, let me say this: you would get your neck snapped or have a poll rammed up your behind for saying that shit. Most people of my age in New Jersey have working class parents whom are not college educated- they would take offense. If you're making honest money, work hard and are a good citizen, then you have my respect.
OH, you can do that...........just be full aware that some people won't appreciate that and it may turn violent- like back in Jersey. You should be alright though assuming you can actually defend yourself in time against some "SCARY "minorities. LOL
are you jealous? if it were easy, everyone would be one. CONGRATS to this lady making her dreams come true and working hard, that is what inspires me. Get a life, instead of commenting negatively on other peoples videos. GOOD DAY
Is the HPSP a good idea? Is Family Medicine a competitive field?

Im a Materials Engineering major at Georgia Tech- so I know what it is like to work your butt off.
Second of all, I am not weak and insecure to the point where I let my academics/profession determine my personal worth unto myself.
cdumeohyeah 2 years ago
who ever said anything about insecurities and letting one's academics/profession determine personal worth?

Your previous comment is suggesting that future doctors/medical students are of a superior stance in society than others. THATS WHY.
cdumeohyeah 2 years ago
well duh...but not just doctors...engineers are superior members of society as well.

it may be shallow, but it's hardly correct to argue that a waitress at Applebee's contributes the same to society...sorry but that's just how it is.

get a pole shoved up my behind for exercising my first amendment rights...yeah sounds pretty typical of people from New Jersey.
