Agreed! Nice job Benny. Maybe you folks have also seen this rare video of Elizabeth Logue introducing both the film Hawaii, and a tourism travelog of the islands. Google this and view the youtube video: HAWAII TOURIST FILM 1966 w/ HAWAIIAN film Star Elizabeth Logue
Thanks for so many views. YT has its own way of calculating views. I think they count by the machine (or IP address) not how many time you click on vid. This began when they started putting on advertisements. Be well.
Another outstanding montage of photos and music blended together with your just right touch. Your videos have opened my eyes to the talent that was Gene Tierney. Thanks
Yes, she is such an eye-opener, and her image holds up even after so many years. After an initial disappointment in her first movie, her acting only improved with time and she became more and more interesting to watch.
Excellent You have caught that beautiful innocent persona yet alluring and so tempting in Eve so perfectly played by Gene. Recently on an island off the coast of Africa I believe I found the flower that was copied as Genes hair decoration which Gene so hauntingly removes only to let fall, to be lost in the rippling wave lapping the shore. Then on the return of Eve's lost love Oonlyto be replaced once again with a new one in those flowing waves of Eve's tumbling cascading nut brown hair.
@shanghaibenny2 I believe it was just a way of explanation in a time of ignorance, to explain what could not be comprehended then or to some degree even today, Creation. The thing is we all suffer from Greed, Selfishness, a need to control our existance somhow, it is inherent in our nature however there is also loyalty and sacrifice in an unselfish way inherent in our nature, we are just a lifeform like any other on this rock rolling around in space. Check out the photo in E -Mail
@myriadmutiny It is or a least was up on Youtube, I had it in a playlist and downloaded. Shanghaibennys tributs to Gene were among the first and best I have seen, this one captures Gene particularly beautiful as Eve, in, Son Of Fury A wonderful and underated movie.
Gene never looked lovelier than in Son of Fury, and nor was Tyrone ever more handsome. One of the most gorgeous couples of the screen, and an underrated movie to say the least. This was lovely
@MonroeSmile You're mostly right but I've always felt that Gene Tierney was at her most heartbreaking loveliest in that ridiculous hat in Laura at the moment Dana Andrews realized she was alive.
A tremendous score by Elmer Bernstein. Thanks for posting

Do you know the name of the flower?
Speaking of Adam and Eve, where did we all go wrong? Is the story mere legend; or express an original state of mind polluted by lust and greed?

Yes, everything about it was so underrated; and the anti-colonial message was especially pertinent in 1942.
