LOL I gotta say, for genesis.. i mean...good system however..how many games were ports from NES to Genesis? like alot of capcom games like ghost and goblins... and then the SNES got the real expansions. hehe
Also, the reason that the game wasn't released on cartridge here in the US is probably because Nintendo of America had a licensing agreement with companies that they couldn't put out the same games on competing platforms.
They didn't "release" it.. they distributed it, or whatever... through Sega Channel.
HEY, Note.. if you have the rom you are playing the PAL version and thus it is TOO SLOW. It's not the speed of the Sega Channel version or the Japanese version.
You can skip this by saving a game at the title screen and then with the emulator FORCE USA mode. You will know if it works because the game will start with an error saying its for European countries (PAL) only.
Load that save game and it will work and the game will STILL be in NTSC USA mode and be full speed.
@Sprite37 if it makes you any EVERYONE ELSE here feel better,.. we americans at least got the megaman anniversary collection as well as the X anniversary, while they didn't so HA!
@SNESosT True, but those compilations were kinda weak, they lacked so much content. I mean they had the games yes, but it really didn't do it justice.

Because the game was released as a Sega channel Exclusive. When the Sega Channel died, so too did the US Version of The Wily Wars.

Yeah, it was a Sega Channel exclusive. I was only about 2 years old when it first came out. Oh well, at least we got the ROM.

@SNESosT Yeah..actrually Japan did, its called the Rockman Collection, its 1-8 x, x2, x3, you got it by pre ordering megaman x8 in japan.
