I remember back in the day in Boston. If you were brave and thought you had some chops, you could ask a performer such as George Benson if you could play with him live during a set. That is what I did. I played a black Les Paul during the performance and George gave me lots of opportunities to play lead. We even had a grand finale where we both played leads riffing off each other. The went wild! They loved it. I am so grateful for having that special opportunity to play with Virtuoso G.Benson.
