  • WHAT A 1100 LAPTOP

  • lololol if your use to windows and not use to change ubuntu not your thing because it not windows

  • Ubuntu is a waste of time imo.

  • It was Dell's fault not to say that it came with Ubuntu. I use ubuntu every day and love it alot more over windows. Frankly I dont like windows but need it to play games, because the developers decide it that way.

  • It's her fault for not doing research. Plus if she was really bent on getting windows even though dell wouldn't help her she could've installed windows on it

  • i feel bad for ignorant people...

  • wow retard

  • @CbassTheGreat Ya, Lunix is a retard.

  • I won't blame her for not being able to figure out the new OS, but how hard could it be to do a little web search/find a computer geek friend/call verizon/go to ubuntu forum/etc.....

and to drop out of school just because of that?

My sister had used ubuntu for half a year. She turned out liking windows more. it's perfectly fine at least my sister tried.

This girl is just an asshole.

  • Check out Linux vs Windows videos on my channel!

  • She didn't call her ISP, she didn't call the school, she didn't ask Dell if she could swap out the OS for Windows, but she did call a news station. Pure. Fuckin'. Genius.

  • Guess what OS I'm using? Yup, Ubuntu. Stupid stupid girl, read the details before you purchase.

  • shes not smart enough to use Ubuntu linux., its not the computer!

  • I have a stack of dell Windows disks you can have!! I usually throw them away.. because that's what windows is, garbage... Putting windows on a new pc is like buying a new corvette and filling the trunk full of lead!

  • I installed Ubuntu and it burned my house down and shot my dog!!

  • Well........that girl is a bit dim, isn't she?

Because you can actually convert between word documents and open office with relative ease.

Apparently she didn't even tell the tech support guy she talked to the specific problems she had, cuz then he would have told her how to save word documents out of open office. Which makes her even stupider, if that's actually possible.

  • @pjnlsn Office documents is one of the few things that is complete shit when it comes to converting and whatnot. It can't even convert between different Office versions properly, let alone to and from another Office package.

  • Ubuntu causes girl to fucking learn that she needs to look at the operating system she purchases with her computer. When you fucking buy anything in a store you look at what features it has, why the fuck can't you do that with a computer?!

  • ..............laptops as well as dell suck in general

  • She's f@ken stupid. I do everything in Ubuntu. It's freaken gr8!

  • to be fair, two 3 years ago it was quite a hassle to get connected to internet on ubuntu. With some distros it still is. But usually its because of crappy hardware support from manufacturers, and ISPs that don't seem to realise that people use an OS other than windows. this says less about the OS and more about society as a whole, how it just accepts the status quo, and then calls in 27 News when it all goes pear shaped.

  • @reallycoolman2003 I agree to this... even though my first ubuntu experience was 2 years ago it was a hassle to try and get things to work. Still in the end it was worth it, at least up to the point where I changed distro.

  • @chrnoc I started with various distros in 07, my computer only had 128mb ram though so i couldnt put ubuntu on. I used xubuntu however, it wasnt so much a hassle but it certainly wasnt easy OOTB, But I eventually started using Mepis 6, it was amazing, of course eventually that moved to KDE4 and I gave up on it. My two biggest distros were puppy and antix. Until eventually I had a new computer and started to use Linux Mint. I flicked between Mint and Ubuntu, but now they use Gnome 3 :-o

  • @reallycoolman2003 Three years ago I installed Ubuntu on my Dell and it was fucking great. It found and installed drivers for my wlan and lan. Installed drivers for my touchpad that worked better than the ones in Windows.

I think it really depends on the hardware and the distribution, most hardware just works good and out of the box.

  • @JustineBieberxoxo Indeed, as someone who is on LM12 at the moment, I have to say that it works great, I've even got WoW working, which a year ago on this machine was impossible. One thing that does hold alot of [non-tech] people back is the drivers, which isn't even linux' fault, its the fault of manufacturers. But if you want driver support for machines OOTB then linux is likely to be the OS for you. I also agree about touchpad drivers, my linux ones are superior too.

  • @reallycoolman2003 Drivers are partly linux fault.

Most Windows hardware hide a lot of functionality in the driver(started with winmodems back in the day), serious hardware does not do this. So for certain wlan, chipsets, host-raid, we don't get drivers, and frankly, you should not want them.

For a few things, vga-cards the most prominent, you do want the drivers and the kernel is less than accomodating.

If we just had a single interface for binary hardware that only changed

  • @reallycoolman2003 ..between major revisions, like 2.4->2.6 or 2.6->3.0, it would be much more tempting for graphics to have Windows level vga drivers, something it needs for desktop use. It would also make clear a need for a single rendering infrastructure, right now we have Mesa, DRI, whatnot, we need a single good one.

Companies doing distro's also need to stop hacking up the kernel. It needs to be uniform across all distro's. I can't use what I learn everywhere, ...

  • @reallycoolman2003 ..a big drawback if you ask me.

It just needs that little bit of uniformity across all distro's, a proper driverinterface and one or two fast rendering infrastructures.

This will bring drivers, brings game(r)s, brings the masses.

A system might be 100x better and more manageable, but people need to be able to demo nice sparkly graphics.

  • @JustineBieberxoxo Yes its such a shame, because without uniformity there will be little if no investment. this is why companies like ubuntu are trying to make their distros look different, in order to increase popularity and investment. But sadly with the systems relying on various different operations, [xorg, mesa, gnome, unity, debian] its simply too complicated for financial investment. Which is a plus and a minus, no good games, but lots of diversity.

  • @reallycoolman2003 You can still have a shitload of diversity if you just have a little uniformity.

Just standardise the filesystem layout, config files and API & ABI of the kernel and sound and video infrastructure. That's it.

That way as a dev you can still make dir's if you use links and you can still alter the kernel just not too much.

This is why I welcome Linux Standard Base and initiatives like it so much.

It would of course be a choice to stick to it, as always.

  • @JustineBieberxoxo People can do what they like with their linux distro's. But if people want to support their games on ubuntu, which tries to make itself out to be the sort of everyman's linux, then they can do so.

But excuse me if I'm not sympathetic to the conformist attitude you have.

  • @pjnlsn Conformist? You used that word, not me. Just remember that.

People are not the ones that can or should make their os support games, that's not practical in any way.

Why is Ubuntu the game linux?

Do you even know what I talked about?

  • @JustineBieberxoxo Conformism is what you're talking about. Don't tell people they need to do only certain things with their computers.

If a game developer wants to support linux, then let them just choose a particular distro and support that. All linux is more alike than it is different.

  • @JustineBieberxoxo As far as "people shouldn't make their OS support games," who are you referring to?

is it you? Is it like, you perhaps run linux, and when people tell you have to do one or the other thing to make a game work, you just can't handle that? What is it?

  • @JustineBieberxoxo What should happen is that if you run a computer, you should know how it works.

  • @pjnlsn And that includes altering the kernel source and/or writing renderin infrastructures and open source drivers for your vga cards? Get real.

  • @JustineBieberxoxo You don't know what you're talking about. That has already been done by people, who have created open source graphics drivers for linux.

And then graphics card manufacturers have already written and released linux drivers of their own.

All linux is more alike than it is different. The idea that there are huge inconsistencies between linux distros, making it impossible to, say, write a graphics driver, which can only be solved by conformance, is wrong and absurd.

  • @pjnlsn And those open source variants peform poorly and are less stable. Even if they worked properly, there is still an inefficient rendering infrastructure bogging down the whole thing, not to mention the massive overhead from the X-server.

The closed source variants perform better, but work only on selected kernel versions due to the kernel API, and then they are stil stuck with massive overhead from X and a multitude of frameworks.

    I said standards, not conformance.

  • @JustineBieberxoxo Mm.

Can you source any of that?

I don't mean the obvious things, like the proprietary driver is faster than the open source, I mean for linux having massive overheads and an inefficient rendering infrastructure. Compared to other OS's of course, because otherwise it's meaningless.

Lastly, have you actually run linux yourself? Do you run gentoo, perhaps?

Because your confusion could be explained by your lack of experience. Just a guess, I admit, though.

  • @pjnlsn Again, it is you who is talking conformance instead of standards.

Fact is there ARE huge inconsistencies between distro's. One installs every program into it's own folder, the other one only will install from source, another one will only take .deb and put it into /var, the next will do .rpm and put it into /usr/var. This is not doing well for widespread adoption and this is also the case between kernels of some distro's.

The complacent and selfrighteous attitutde about it

  • @JustineBieberxoxo I'm the one using the word, but you're the one advocating for it.

  • @pjnlsn Look up the exact definition of conformism.

  • @JustineBieberxoxo Mm.

I just thought you were going too far in your first comments. The manner in which you suggested standards be imposed sounded a bit sinister. Just saying.

In any case, the more pertinent issue is whether you are speaking from personal experience with linux, or something you read.

Like I said, laughable to suggest that installation location inconsistency is a grave problem.

  • @JustineBieberxoxo And as far the portability of nVidia's driver, while your suggestion was not that absurd, I don't know any reason why it'd be true.

While you can recompile the linux kernel to any from you wish, the module interface remaines constant, and, since linux is open source, you can always compile the module against a specific kernel.

  • @JustineBieberxoxo nvidia's linux driver, as of now, in fact is packaged with an installer script with automatically compiles it's own interface against the kernel header files. The header files, incidentally, have standard locations.

A monkey could install nvidia's driver on practically any linux.

  • @pjnlsn from people like you is not helping it.

If all distributions are so alike, give me an example of how to install nVidia drivers on Gentoo and then installing the same driver(same version!) on a Debian box.

    Show me.

And the driver is only a a part of the problem as I already clearly explained.

  • @JustineBieberxoxo We can talk about your issues in more depth after you answer the question below, but for now I'll just say that I it's laughable to suggest that installation location inconsistency is a grave problem.

  • What a fucking retard. HURRRR INTERNET NO WURK. HOW DO I LIBRE OFFICE? HURRRRRRRRRRR.

  • "Dell said, 'it's too late to go back to windows"

    fucking what.

  • I'm missing the sad music and black and white recordings of her crying......

    most crappy news item... ever.....

  • "Her life was supposed to get easier with this new DELL laptop."

    "DELL."

    "D."

    "D:"

    thers ur prolem

  • The problem here is obviously IQ related and has nothing to do with Ubuntu. My kids have been using Linux distributions for several years now and my oldest is only 11.

  • she should stick with prostitution

  • all my rage

  • I think I got a bit dumber watching this...

  • @SomeGuyInSandy I tend to agree

  • @TheShowThatSUX And you guys complain about Apple forcing user experience and sheltering users... Perfect example on why Apple does what Apple does. The good always will suffer for the bad... And she is the majority speaking. My Macbook pro caused me to fall into massive debt, sell my house, lose my car, sell my child on the black market, and raffle off my dog... Fuck this shit, im going with Vista....

  • @davidhamann0606 lol ya that is about right. I see why the out of the box at Apple is the way it is. But what I will never understand in Macland is what is wrong with letting an end user change the defaults. Users who would do so know what they are getting into.

  • wow

  • "her life was supposed to start getting easier with this new dell laptop"

    first world problems

  • Imagine the anal devastation Richard Stallman would have if he saw this video, VideoGames are not even an excuse now.

  • @SomethingRules Learn some English, retard - he said:

    "What a huge hassle"

That's what LiEnucks is; a bloated piece of bug ridden garbage. 1% usage share since it's a piece of obscure garbage that only low life fucked up nerds use.

  • @BattlePikeQueerLucy lol i don't give a fuck about this stupid nerd shit dawg, i was just making a joke. quit getting mad at the internet

and yeah i realize he said hassle

  • @BattlePikeQueerLucy you can slob on my cock!!!!!! you get my english now????

  • I'd love to see what she would do with Arch.

  • I have both Windows & ubuntu and ubuntu works fine... What I can't believe is the fact that she bough a DELL computer, I hope she ends up homeless on the streets because that's what she deserves for being a dumb bitch

  • I hope this person is not going to college to get a teaching degree of some sort because she would literally make the people shes instructing lose IQ points.

Seriously, why wouldn't someone just go BUY Windows from their local electronics store if they can't use Ubuntu? >.> I mean hell the nearest Best Buy or Staples can't be more than 100 miles away.

OH WAIT! Now that would be COMMON SENSE! We just CANNOT have any of that, now can we?

  • @xCr00k3Dx >Implying my teachers weren't hardcore Christians that taught me cartoons are demons, dat loli is such demon yo.

  • What a crazy story.....I can't believe this helpless bitch called a TV station for something like this... LMAO! I mean - shit - why not just call the police...? Fuck, dear: install Windows. Download a copy, if need be..... You've gotta be kidding me......Ubuntu has ruined her life! How fucking crazy.

  • LOOOOL!!! wtf is wubantu hahahaha

  • Rofl I must say and after reading all these comments all of them make me laugh as well. Unbuntu is one of the easiest if not the easiest Linux box to run. Open office > Word anyday. Also it would have been funny if she got a slack box instead of Unbuntu

  • Ubantou

  • I've been running Gentoo Linux for 7 years now, and have not looked back. Any Windows apps I just run then in VIrtualbox.. I know Ubuntu community can helpful, and should've just asked around the Ubuntu forums instead of calling the news station..

If our future depends on students like these then I guess it's safe to say that our economy is going to get worse as these morons enter the workforce.

  • What a crock of SHITE - It's expensive being stupid!! No way she spent $1100 for THAT dam thing. Maybe I should call up the local TV station and complain that my new BlueRay won't pick up the local f'n news...

  • I think I should drop out of college... The Operating Systems I have are Ubuntu 11.10 and Ubuntu Studio... GO LINUX!!

  • She wants to use MS word? Isn't she aware that Libre/Open Office is compatible with Microsoft Office?

  • Lol Mainstream media ignorance at its finest.

  • MATC? Madison Area Tech College?

  • @815Sox

Yeah. This was from 27 news in madison.

  • dumb bitch... ever hear of "save as" or "export" dumbass

  • $1100 my ass. I wouldn't spend over $400 on any Dell. And the only reason the poor girl had so many problems is because she was thrown into using Ubuntu without knowing anything about it. It's more stable, smoother, and all around better of an Operating system. Open office is GREAT! I used it instead of buying the stupid Microsoft office for school. Internet works fine on Ubuntu if you know how to set it up and turn it on. This news cast looked more like an attempt to turn people away from Linux

  • Next they say she spent $1100 dollars on THAT. Give me a break. Seriously, she could have gone down to the local best buy or walmart and spend allot less for a computer to do what she wants to do,and it would have her precious Windows (which is complete shit)

Seriously, did she not read what she was buying before buying.

This is obvious set up from Microcrap to try and knock Linux down a few pegs.

  • Hassle. Open Office IS MICROSOFT WORD COMPATIBLE.

Just type the damn document, and then go SAVE AS, select Microsoft Office from the drop down box and SAVE. The to open it, just do the same as any other application.

As for the internet, who the fuck needs a CD to get online (sorry I am from Canada and we don't have such things. Our ISP's either hook a wire up to computer or set up a wireless modem and then it's as easy to set up in Ubuntu)

  • Dear Abby, Here is your cheque as we agreed. (Hope it helps with your college fees!) Yours Truly,

    S. Ballmer

  • I admit I prefer Windows because I'm used to it, but Linux Ubuntu is an extremely solid OS. It's making the switch that is a hassle, especially when you have specific hardware that isn't always supported by Linux. I mean, just to get my 5 buttons on my mouse to work exactly how I wanted, it took a lot more effort on Linux then on Windows because the manufacturer doesn't supply Linux drivers.

I can understand this girl when she just wants to focus on school instead of on learning another OS.

  • @megalodonNL when was the last time you used ubuntu. she was using a 2007 version of ubuntu. ya if she would have gotten a new ubuntu laptop now days it would be easy plug in the verizon card pick the simbol click click click done. almost all drivers included if not hook ethernet up to a router. it automaticly downloads all most all drivers. compaired to windows ubuntu/linux distros. does this job much better than microsoft has ever done. lots has changed in the last year on driver support

  • @goochbuntu

    Last year.

Some things are easier in Ubuntu, yes. Less easy was:setting monitor resolution, setup 5button mouse, specific (audio producer) hardware and problems with certain games in Wine.

Still, I might install Ubuntu (dual boot) again sometime. For surfing and mailing and text editing it should be very sufficient for anyone and the best of all: no bloatware (that's why I built my own pc's and never buy complete system in a store). Win7 is a great OS though.

  • LMFAO

  • i wonder how much they were payed to bash linux

  • It's pronounced oo-boon-too. Not oo-bun-too

  • @TheUberAtheist I pronounce it as oo-bun-too.

  • @KnucklesARouge Ubuntu, the word, is actually an African proverb... it means "I am what I am because of who we all are."

  • @TheUberAtheist i pronounce it the way mark shuttleworth does

  • @goochbuntu The way she says Ubuntu was supposed to be the actual way to enunciation it (obviously that's not the case now). It's funny how he is saying she needs to work on pernunciation; it shows how much he knows. :)

  • this poor girl needs to get some computer knowledge before she buys computers on line, that's for experts

  • "and like, I only know about barbie dolls, and like, iPods and stuff."

this is such a bullshit news story, almost as bad as all of the plugging they do for crapple and that fucking iPad crap as if it is something new

  • Those reporters are more non-educated that that user.

Note that user were ABLE to continue schooling AND using OpenOffice/LibreOffice AND Internet in no time after this.

So basically, everything worked for this girl but she just wanted to drag about it on public,

and she got Cheaper laptop with ALL software for free and licensed.

Quite sounds like Whole story is not true due to misunderstanding that is media-exaggerated

  • I wonder how much microsoft paid for this hatchet job?

  • Wow... I never thought someone could so stupid and unable to figure out how to use their computer. For the years I have been on linux I never had that much of a problem.

  • @Laogahn EXACTLY lol this chick is just retarded as hell.....oh wait......she's a blonde lol

  • This chick is fkn retarded lol. I never in my life had a problem with Ubuntu. No more than I would in windows. This girl must not know how to use google and reaserch, because if she did she wouldn't be complaining.

How much you wanna bet Microsoft paid them to make this up and broadcast? How far Ubuntu has come along and how it is out performing windows and os x.....it wouldn't suprise me at all.

  • While this story could have been a story about how shitty Dell's customer service is, instead it focused on Ubuntu being a crappy OS. That is why I hate the news.

Dell can handle their customers and everyone else takes the blame.

  • she should be shot..... LINUX OR GTFO!

  • if she ever comes in-front of me i am gonna kick her ass, bitch!!

Ubuntu 7.10 had open office :/

  • Comment removed

  • Let's sell her a computer with Arch or better yet Slackware and see what her reaction would be. TEOTWAWKI

  • What a joke! Ubuntu is so much more powerful than windows...

I do not have windows machines at home, only LINUX!!! And four of them! No big money sucking windows constantly updating and so highly virus prone operating systems for me!!!

No need to have to pay for a third party software to protect from viruses like windows makes you...

  • This girl has obviously never heard of Wine. She also obviously has no idea how to use Ubuntu.

  • Lol, can't go back. What a dumbass. Usual Dell support.

  • hard hitting journalism

  • She is a dumb bitch & shouldn't be on the net.

  • @00zian00 Amen.

  • Too late to switch to windows you say? Bullshit

  • >choose open source option

    >complain that computer comes with open source

I'd like to complain about my Mac, I ordered it but it didn't arrive with windows, can I be on the news please

  • clearly she doesnt know how to use UBUNTU because ubuntu is awesome

  • WHAT. A . DUMB. SHIT.

  • Wow. This is sad. This girl is retarded. I run Linux and it's better you dumbass. Why is this on the news?! WTF

  • >purchasing a shitty dell

    >not making sure that it comes with windows

    >not purchasing a copy of windows

    >can't figure out how to get internet on ubuntu

    >dell shit support

    >call a local news station

Oh yeah, she'll do well in school.

  • @TheGNUfan >2011

  • @TheGNUfan Her talking sounds like she is drugged.

  • @TheGNUfan

May the rage be with GNU.

  • WAT IS REIMAGING I AM NOT GUD WIT COMPUTUR O GOD/////////////1111111

  • Yes because Microsoft Windows in the only operating system in the world and the less like Windows your machine is, the worse it is. I like there thinking. It's absolutely terrible that Windows CDs that she puts in her computer don't work on her operating system, Windows can open files from any operating system and the fact that MS word would not install on her system is just ridiculous, it's not like libreoffice or open office can open MS word files

  • Stupid.

  • actually there are a lot of people that are trained into thinking windows just always works without problems so I can see her calling dell back but not a news channel ??? wtf. dell appears to have dropped the ball with their tech. support, they should easily have been able to help her get up and running for web stuff at the very least. then again maybe they were under orders from ms NOT to help anyone with a ubuntu laptop

  • Unfortunately this represents most people I know. This is clearly a set up against open source. Humm not much re-learning necessary here. Minus all of the flashy windows buttons zippers and garbage. Ubuntu has 99.9% compatible user needs for school out of the box -DRM,OLE. Office -> through Openoffice org or libreoffice, including power points, and many more. There is no problems connecting to online courses either. I got an A on MS office class with no effort using Ubuntu/open source software.

  • Dudes lay of of her...

The girl did not want to spend time learning a new OS, she wanted to get on the Internet and take on-line courses. She is not a techno-wizard, does not know where to turn for - are even that there is tons of help for her. She wants to take on-line courses! I don't blame her. If she went with M$ Win and when she like a lot of us get tired of BSODs crashes that give no helpfull info, and vague support. That is when Linux starts to look nice. I am 6 yrs full time linux

  • LOL! Wow. That's all I can say to this one. Ubuntu FTW. ;-)

  • What the hell is so difficult in saying Ubuntu? It's Ooboontoo, not iubantyu. Now I wanna see if they can say Gentoo, lol

  • this girl has a negative QI coefficient...

  • holy shit... this actually was in the news? o.o

  • how do i remove Lubuntu ?

  • Openoffice is fully compatible with office, And it's verizons fault, not ubuntu that they didnt make a driver for her wireless usb. That said just go buy a copy of windows you noob.

  • This kid needs to go back to Kindergarten. She doesn't even have basic commonsense. Why not learn how to use ubuntu? anyway that is not how you install windows. Put in the CD then reboot.

  • lmfao, this girl is an idiot.

But nice of the news guy to help her, I guess.

  • Comment removed

  • Too bad they didn't send her a slackware laptop.

  • News headline:

    Microwave causes toastless breakfast

In Michigan yesterday morning a woman thought she was buying a toaster yet instead she bought a microwave. We were touched by her touching and tragic story that has greatly affected her life.

The small mistake caused 2 toastless breakfasts in a row. This has caused her husband to leave her and her two kids into a drug addiction.

This message was sponsered by toaster corporation.

  • Try looking at what your buying next time, don't blame Ubuntu cause you bought the wrong thing. Also, Ubuntu isn't exactly a difficult word.

  • She couldn't connect to the Internet? ... was her wireless router on because the connection is made automatically!!! Did she even know how to TURN ON her computer?

  • OMG! How did she pass college entrance exams? So, so sad.

  • I think it is equally as much of a "facepalm"-moment when she can't use Ubuntu, as to listen to these newa guys haveing no idea of what they are acctually talking about. They are just reading off the text-to-read-monitor infront of them, written by someone with as little knowledge aswell. And as so many have said: The newsreaders' pronounciation of "UBUNTU" is horrible. That is al least the one thing the girl gets correct. :P

  • Before subscribing to a college she should learn to read descriptions of online offers. She just made her choice wrong. If she has no idea about technology, she should have asked someone. And no matter if Windows or Linux: Who the hell needs a CD to get online?

  • *Faceplam*

  • Hey I'm gonna go buy a banana

    Bananas: $2

    Pears: $1

Oh cool a pear flavored banana! It's cheaper as well!

Wait what the fuck why does this banana taste like pears?

  • 1. They're pronouncing it wrong.

    2. Dell's webpage allows you to buy a computer with Ubuntu or Windows. Ubuntu PC's are cheaper.

    3. OpenOffice DOES open microsoft office documents.

    4. Ubuntu includes a utility to utilize verizon networks. without the need for addon drivers.

    5. If Ubuntu somehow can't access google.com with FireFox (used on windows as well), try connecting to the internet in the first place.

    6. Try Wine.

  • @proxythe1337 She did try point 6... But the spelling she tried was "whine."

  • @Cephalus00 You, Sir or Madam win the internet.

  • what dell said "What the fuck why did she buy it with ubuntu instead of windows if she wanted windows"

  • haha they make fun of her pronunciation when they're the ones pronouncing it wrong

  • This is awesome lol! Stupid people... Now Ubuntu gets bad press because of dumb people.

  • Only in ameri-cra!

  • did someone tell her sudo rm -rf /bin???? she can pay me 25000 for a 50 dollar bat house and ill give her tech support.... ie a link to my threads on ubuntu forums and a reminder to RTFM before you call the local news.....

  • $1,100 for a laptop loaded with Ubuntu sounds pretty steep to me. But I use Ubuntu and it works just fine.

  • -_-

  • Use WINE and Ubuntu runs fine.

  • What a fucking humiliating video.

  • "my setup CD isnt working"

MA'AM STAY CALM WE'RE SENDING THE SWAT TEAM IN

  • Stupid girl, Ubuntu is easy to use. I think she needed an excuse to stay out of school.

  • trololollllllllllllllll

the only problem is the customer. should have chose the OS before ordering!

you make a product that is idiot proof, and god makes an improved idiot!

  • That was one of the most excruciating videos I've ever seen.

  • so buy a copy of windows and hit next a few times, fucking stupid people.

  • Stupidity causes girl to drop out of college

She then went to protest at wall street with all the other stupid hipsters who blow their money on iPads and designer clothing

  • "but it is not windows and what works on windows doesn´t always work on ubuntu"

    Pure Genius...

    Yeah...

    It´s sarcasm...

  • LINUX WAS NOT THE PROBLEM!
