  • McCain just can't seem to understand Whoopi's question, therefore, he never could answer it. Like another viewer said, thank god for Obama.

  • I agree with McCains views on economic issues, but strongly disagree with his social issues.

  • Liar. "You cannot serve both God and Money."

  • bible books of Daniel and Revelation speaks of 7 world powers-USA being the 7th. (need help understanding? let me know) also speaks of an 8th king-UN being the 8th- this king would appear then go into an abyss, then reappear.(Rev. ch. 17) hence-the leauge of nations-then later as the united nations. UN in the bible is viewed as "the disgusting thing" standing in a holy place. why? because only God can bring about world peace-yet mankind looks to the UN for that purpose.

  • g-d is not on the USA's side hes on israels side

but he did bless this this country because they have some sort of respect for christianity

  • jeremiah 10:23 'it does not belong to man, even to direct his step' jesus also said "my kingdom is no part of this world" the world is in laalaa land because the scriptures say the devil has 'blinded the minds of the unbelievers'

  • jesus had nothing to do with politics! he was preaching and teaching about god's will comming and finally destroying all man made governments!! so sad that people believe in the united states and the un, and whats more that god has their backing. matthew 6:9-...Daniel 2:44

  • disrespectful nigger

  • We should allow GOD to lead us about how to run the US and PRAY for those who lead us!

  • "In god we trust"

Wasn't this phrase institutionalized in the 1950s, no where near the founding fathers?

The founding fathers were skeptics and deists.

  • ...skeptics and deists and more traditional Christians, who chose to infuse much of our gov't w/Judeo Christian values/principals. Alot of Judeo/Christian symbols are carved/engraved on buildings in the capital.

  • where do you think Obama gets his values?

    Christianity.

  • "where do you think Obama gets his values?"

From the free thinking mother that raised him so diligently, and his liberal grandparents who took over from there.

  • Mccain is prolly not a bad guy but you can tell he is just so out of touch with the majority of americans. If he and Palin were in power boy o boy would we be fucked. Repubs stole votes again and they still couldnt beat obama. I wish Ron Paul was our president tho.

  • The problem is these new radical christian groups founded in the 60s are sects and have nothing to do with christianity of old Europe. Luther never would have created such sects. Nor the Pope. Phantasie stuff created by the US.

Luther would have created proper bible shit that no one would follow. But this airy fairy abortion and homosexual stuff

is just so dumb scape goating and has led the whole US in complete ruin. The whole US society is split in radical Boxes. Thank you bible.

  • Yeh you are right, Mccain talks about separation of church and state but somehow he managed to pickup every single evangelical vote...interesting!

  • Whoopi's great. Get over it losers - you lost.

  • Whoopi Goldberg is an uneducated douchebag. She really needs to apologize to John McCain for that statement she made about reinstating the institution of slavery in the US.

  • T91 - McCain said something stupid and Whoopi called him out. Simple. Thank god for Obama.

  • Aman to that... lol

  • The following is in excerpt from a Letter written by Abraham Lincoln to a mother that lost 5 sons to the Civil War:

'I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.'

  • i think having a debate over the best flavor of soup with Whoopi Goldberg would still make my brain bleed.

    I can't even begin....

Whoppi ought to focus more on the separation of head from ass more often.

  • to those of you who want to ban abortion... go get raped by your father or step father and tell me you wouldnt get an abortion. in my opinion a life in progress is worth more important then something that hasnt been born yet.

  • "In my opinion a life in progress is worth more important then something that hasn't been born yet."

    Something? You mean to say...

"In my opinion, a life in progress is worth more than a life that hasn't been born yet." An unborn child is not a "something"

Said in another way, you mean:

"In my opinion a life that hasn't been born yet is worth LESS than a life in progress."

    Weird

And by the way, an unborn child is a new life in progress. Otherwise you'd never wear a condom.

  • Abortion is wrong.I hear Christian people saying this yet they think nothing of wars murdering others and the death sentences.

  • I hate war, but the difference is that a child is the most innocent thing on earth never did anything to anyone, and if war goes as planned the only people who die are those volunteering to die for their children's future, and those that threaten the American way of life. Calling the act of killing terrorist murder is silly when they would cut an american's head clean off if they could, no matter who they were solely because they are from the USA.

  • mywifesucks - don't be naive. Children & 'innocents' die every day in war.

  • There is a difference between the call for justice for a better world and the use of murder for the selfish need. War is sometimes necessary, it always has been in history. Is it good no, no one likes war. Every life is precious, the difference is in choice. A baby can not defend itself. Through all the millions of children murdered through abortion, imagine who they could have been if born.. and how many could have made a difference to change this world and make it better.

  • ummmm. yes it did.

  • I am so sick of hearing about how this country was founded on Judeo-Christian values...and the "In God We Trust".....that wasn't part of the foundation of our nation..

  • america actually was found on christian values. why don't you read the declaration of independencce? if it wasn't found on christian values than we wouldn't be sworn into office by the bible. duh!

  • These days, there are few rewards for critical thinking. McCain may come across as a humble man, but many of his ads are an arrogant insult to the intelligence. If you were to see a TV ad charging that a politician supported "comprehensive sex education" for kindergarten children, would you (1) believe it, or (2) very much doubt it? The authors of the ad spent big money in a bet on the credulity and unquestioning thinking of the viewership. Ask yourself what such an ad believes about us.

  • I kinda agree with sara, I don't care if you crucify me. And I'm not a rep OR dem. -I think both mccain and obama should be asked hard questions but this whole thing seemed like a row of booby-traps to me...there was however a "no hard feelings" ending which warmed my heart to a degree.

  • Obama is in serious trouble. He thinks he is running against Palin!Even Democrats are saying he needs to worry aboutMccain.Obama, the

media, news papers & especially MSNBC have given Mccain-Palin a 20pt jump with white women.Even Bill Maher said last week that Chris Mathews & company want to have sex with

Obama.Add Obama thinking he was safe to say

what he really thought about undereducated Democrats in the days of youtube & cell phones

he has canceled out all the new young voters!

    IDIOTS!!

  • it's clear if maxxxccain wins the vote thas mean that america is no longer a democracy land

  • I don't really understand what the big deal about abortion is. Why can't people just accept a pro-life viewpoint for themselves and let others do what they want?

I consider myself pro-life because I would choose life, but I am also pro choice in that I think others should be able to decide for themseleves.

I guess people just can't accept others making their own decisions.

  • that was put very nice i agree

  • I agree too! I don't get why people must attack others for their beliefs... I have two kids and wouldn't choose abortion for myself - but I also wouldn't force a woman to have a baby she didn't want or couldn't care for.

  • whoopie is a whoopie - shit

Mccain is the macdaddy pimpdaddy! he's the man!

    Mccain08

  • we have found the most uncool person in the world. please never attempt to sound hip again

  • Excellent questions, someone finally asked about theocracy. He never awnsered it. They will try to impose their religion on the rest of us. Roe v Wade is only the tip of the iceberg. Thank you Whoopie, you are an intelligent woman , unlike the choice for VP.

  • Hollywood self righteous baby killers

  • Look at how unconfortable this guy is. We want this guy to be our leader? How can we expect him to govern all of us as well as meet with leaders of other nations.

  • Maybe you should go & be a POW !Torture the hell out of you ! One thing for your Liberal

weak ass would have some respect for him & i

guarantee you wouldn't have turned down being

released.Obama would be a joke he has never been in the Military! He disrespected General

Patraeus he went to Iraq with his mind made up

& even gave a speech before he went. But,yet

Obama wants to have a unconditional meeting

with Iran & i bet he listens to them and cares about their terroist lunatics opinion!

  • Obama has not disrespected McCain at all but held his service to the military in high regards. You have to understand that both of these men are running for the president of the United states so they need to be asked questions not just questions that will make there position look good but the ones that dont as well . It seems to me that you are saying that because McCain served in the military and he was a POW that he should beable to get a pass on questions that the voters want to know about

  • What i am saying is Mccain knows 1st hand everything about war.He will not send anybody

to war unless there is no other choice! He is against torture. He was not the 1st choice of Republicans. He had poked his finger in our eye 7yrs!He is a maverick & has the record to prove it.Obama is suppose to bring people together & not old politics. That is a flat out lie he has never gone against his own party! There is no way in hell Obama learned to unite from his mentor & spiritual

    advisor Rev G-D Wright!

  • Once again you were saying that he was being disrespected about him being a POW . Fact is that he has not been disrepected at all in reference to his military career . Th e reason I take issue with this is because all you are talking about is that he is a POW and that should trump everything else in the general election no. The reason why people ask these questions of him because they would like to know where he stands right now on the issues that concern them .

  • Not only the past but we would like to see where he wants to take USA in the future. It dosent seem that you actually look the issues in there totality . The reason why McCain is being asked what his veiw points are now is because he has changed position so I think it is very important as a informed voter that I dont only know about rev. wright , resco or in McCains case that he cheated on his deformed wife with current wife who was a drug addict are not what we as a country need to vote on .

  • I don't believe in John McCain.

  • Oh well he has Elizabeth Hasselbeck's vote, BIG SURPRISE THERE!!!

That should say a lot to anyone thinking about voting for the McCain / Palin ticket.

  • Obama's been in the senate for 8 years. That is a full Bush term. His experience looks FAR superior to Palin's.

  • 11 years as a senator in both State and Congress. Its more experience in government that YOU.

  • Whoopi, shut the hell up!

  • keep your god out of politics, and I'll keep my foot out of your ass.

that my friends, is straight talk.

  • "Do I have to worry about being a slave again?"

How unbelieveably dumb is this lady? Doesn't she realize that a strict interpretationist judge would recognize the 13th amendment, which abolished slavery? It's amazing that these women think that they're smart.

  • amen.

  • John McCain is an idiot! How anyone could vote for him is beyond me. This guy's only path to the White House is to lie from now until the election and hope that Americans are too stupid to see through it.

  • watch the first ever youtube elections on my channel

  • It really is painful to listen to McCain speak. He comes off as a complete moron.

  • Q: Do you believe in the separation of Church and State?

    McCain: (halfheartedly)....sure.....sure....

    Very telling there.

  • ladollyvita,

Sorry to tell you but Obama's campaign is funded by Arabs.

  • Watching whoopi's idiotic line of questioning makes me WANT to vote for McCain! And I'm a lifelong Democrat!!

And I must ask, why is The View a barometer of ANYthing, if they're so good why don't they report about all the CAUCUS FRAUD?!!!

Oh and lastly, maybe if WHOOPI & all the other lame movie stars had SPOKEN UP against gender bias, our party's BEST CHANCE, Hillary Clinton, would be leading McCain by double digits! wa,wa,wa, cry on.

    Signed - PUMAcrat@mcvotedotcom

  • McGoo/Palin wants a Taliban-style theocracy for the US.

  • I wish that they would just answer the question straight out and not play the role of I don't have to give a straight answer...walk around, walk around, walk around the question.

  • God is Real, God is Love, it has nothing to do with Politics. The best vote for our Country's Future McCain/Palin 2008

  • I disagree. I made a ton of money when Bill Clinton was President. And, I still have it. And, you know what, I'll still have it when O'bama becomes President!I lost none of it during the Bush yrs cause I am a smart person, unlike you.

  • God loves Allllllllll people not just rich people

the last shall be first what about the poor ...

Mc Cain or Palin or republican dont care

  • Gods love all people and wants us to care for the poor

McCain /Palin or the republicans dont care

    The Last shall be first

  • Politicians from either side don't care about people, they care about power and will use people to get it. The ones that do care don't get this high up in politics since one has to be corrupt and manipulative.

Anyone who thinks the Left or Right are good guys is incredibly naive

  • God isn't real get over it.

  • Joelomite, hey good comment..now you should vote for McCain and Palin...These candiates have the right fram of mind of chaninging the white house...not some guy who thinks that his God's greatest gift to humanity...Vote McCain and Palin the truth in Accountability and Change

  • hey 3728 that is why McCain and Palin is going to reform the white house not some nut case like Mr.Zero exp who has no idea that you dont rasie tax when the economy is in a recessison.Maybe you should look at the mirror and ask yourself am I from this country? And I should vote McCain and Palin.Just vote for McCain and Palin

  • Vote for them. You will lose any money you have invested in the stock market. Have you ever heard of the stock market? Do you invest money in the stock market? Do you have any money? I do. Bill Clinton made me a rich person. And you know what? Texas is getting hit big time right now by Hurricane Ike. Bush country. God punishes EVIL!

  • egregggarcia3728, you have to appreciate the fact that McCain admits he's imperfect. Obama presents himself as a larger-than-life Messiah with sunshine surrounding him. He's saying "I'm perfect" in a usually smug way. That kind of ego complex WORRIES me. McCain is more genuine and honest than Obama is. He may not have the charisma of Obama, but he has MUCH more strength than Obama...you just have to look deeper..

  • Obviously, your eyes are BAD!!!!!!!!!!

  • Everyone just vote for McCain and Palin

  • Making Insurance More Portable: Americans need insurance that follows them from job to job. Too many job decisions today are controlled by a fear of losing health care. Americans want insurance that is still there if they retire early and does not change if they take a few years off to raise the children. John McCain will lead the reform for portable insurance.

  • Making the Tax Subsidy Fair: By making the tax code more equitable and transparent, John McCain will give every family a refundable tax credit - cash towards insurance - of $5,000 (Individuals receive $2,500). Every family in America, regardless of the source of their insurance or how much they make will get the same help. Families will be able to stay with their current plan, or choose the insurance provider that suits them best and have the money sent directly to the insurance provider.

  • mccain's health care

Families should be able to purchase health insurance nationwide, across state lines.

  • Health Care Costs: John McCain will reform health care making it easier for individuals and families to obtain insurance. Americans are working harder and longer, yet the amount workers take home in their paychecks is not keeping pace because of rising health care costs. An important part of his plan is to use competition to improve the quality of health insurance with greater variety to match people's needs, lower prices, and promote portability.

  • Coordinated Care: Coordinated care - with providers collaborating to produce the best health care for the patient - offers better outcomes at lower cost. We should pay a single bill for high-quality care which will make every single provider accountable and responsive to the patients' needs.

Greater Access And Convenience: Families place a high value on quickly getting simple care. Government should promote greater access through walk-in clinics in retail outlets.

  • mccain's proposal for healtcare

Chronic Disease: Chronic conditions account for three-quarters of the nation's annual health care bill. By emphasizing prevention, early intervention, healthy habits, new treatment models, new public health infrastructure and the use of information technology, we can significantly reduce these costs. We should dedicate more federal research to treating and curing chronic disease.

  • McCain's proposal for healt care

Cheaper Drugs: John McCain will look to bring greater affordability and competition to our drug markets through safe re-importation of drugs and faster introduction of generic drugs.

  • Cheaper Drugs: John McCain will look to bring greater affordability and competition to our drug markets through safe re-importation of drugs and faster introduction of generic drugs.

  • dumbasss women

    go back to school

  • this women are stupid... have no clue of politics or the world...stupid whoppiy get your shit together...Go McCain and Palin...everyone vote for McCain and Palin...he will lower taxes for business, an outstanding plan for health care, and also for the economy.not like Mr.zero ep letz raise taxes and just redistribute money from the rich too the poor

  • Sevenscrolls your nuts. How are we going to pay for your war that we started in Iraq, with a smile? We have to be a stand up nation and put our money were are mouth is and actually clean up our messes. And as for raising taxes... Maybe you are new to this country but when President Bill Clinton left office we were in the black. Thatas rioght we actually had surplus money. Were did your precious republicans get us? In debt, thats were, stupid.

  • How dare you (burningmatchprodctns) say that Democrats are responsible for where we are right now... THEY'RE NOT! It's the responsibility of the administration that has held office for the last eight years! No party is perfect - but Bush, and his cronies are down right STUPID and DANGEROUS! They have done nothing but fuck this country out of it's future, and out of position with the rest of the world.

God help us if these people manage to keep people so distracted from the issues like lipstick

  • John McCain's policies will increase the value of the dollar and thus reduce the price of oil. In recent years, the declining value of the dollar has added to the cost of imported oil. This will change. Americans will have a stronger economy, a stronger dollar and greater purchasing power for oil, gas and food.

  • John McCain believes we should send a strong message to world markets. Under his plan, the United States will be telling oil producing countries and oil speculators that our dependence on foreign oil will come to an end - and the impact will be lower prices at the pump.

  • John McCain will help Americans hurting from high gasoline and food costs. Americans need relief right now from high gas prices. John McCain will act immediately to reduce the pain of high gas prices.

  • Hey, make no mistake, he ain't Jesus okay! The idiot in office is the reason your paying high gas prices. News flash... He is a republican too. John McCain is not a miracle worker baby. He is one man and according to him "imperfect." How then, genius, do you think he is going to come in and save the day?

  • What a bunch of stupid women!! Did Whoopi and her dumb ass mind forget that Obama, who she worships, said in one of his speeches that he wants to be an "instrument of God's will."

What about that, bitch?!! What a disgrace she is!

    McCain/Palin!!!!

  • Your stupid for having to use curse words in order to make your point. Maybe you and all your back water ways can respond with an actual argument.

  • I don't know which was funnier this or Palin's spin-cycle interview. I'm not a fan of "The View",but I do have to hand it to them. They handed McSame's ass to him. What a liar, saying Palin NEVER asked for earmarks. Not true Johnny. It took ladies w/ huevos to show McSame's true colors.LOL..

  • Oh poor John McCain, let me cry a little more for him getting disrespected. Boo hoo hoo.

What a bunch of whiners republicans are lately.

Anytime anyone challenges him they say it's "Disrespectful" because he was a war hero.

Anytime they challenge Palin it's labeled sexist. Boo hoo. poor republicans can't get a fair shake. So so sad.

John McCain is running for president and needs to be asked tough questions. Up til now he's said very little about the issues and just attacks obama.

  • Republicans are the whiners? Democrats do nothing but bitch about whats wrong with the world, and doing nothing to fix it.

  • i agree with u the democrats keeps on bitching about sarah palin. why not just accuse obama for being stupid and petty in not choosing hillary as VP

  • lhoopi is still a slave---- to stupidity , what kind of question was that

  • It was a legitimate question because many of the Founding Fathers were slaveholders. If McCain wants to run the nation according to their beliefs, he needs to address the fact that things have changed since then and that the court was instrumental in some of those changes.

  • Consider that the founding fathers had slaves.

It's not a dumb question at all.

  • these women are idiots especially lhoopi

  • If you are going to call her an idiot, you should probably learn how to spell her name.

  • Campaign to Nowhere Hahaha!

  • That's probably the least you'll need to worry about from either party hombre.

  • I am getting so tired of the bullsh*t coming from the mouths of McCain and Palin. How can so many in this great nation be deceived???? Watch out women, these two are out to take control of your body.

  • Haha, nice, i'm an independent and frankly I don't like either side but I'm also a realist and I really get tired of the liberal "perfect solutions in an imperfect world" thing...I mean everyone starts out as a liberal ya know? Easy friendly socialist solutions...its an easy thing to do, but I can hardly efford food and gas as is, I'd rather keep my money then give it to the gov't so they can hand it out to welfare cases. But thats just me.

  • Well,Bush got my brother killed...take that welfare case. Keep your money....I hope you never feel real problems.

  • Cft619, my thoughts are with you. if I had the chance I would thank your brother for his services to the USA. remember the good times you had with your brother. "to live in the hearts of outhers is to never die"

  • I'm sorry for you'r brother, my brother was in the army for 8 years and served two tours of Iraq with the 101st. He actually served with a friend of mine in highshcool who got hurt pretty bad by a roadside bomb (and two more that were killed). -I don't assume I know whats going on in your life... Don't assume you know whats going on in mine. -Anyway, I don't know what keeping my fair share of tax money has to do with a war thats funded by China's buying of U.S. T-bills.

  • I'm seeing comments of how this was an "onslaught". I saw nothing like that. Liberals like to see things that aren't there, I guess that is why they are voting for a man with an empty record.

  • if these ladies had it their way they'd institute emotions as government policy, bring health care to all the animals in the forest and elect jimmy Carter to be the supreme allied-butt sniffer of the universe...Lame.

  • I gotta hand it to the ladies on The View. They handed McCain his ASS today, man. I fell out. That dumb bastard probably thought that the toughest question he would get was "what did you have for breakfast." I LOVE it! And I love how they SHUT ELISABETH HASSELDOPE the hell up too. If they would do that everyday, I could finally leave my MUTE button alone. What a dummy she is. And in this interview, McCain looked almost as stupid as she does every day.

  • AMEN ON ALL COUNTS!!! :)

  • The only thing they handed him was their ignorance and insult. They wore their behinds on their faces! It was over the top sad!

  • My god he looks incredibly dumb in this interview. Good job asking him tough questions and not letting him off the hook. The MSM could learn a thing or two about how to do an interview from these women.

  • McCain rocks...

  • Give me a break Whoopie....."Do I have to worry about being a slave again?" What an idiot.

  • THe point had nothing to do with whether all blacks were slaves.

The point was that the constitution had to be changed in order for slavery to be abolished so if you are only appointing judges who interpret the original intention of the constitution that might mean a return to slavery.

  • whoa! Who's the lying freak there being whipped into butter by 5 ladies?

  • i love this! they call him on his shit and all the conservatives cry about it. his lies are catching up to him!

  • Whoopi is a card carrying communist who will never come close to being in the same league as McCain. Everything, about this sham of an interview is stacked against John McCain. He makes them look like the losers, and fools that they are.

  • Are you going to keep telling yourself that as American civilization sinks below the tar because too many people like you like being lied to?

  • i can't stand the women of the view. what a bunch of unintelligent, bumbling women who don't know logic. these women, especially joy and whoopi amaze me with how stupid they are.

  • leave it to a room full of a bunch of liberal women to boo the comment "i thought roe v wade was bad decision"..

whoopis comment about slavery was a bunch of bullshit. not all blacks were slaves dumb bitch.

  • But quite a few were slaves, weren't they? Or are you saying that some slaves are an OK thing?

  • LoL look at Whoopi read from her cards from Obama's camp. She is way outta her league trying to debate with this man. She needs to be egged.

  • Liberals are just mad because if anything did ever happen to McCain the repulicans would be the first ones with a female in presidency. lol

Rock on whoopie right back to your white boyfriends ex: Ted Danson

  • Americans are mad because if McCain is elected and anything happens to him we'll have an unqualified, unthinking, liar as president. Personally, I've already had 8 years too many of that.

    Why are you so angry?

  • Rock on Whoopi....down with the arrogant republicans. They don't care about anyone unless you have big money!!!

  • yeah and filthy democrats want to keep the people without money.. without it.. so they..{democrats] can keep winning elections on the promise of perpetual hand outs.

  • Live my life....dead brother in Iraq!!!!! Take that hand out vermiciousk1

  • then vote for ron paul.. no more iraq, no more hand outs, guns stay legal, no wars unless attacked.. lower taxes, fair trade, global communication not bullying, sounds like a good plan to me.. and i'll not take that hand out thank you, you may if you want but it WILL return to bite you in the arse, lest you retire your guard.

  • The wiichick

Your friend is worthless then. And she will have to live with that the rest of her life based on her republican values.

  • republican democrat wiccan jewish christian anthiest .. abortion is fucking disgusting however you look at it.. ESPECIALLY late term and partial birth omg fucking grose .

  • Whoopi is nothing but a worthless drunk. You can see her sorry ass concentrate on her question the entire interview. Why does the View hire such worthless turds to co-host. Who is next the racist Queen Latifah?

Whe the video is posted of John's pow status her and the fat white woman ( I dont know her name but I bet she likes black c#ck) dont even clap for him.

What in Whoopi's worthless alcoholic life could even compare to this man's life. This shows the freedom of america.

    Nobama '08

  • The people on the view were strangers today. Like a feeding frenzy, they attacked, and treated Senator McCain in a raw manner. Not the way they treated Obama. And Whoopi, got out of hand. What a sad and sick implication.

  • Actually, I thought they were able to show a side of McCain not available in scripted interviews. He clearly doesn't like to be challenged and his true colors showed. Kudos to the ladies of the View!

  • Ha, aside from Bill o'reily no one ever challenged obama to any question that requires an answer. they were too busy kissing his ass

  • 5:19' Whoopi's comment of becoming a slave does not make any sense. Supreme court Justices cannot make "changes" to the constitution. How can she credit those changes to Supreme Court Justices and why is she implying that John McCain is going to make further changes through them?

  • go Whoopi!

  • Why is that if you are against abortion than you are automatically against womens rights?

  • How can you be for women's rights and be against reproductive choice?

  • Why is it called pro choice when u attack someone who chooses not to have an abortion. Shouldnt there be equal treatment for both choices. Just because a person is pro choice doesnt automatically mean that she has to get an abortion and celebrate it.

  • thanks for posting!

  • You champions of abortion amaze me. I think I'll be pro-choice too. I'll bet you oppose the violence in Darfur, but think those people should have the choice on whether or not to kill children. Saddam was wrong to feed those people through shredders, but deserved the choice to do so. Or do you think the Nazis were wrong to commit genocide, but should have the choice to choose it for themselves?

  • post the rest of this show please!!!

  • This interview absolutely sealed my vote for Obama, and I agree with the poster who stated that it's weird that it took The View to actually bring out the real McCain. "Roe V Wade was a bad decision??" He wants to overturn women's rights and take this stupid war another 100 years. If he is elected and dies of old age, THEN we're left with a power-hungry "hockey mom" who voted to shoot Polar Bears from helicopters and is against abortion for rape or incest victims! VOTE OBAMA.

  • Or like saying Obama is for teaching 5 year-olds sex ed. LIE. He did not propose, but backed legislation to warn and inform kids about pedophilia. This is the type of distortion they are trying to use to influence peoples decison. It's funny that when the media questions Sarah Palins background,it's SEXIST.Brilliant strategic move on the Republican's part!Barack has had to overcome an almost unsurmountable amount of criticism and scruntiny.Far more than any other electoral candidate in history.

  • It's the same difference. It used to be "racist" to point out Obama's faults.

  • He co-sponsored the bill. and its not all about pedophillia part of it includes teaching sex education to kids the ad is not a lie

  • That fact that people's views can be so vastly different says alot about our society. I like to be as unbiased as possible when it pertains to politics, education, religion, etc. It's ashamed that politicians get in front of an audience and tell falsehoods' purposely. For instance, like saying Obama is for earmarks and Sarah Palin fought them. LIE. Sarah Palin asked for almost 2.5 million in earmarks. Although Obama asked for almost 3 billion, but in comparison to other senators, it is minute.

  • liberals believe in killin babies but not wolves i can never understand that

  • It's not killing babies - it's maintaining our rights as women. Would you prefer that women who do not want a baby for whatever reason - age, economic status, rape - be forced to have a baby they don't want, or worse yet, seek out an abortion in an unsafe manner?

Abortion is horrible, but I'm sure it's not taken lightly and is a painful decision for most women liberal or otherwise who feel it is their only choice. Women deserve the right to make their own choices, whether you agree or not.

  • It IS precisely the choice to kill babies. Glaze it over with choice or "women's rights" but it's death versus life for another person.

Besides, as Americans we don't have the right to kill ourselves, or take drugs or do other harmful things with our bodies. Why should a woman have the right to abortion based on that?

It's on the same level as genocide, justified because it makes life convenient for people who A)cannot afford it or B)don't want it. Rape is a little more understandable.

  • It's not "glazing over" - it's fact. I'm sure republicans aren't immune from abortion either, incidentally. I have a good friend (republican) who had to make that decision and it was very painful for her, but at the time she WAS unable to afford a baby, her boyfriend walked out, and she would have ended up on welfare if she had the child. She is a wonderful person who was put in a horrible situation, and while I wouldn't have one myself, I understood why she had to. But I believe in rights.

  • As a teacher I know of several student who have had abortions, one who had 3. Of course it IS painful for them, they feel guilty for what they did, understandably. I have another friend who gave up her baby for adoption b/c she couldn't care for it. If they are going to do abortions, the people getting them should at least agree to be sterilized after having one. Death to the most innocent of life shouldn't be the means to convenience or to fix a poor decision in the "heat of the moment"
