No, thats the turbo anti lag system turned on, it richens the AFR, and retards the timing so that the plug dont fire till the exhaust valve has started to open so that the engine isnt making power, but the combustion still takes place, just in the exhaust manifold, providing plenty of exhaust gas to spool the turbo up to good boost levels to reduce lag time
