This is what I've been saying all along. BW are socialized to interact with BM the same way that racist whites interact with blacks in general. Both groups are comfortable with BM when they act like thugs, deadbeats, and criminals, but feel threatened when you are intelligent and progressive. Both groups love to blame BM for all their problems, and when they do dirt, they both used the "Blame the black man!" excuse to cover their misdeeds.
The point of White Supremacy being the primary cause of 'Internalized Racism'; which fuels violence, selfishness, and ignorance in Black men, was missed by you. And although it can be an influence on anyone..particularly Black men have been purposely used over & over again. Black Feminism does not seek to redefine the effects of W. Supremacy. I would think that you should understand what has happened and why. Yes! Genius..they are the same..but now tell me why?
@agray77 They're the same because black women believe in the superiority of white men. THAT'S why they're the same. You said all this crap about Black Men being infected by white supremacy and turned a lind eye to black women doing the same.
I did not know President Wilson actual enjoyed this movie at a private White House screening? But fast forward to now, Oprah trumpets 'The Color Purple' as black feminist pulp dogma for oppressed women everywhere. But where is the black man perspective of the real Jim Crow / Reconstruction / pre Civil War era in feature films otherthan 'Roots'? And no one has really really challenged Oprah or other media/advertising outlets on the negative portrayals of the non-celeberty black male.
I have always suspected The Color Purple's blatant anti-black male messaging. But to compare The Color Purple to Birth of a Nation shows innovative insight into todays distortion of black males in media and with women. A very compelling agrument and commentary by TheTruthBearer1 on Black Feminism. Birth of a Nation was one of many films I endured through in college for cinema study and to a lesser degree on racial studies.
What can I say, you're as right as 2+2=4. I've always known that black feminism is the same as white supremacy (how could one not know this, they say the same damn thing, blame the black man for everything while not blaming yourself for anything), but I never once thought to compare The Color Purple to Birth of a Nation until this vid.
And as for Alice Walker she was financed & influenced by white fake wicked Jews to use in so many ways her book to rewrite & reintroduce the racist impact on the image of black males what birth of a nation previously did! no one would question it if it was true or false long as it was coming from a black woman. yes they use our women against us on a daily in the media & in racist Hollywood cinema....
cont... on millions of black women over a 400yr period! lets thank the creator for YT because if we didn't have this medium the black man would still be stuck in the darkness!
When is there going to be a movie made to show what really took place in this country of how white men murdered & rapped black men, women & children on a daily??? & none of it would be fiction because all of there misdeeds were recorded by white, black & european historians in the thousands. but as usual those horrible acts are pushed off on the black male & it is sad that so many of our women participate in this lie conveniently forgetting the beast like attacks that the white male perpetrated
May the Creator Bless you brother! Thank you for this EXCELLENT video response! I really couldn't compliment this essay enough. There are literally no words that can do the proper justice to this level of intellect!
NOW, as a personal request, SPREAD THE WORD, BROTHER!
