Ive always thought that these were wose then the braced Lakewood. The braced Lakewood is still a peice of shit but I always thought that these were worse.
because the fans don't last long... some last 10 minutes, some last longer up to 3 to 5 months, and they quit.... not worth the money to buy these fan that mare made in china..... elcheapos, i got good fans that runs longer.... i still have the vintage all metal fan and it runs perfectly, not a thing wrong with it, if i find a cheap fan in the trash... and barley runs.... ill overheat the motor with a torch and watch it fry as it get hot... oh yea.. add oil to it to get the good smoke from it
I can appreciate a quality fan. I really can. But to just destroy something new and perfectly fine? Why? Im sitting next to a fan that I have had for about 6 years. Its a w a l m a r t special. And its missing a leg, the cover, and its bent. But it works perfectly. What would be the point in ruining something new? Regardless if it was cheap or purchased by you? I really dont understand.
let's just hope the ppl in china that make these crap fans are watching, so maybe it sends them a message that we dont want cheaply made crap we want high quality durable fans like the old vintage fans.

I might make a video about that, ill record myself smashing a cheapo chinese made CRAPfan (thanks kissarmy110936 for that one) and then ill set it on the burn barrel when its going and burn this fan and watch it melt and smoke and burn. then ill say in the video "chinese fan makers we dont want your junk fans we want HQ durable box fans that LAST. speaking of old fans I was over a relative's house and they have an old frigid box fan and it still works but its a little noisy.

What a piece of crap. I bought a couple of the cheap Laskos for the greenhouse and one of them burned up after about 6 months. I'll take my Lakewood P-25 any day!

OMG that fan was cheap! this one seems even cheaper than the ones I saw the last time I looked at them at target. Emerson barely had to put any weight on it and it just snapped! I saw spats version too and it's interestng to see it from another angle.

those lasko's blow ! and i meen in a bad way , i would love to see a new lasko right of of the box battle it out with a old beat up vintage lakewood, probally the lakewood would rip it to shreds if it has metal blades :P
