Viclagoon u r so right, the tv guide came out on sundays and we searched to see what tv show would showcase that beautiful singer named Olivia Newton John, to be back in the 1970's and to relive all those tv appearances, nothing like a good variety show unlike today its all about who did this and that, back then it was about talent and charisma. Oliva had it all
When her Dont Stop Believin' album came out back then ,i was glued and several million others also waiting for her appearance on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and back then we all only had three tv channels man ABC,NBC,and CBS ,sad but true so we all knew when she was scheduled to appear to sing ,like the world was waiting for her .
Holy Mother of God! I am flashing to back age 12 in Atlantic, Iowa public swimming pool and hearing this blaring from the loudspeakers.
I am laying on a towel on the cement drying off in the hot sun and i can smell the chlorine and the taffy at the concessions stand....
