  • it ends too quickly. why are all the best songs less than 3 mins???

  • @yesboss2000 It's longer on her new album Wood and Stone

  • Oh man, a sublime song used in the worst movie I have ever seen....Tara Nevins has a rare gift to connect with your soul when she sings.

  • where in the world can you get a copy of this or download it ???

  • What can I add to what others have said? This rendition tears my soul to shreds.

There is just something incredibly haunting about this recording that I never tire of hearing it. Tara Nevins was born to perform this song. She need never question her reason for living on this planet.

  • I am usually a die hard rock and roll afficionado and love a good horror movie, yet though the movie was barely tolerable this rendition of "Stars fell on Alabama" just tore at my heartstrings! I have many family members, including my parents, who rest in the great state of Alabama and I can see the stars falling across the sky above them when she sings this song. Yes, there is still magic in the world. Thanks, Tara
