This a rehearsal for the original musical of Evita with Mandy Patinkin playing the role of Che.
He was the entire show. Elaine Paige in London and Patty LuPone were both great but Mandy carried the show completely. Antonio Banderas in the movie can't hold a candle to his delivery or voice.

It's not a rehearsal of Mandy Patinkin's performance. Far from it, actually. It's a community theater production in 1986.
