These and other protests which have taken place (by Chinese and foreigners) ought to show China that they cannot stifle dissent even when they devote immense security resources to that purpose.

They need to address human rights issues and begin real dialogue over Tibet and Xinjiang and other areas which do not wish to be governed by China's CCP.

It seems inevitable that things will get worse for all protesters when the world's attention has turned away from China after the Olympics.

Well, you got a mixture of racism and real democracy.

The whole "free Tibet" campaign is simply based on racism.

If Tibet is indepedent, race genocide will happen to Chinese (including Chinese with non-Tibetan ethnic or Tibetans who do not support Dalai) in Tibet.

CCP government do have human right abuse issue, but at least it will not kill pepople for race genocide. While "free Tibet" campaign supporters clearly indicate their racism hatred against Chinese.

Obvious that am not racist and I don't see any problem for other ethnics groups in the case the Dalai Lama takes the power in tibet. Besides the Dalai Lama has abdicated for a long time the independence of Tibet in his "Plain in 5 points."

For Dorje Shugden, the Dalai Lama has always affirmed simply to this praticians not come to him for spiritual teachings. The situation is less strong than as you want to make to believe.
