you are my hero marty. all the cliche complements have been said sir. but u are a fuckin god in my eyes sir and u should be the only man alowed to make guitar lessons on the web cuz there is no one elsee who can teach as fluently or clearly, jst figured i should type this out because u take the time to make all these videos sir. thank you from NY
ya that was cool marty.. b7 i have a book of a million cords it's cool to put cords in these lessons in with the magor shape's and since i love the blues b for me is a big go to note and cord i struggle with it on some keys but since b is a good way to resolve any blues song , it's hard to get out of that funk that is messen around with only soloing and getting back to the notes the way you illastrate is usefull and helps alot..
You play fantastic licks in between but .. too fast to play after !! .. may be if u slow things down a little like the licks u demonstrate .. it'd be coooooooool
Great lesson. your 10x better then my actual techer. one little question, what color is your telecaster? what kind of yellow? thanx so much for all the free lesssons by far the best teacher on youtube!
O Ya , I want that kind of Loving felling.I know More Practice then Practice again

Mr Marty. Are you guy`s in any show`s Anywhere ? Or do you have a web site where We your Fan`s can keep up with where you`ll be playing? This is a cool lesson.
I `m working on it,you made me go to the Books when you stated taking about scales ,But thats Ok. Stay Well Stay Happy & keep it in tune!
Marty...You're the Best Inspiration / Teacher On-Line...Such a Great Player and Much Patience when Teaching Your Ideas / Lessons...Keep 'em Coming...Thanks
Great lesson Marty, this is exactly what I'm looking for; intermediate-ish lead lessons and just great videos on solo-ing. I don't have much guitar theory so this is perfect. Keep them coming!
i love you so much marty, i play guitar and so do 3 of my best friends, they hated there 3 pick up guitars and one of them bought a 5 pick up guitar and thought it was geart, and then when u play blues u use a single pick up guitar something my friends wouldnt touch and put them all to shame,
Thanks Marty. I have the theory DVD set and loving them! Best part is that I can play them over and over again since they are so informative. I learn something different everytime!!
B7 comes from the key of E which contains the chords E,F#min,G#min,A,B7,C#min,D#min7b5,
when you think of that B7 as the tonal center than you could call it B mixolydian although it's still all the same chords. so in "theory" any of the arpeggios from those chords will work over a B7, although some sound better than others. hope that helped.my theory dvd's cover this extensively, thx.

Work with this b7?
i3thrabbit 9 months ago
Marty, theory wise, why does an f minor and an a major appregio
i3thrabbit 9 months ago
@i3thrabbit I should've said "F#min arpeggio"
B7 comes from the key of E which contains the chords E,F#min,G#min,A,B7,C#min,D#min7b5,
