Great player, a great player that needs to feed the bulldog. He's got everything a guitarist could ever want, everything but a great band, great album and a song anyone but a guitar player will remember. He's also a super nice human being. The clams here are an oddity for him. There was a time he was going for it all as a player, like Shawn Lane, but he's too deep into the shred or die mold now to turn back. Glad 4 him and his success, too bad for the musicians that would really hear his best.

rusty looked like he's goint to shit his pants. don't get me wrong. Rusty just gone too far with technique and speed. This cause that everytime he play's song diffrently. he feels diffrent everytime, cause warming up for such song should take about 2 hours of shredding. Shedding could be really annoying and boring when someone plays it all time. But rusty cannot quit. He must promote dean guitars with his songs.

Yeah not only was I sick but I couldn't hear because my ears where popping from my sinuses and the plane ride on top of it. So yeah my performance wasn't great but what can you do you I had agreed to do the clinic and that's all part of the job. You can't win'em all. As for as the solo I improved it because I haven't played the solo like the cd since then go watch any of my performances after the release and they are not like the record.

@MrRustyCooley your technical skill is amazing personaly i stay a little futher away from extremes but do you have a workout routine , because although i almost never aproach your type of playing i want to be able to push myself to these kinds of extremes is there like a dvd you have simply on technique or any advice?, personaly i like progressive metal ex dream theater or fusion for ex guthrie govan but i can't help but respect the dedication you have put into your technique
