I use a thumb for every song...There is an exception for this song...I'd use a finger for the fast parts...but for every song in Tap Tap, you really should use only one thumb, or two if you aren't fast enough. You're more accurate using one thumb.

I am ranked third in the world at Tap Tap (Check all leaderboards) and the two guys ahead of me only use one thumb
