poor little guy is so skinny, and must be starving hungry, but even so, he's very cautious about taking the food. I'd be interested to know if he did finally take it. The sad thing is, foxes are poisoned in this way all over the world, never has an animal been so persecuted by humans as has the fox, but they will probably still be here long after we have destroyed ourselves.

OMG....I adore foxes and all the animals in the world, I wish I could save all of them. She is so curious and scared.

The only reason it was so scared to touch it, is because it smelled of human, if it didnt smell of human, then it would have taken it... next time you try this, try not to touch it with any fingers, or any parts of the body. Then you might be able to get better footage of a fox actually taking the food and eating it.

Yes I agree. You can see it smelling human on the pan. I think the pan is really throwing him off. Maybe not use the pan at all...I'm no expert or anything, I'm just guessing.

There's no doubt he's used to a persons scent and the look of metal. He's probably been hunted or trapped at least once before and is quite wary.

So sad that animals have to accomodate themselves so much just to avoid people. Man was supposed to be keepers and caretakers of all creatures.

Beautiful! And smart! Humans have been laying traps for foxes for hundreds of years. Poor guys.
