I am always against people with modded controllers. I always use the FAL and I have seen that the holographic sight is the best attatchment. It makes the gun accurate and it somehow adds extra stopping power. But I am a Xbox 360 guy and it seems you have a PS3. So the results may vary.

the FAL is my personal favorite, i can pretty nuch rapid fire wiyh it. but to call it a type of snippy is wrong cause the recoil with ACOG or thermal sight is bad. i found it works best with red dot sight, the holo sight is good but red dot acts like a laser pointer

The gun is junk. The one upside is its 1 shot headshot. It has really bad iron sights, low ammo, and a slow time to kill. You are better off with a SCAR-H or an AK47 or hell even a Tar-21.

at 4:10 only 2 shots hit him. FAL is a 2 shot kill. 1 shot kill at close range to the head. I boosted with it on Rust in splitscreen (don't ask I know). I have fall camo for it. Every Headshot was a 1 shot kill with red dot or holographic. FAL shotgun can snipe across Rust as well.

Buy a rapid fire controller ken you need it, your fingers dint work fast enough. You come across a nervy player who has a vice like grip on the controller. Relax be calm but remain focused and you will get your 25/30-5 kdr games and once you can do that the nukes in the bag.

from Lon range the FAL is 3 shots, but with Holographic Sight, it is 2 shots all ranges. Stopping Power doesnt affect either

I had quite a good experience with the FAL in my friend's PS3, but the problem is that I'm sometimes too slow. So basically I stuck with the FAL for a bit more to see if I got any good kills. Came up with 2 but no more. So I just stuck with a TAR 21 in the next match and got myself a nice Pavelow, AC 130 and in the end a nuke.

I use the FAL quite often, and I have to say that I used to use a silencer and Holographic/Red Dot (I switch it up often). However as of late I have noticed that the silencer has cut the power by alot, I am unable to counter snipe the spawn snipers on Rundown with the silencer anymore. The silencer does kill what little recoil the gun has making it easier to squeeze off more shots however it still takes me 2-3 bullets to kill a guy with or without it. My advice is aim for the solar plex or above

I've been using the fal recently. I've found that even when standing immediately behind some one with no stopping power or FMJ it is a two shot headshot. Also a set up I found that works really well is the ACOG sight with the grenade launcher.

Fal is a 1 kill headshot, 2 kill body shot, and 3-4 kill foot/leg shot on core. It's a one shot kill garuntee on hardcore no matter what unless your shooting through a wall then it's a 2 shot kill.

The FAL is a 2 shot kill from close-medium range with or without stopping power. Now, the FAL actually benefits from the Holographic sight in that in gets a slight damage boost. If paired with stopping power AND the holo. sight, this weapon is a 2-shot kill at any range, no matter what. Pending wall-bangs, etc. It becomes a one-shot kill when you hit the head from close range with this setup. I recommend Bling with Holo. and silencer and Stopping Power for a 2-shot kill ghost class.

The Fal is a strange gun, a few little tips about it:

The holographic sight - long story short - makes the gun always 2 shot kill with stopping power, with any other scope its 2-3 non-headshots.

If ur not using the holo sight, then stopping power 99% of the time has no effect on this gun. I'd go with hardline/CB in the meantime.

When u get the RDS, watch out with it, the bullet alignment is wrong, Blametruth's Weapon Guide shows this well.

Use bling pro with the fal. Use the shotgun attachment with either fmj/holographic sight. This is because the shitgun on the fal has twice the range of the model 1887 when they were really good. Quick to whip out. Use fmj because the shotgun also benefits from it. Or use the holographic sight because it increase long range damage

Use a holographic site, it increases the minimum damage ang means it will NEVER be more than a two shot kill, provided it's not a wallbang. Also, if you like the FAL try harcore, as it is 1 shot kill there. Good luck mate :D

the FAL is a good gun if you know how to use it, i would recommend for you, to get holographic sight, because it increases the damage and accuracy. for your perks, i recomend what you have on right now, but i would change steady aim for ninja, that is just my preference, it does not help the gun tho. with holographic at close/medium, it is a two shot kill with stopping power, 1 shot to the head, with anything else (eg. silencer), i would assume it would be 2-3 shots. dont silence it, all it does is ruin the high damage. holographic will slightly increase recoil but will increase damage, making it a 2/3 shot kill from any range. as long as it has stopping power it is a one shot kill headshot with any attachment, but ONLY at close range. do not expect to be able to snipe people with it, because it doesnt compare to a sniper in accuracy or damage.

A Few tips Ken..

Holographic site is great for FAL.

Silencer Probably not, the recoil is good enough, so silencer isn't a must have like AK-47.

Seeing as you don't usually have long killstreaks, maybe don't have claymores. They dissapear when you die so it is kind of pointless having them if you die every 1-4 kills.

FAL is one shot kill headshot with Stopping Power.

FMJ only helps long range shots. Cutting it down from 3-4 to 2 if your accurate.

I havent used the FAL yet but i'm guessing that it could be pretty good with FMJ, thermal, stopping power, and steady aim. The reason for steady aim is to have a good close range weapon, and then you can snipe using thermal.

dont use the FAL (pronounced FAIL). it is a 2-6 shot kill, depending on the distance. also, it is really difficult to get a good longshot with the FAL, unless u hav the thermal scope. then u might do som damage. FMJ doesnt increase the power, unless u r shooting trew objects to get kills, the bullet power is the same (same goes for every gun). the silencer will decrease the power and range.
