It is quite simple, both Syria/Iran and Israel/U.S have their own interests in Lebanon and to even allow them an inch in Lebanon is detrimental to Lebanon's future soverieghnty and stability. The problem with the Lebanese is they are week, they all choose the side that is beneficial to them disregarding what all the Lebanese need. The solution is to unite, build the army, build the economy and leave no more room in Lebanese history for more foreign invasion. We're a long way from it though.
