Wow! That was actually a moment in my life. The love that was lost and still in search of. Strange I Google her name in search and hope. Just looking for a connection, any connection or link that will relive a thought or moment of a time that left with a hope that it will come again. It was a long time ago, and it was heartbreaking. Your soliloquy just made me think of her. I don't know how to feel about this video; you struck a nerve right to my heart and the unanswered question, why?
Just beautiful. It's good to see that university education go to good use. (lol). Seriously, I truly enjoyed this video. It was well written and presented. Keep up the good work.
I'd just like to say that this is indeed an amazing work of literature/short cinema. Ok, yes it is a tad pretentious as you admited, but so what? Pretentiousness implies that your taking yourself too seriously and if you have this kind of talent, I'd say thats not the case. Keep it up, this is the kind of thing that you tube is made for! This perspective of the subconsious, I find fascinating! Hope to hear more work in this direction soon. Hope your not offended if i try it myself some time!
Abby, if you don't submit this to The New Yorker or The Paris Review, I'll be pissed. With a piece like this, I could get really rhapsodic with praise. I'll be reserved: It's an exceptional piece from an exciting and promising writer, offering an uncommon, vivid glimpse into that oft-elusive female psyche. But where's the symbolism? Kid-ding ;) 5 Stars and Favorited. I liked it better than Araby!
Nice. Eloquently written and beautifully preformed. A very touching piece, and it does what great written works are supposed to: to help better understand the writer as a person. Definitely 5 stars, and best if luck in the contest. I'll be entering myself, but I don't know if i can match it with the bar set as high as it is.
Good to see you're back from the abyss, hope to see more soon.
That video to me hit home as hard as a parent saying they are "disappointed". All the ranting, raving, crying, singing, whining rubbish that one does after it has gone doesn't even come close to this.
I dunno much about writing (I love reading though), but thanks for sharing this with us. Now we know a little bit more about you and your heart. Which is good of course!
It's good to get to know someone, even though we'll probably never meet you.
Keep it up, I love your story but keep posting funny videos too.
Wow, what a wonderful video. I now understand what TubeWrite was all about. I really want to know if you have a blog - where you write. I want to read your words, your other words.
I'm actually starting to put together a membership on Storywrite of my current short stories, but I want to revise a lot of my stuff before posting the link on YouTube
Wow, excellent! Great job of writing and then transforming it to video. You really captured the dilemma of the known/familiar relationship vs. the unexplored. Well done!
Noooow I know why I don't date.
Yup, that's it.

Beautiful story.
unrequired love mixed with an already existing relationship is dangerously close to adultery if pursued ;-)
