I remember oh so well "Young Love" by Tab Hunter which I believe topped the charts but this version of "Young Love" is a entirely different song with the same title. I'm Sorry was a big hit for Brenda Lee, Bobby Curola and later by John Denver but none of them sound alike, they are all different and again this is the case here with the Crests.  The Crest are no strangers to my ears but this # is...I listened & I I liked it! My fav by the Crests...I got many, so thx4 postin' this favorite.!

Im 50 yrs old so far to young to remember these tunes. Also from London England...But trust me now I listen them all...You are fantastic......Wish I could have seen you then..and now. Everyday of my life I do and shall sing one of your songs.

I saw Tommy and the Crest in the summer of 2010 here on Long Island, he is no Johnny Maestro. He also didn't know the lyrics of some songs. I know the name is The Crest, but this not the Crest, it is just in name. To me, The Crest was a speical group, I remember them when the songs were new.I heard there music when I was 9 years, because my brother play this great music all the time,when the Crest came on I paid attention. And became a fan thanks to WCBS-FM.

@Seriona Their two LP albums "The Crests Sing All Biggies" & "The Best of The Crests" (both from 1960), as well as many of their original 45rpm singles, are usually available on ebay. The songs are also available on compilation CDs, listed on ebay and on amazon.

Well, someone sure likes Tommy Mara (who does have a very good voice). Johnny Maestro singing this song is great, as is anything that Maestro sings.

Spring Hill Tommy Mara is good, but can't compare to the wonderful voice of Johnny Maestro. Tommy is now with the Legends of Doowop, Jimmy Gallagher left and Tommy replaced him, can't figure out why Tommy never had a recording hit.
