Drawing Cute anime girl

How did you get it to automatically fill in the correct lines? You skip how you did that. You go over with a brush on a new layer and everything looks messy, and then magically it becomes perfect. How?

@4everselenandemi011 go to the color pallete on lower left. right below the magnifying glass icon, there you see some color boxes, click on it :3 or try to watch my tutorial video its about hair coloring tutorial though. XD

you can try downloading not trial version on torrent. with keygens.

@4everselenandemi011 hmm well, i tried that problem before. but the color was red not gray. try to press "q" then color it. if it doesnt work. you can try show me some screen shots to see the problem.

When you color the skin, how do you remove the color outside of it?

when i do that, it will never be that nice and smooth as yours..

@Trafficzyzy actually i just erase the color outside. but i didnt record it bec. i wont have enough space to save the video. you can try using magic wand for faster solutions :3

But i draw manga at paper, then i scan it into photoshop and try to color it, but i fail at coloring.

i have a drawing tablet, but i can't make smooth lines and shit like that, i also fail in that. ^^

@Trafficzyzy do not discourage. you will surely improve. keep on practicing. you can try using pen tool for smooth lines. its hard to use at first, but surely you'll get use to it :3

@4everselenandemi011 well, it does cost money, but i borrowed my photoshop from my friend(so its free for me :3) you can download photoshop on torrents for free, but there are some virus infected files XD. so becareful on download

Wow, this is amazing! I use the same version of Photoshop as you and I wish I were half as good as you! Don't give up on anime this is seriously great! Could I ask a question though? Well, what is a good size for a drawing? And, do you use a tool for lineart or just freehand?

@chococat792 thanks. i mostly use 900 x 1100 size. in my opinion, the bigger the drawing size the quality will be better cos the drawing wont appear so pixelized. and the line art will be thinner.

in my opinion, its cleaner and better looking if you keep the lineart thinner as much as possible.

i use a tool in a different software. i use flash cs3 linetool cos its easy to use.

you can also use the pentool on photoshop but i dont feel comfortable using it XD

anyway, do you use your mouse or a wacom?

@pedsay i use them both, i only use mouse when making the lineart then wacom for the sketch and colouring

@chococat792 i prefer using line tool than freehand, cos the accuracy is better and i want the lineart thinner. if you use freehand you still have to straighten the line or cleaning up the rough edges. whereas line tool makes a clean smooth line in a shorttime.

but of course i use freehand for sketches or colouring ^^
