A CONTEMPORARY VERSION: The dog, cat and duck call their senator who sends the IRS to take the Hen's corn by force and give it to the dog, cat and duck. After all the dog, cat and duck represent 3 votes and the hen only 1! The Hen gets a lobbyist to reduce the amount of corn stolen by the IRS, the dog, cat and duck and their senator will proclaim 'corn cuts for the rich', demonize the Hen and proclaim how 'corn cuts' is 'giving' the Hen her own corn. What a twisted world we live in.
