  • This is the most amazing thing the Americans have ever done in my opinon, who would of thought that a person can land on the MOON!!!! Well done America, from The United Kingdom.

  • is incredible that you can think that really has reached the moon .... has nothing to do with patriotism that everyone has. It is a scientific issue. The Van Allen belt is still there and in that time was not enough technology to pass it ... In addition, why they stopped flights to the moon? Could have put a luxury hotel for millionaires and a McDonalds isnt it?

  • @Principenegro79

Stupid fuck shit reasoning it's scary that people like you can vote.

  • @Blahblobify and therein lies the reason why democracy is a farce. If the 1% thought for a moment that the majority were able to think clearly, that baby would be out with the bath water. Most people are just plain stoopid, at least as stoopid as this guy and his stoopid mates.

  • without a particle of dust or anything? uoh!! Its amazing in the moon all is solid like a ston?!!...

  • @Principenegro79

dust all over in the videos you dumbass

  • Americans might have launched rocket, but there's no direct evidence they've reached and landed moon. Left aside "not so much'' reliable rocket engines you guys have back then. It's not your fault you never been there, russians never been either, but claming you were - is.

  • @TheJustRussian please tell me you're joking. but for some reason i think you aren't. ....How sad, see what lies communism has taught you?

  • @TheJustRussian

I was at the launch, that rocket had too much power to be for fakery. Cry more about the "unreliable" engines. The F-1 and J-2 engines were just better than the Soviet ones.

  • @TheJustRussian

Odd your government didn't say it was fake back then...nor do they claim it now, but YOU know better because some youtube video says so.

Where did you get the idea the Saturn V was unreliable? Some other claim by a hoaxer you didn't bother to look into?

  • @TheJustRussian ummmm what other evidence do you want? Moon rocks aren't enough? Personal accounts aren't enough? video isn't enough? If you want evidence than build your own rocket and see for yourself. And also, you may think there isn't enough evidence for the landing but there is absolutely NO evidence that says it was a hoax. And the Saturn 5 is the most powerful rocket in the history of mankind. I don't think it was unreliable.

  • @TheJustRussian sour grapes? Just because your piece of shit, duct taped together rockets couldn't get to the moon doesn't mean ours couldn't. Christ, you guys barely had farming figured out by 1969. It's no wonder why Chernobyl happened, your engineers suck!

  • @TheJustRussian I'm sure glad idiots like you get to use American technology like youtube to spread your nonsense.

  • Such a hughes lie!!!! Hollywood do it again!! jejeje poor "amreicans"

  • @Principenegro79 shut the fuck up your country hasnt landed on the moon so suck my dick

  • @ch1ldpr3d3t0r ...perhaps but, you cowboys untill now believes that the man has arrived to the moon....JAJAJAJAJA and thats is a poor thing you now!! its like believes in Santa Claus, JAJAJAJA!!! very funny you country, all this power, all this money, all this ignorant, all this lies... poor man

  • @Principenegro79 i cant understand a word you wrote it makes no sense

  • @Principenegro79 cowboys? you know like 2% of Americans are cowboys. And what the fuck is JAJAJA?

  • @Principenegro79 shut the fuck up your country didnt land on the moon so suck my dick and learn how to spell

  • @Principenegro79

    Bullshit

  • @JamieSibert does your mom still believe in the moon hoax?

  • NASA MICKEY MOUSE APOLLO MISSIONS

    HOAX OF THE CENTURY

  • go , go, go,go GO,go ,go, go who the hell is yelling

  • @The1234cadillac

    All the various Flight Controllers.

  • @The1234cadillac

    All the various Flight Controllers.

  • USA This is one of the reasons we love our country!

  • @Wachatoey USA GOVERNMENT FAKE EVERYTHING

  • @DeadJesus100 You are right I never thought about that. I am going to check in the mirror to see if I have a reflection, maybe I am not really there!. Thanks for the info!

  • I like the narrator's voice and his accent;he is so scientific and seems so neutral and analythical

  • Where is setinel prime?

  • Buzz Aldrin can be heard in the background saying '30 seconds'.That is the amount of fuel left while Armstrong was manually flying the module

  • Spielberg shot the whole thing on a hollywood movie set..That's how he got the job for Jaws!!!

  • you shuold really block comments

  • there is a native american saying yrs before the landing of the moon. an elder predicted this, saying an eagle will land on the moon.of course he was laughed at by the white man. ..."The eagle has landed"

  • If you want to watch the full movie in Hi Def quality Go Here >> bit.ly\kfFuWR <<Hurry and Get it before the link expires

  • in other words FAKE !!!!!!!!!!

  • The moon's surface during the daytime is so hot that camera film would have melted.

No blast crater appeared from the landing

The launch rocket produced no visible flame.

The flag placed on the surface by the astronauts flapped despite there being no wind on the Moon.

  • Comment removed

  • @Jailbrokenification 1. and if they made a camera that could handle higher temperatures?

    2. I would hope not, that would have probably killed them, does a plane make an impact crater when it lands on ground? no, it doesn't hit the ground that hard. 3. There was no need for a flame that bright, when something is set in motion in space, it tends to stay in motion for a long time due to lack of air resistance, which also covers your 4th point

  • You are in error. 1. "moon's surface is so hot that camera film would have melted"

-- Nobody spread out the film on the lunar surface. It was in vacuum inside the camera.

    2. No blast crater was expected, the LM engine was throttled down and shut off.

    3. The fuel used has no visible flame. Like your car!

    4. The flag did not flap. It was moved while ít was erected. The flag pole was not "placed on the surface", it had to be driven into the lunar soil.

  • @Jailbrokenification There was no hot air to heat up the film, it was in vacuum. Vacuum has no temperature.

Landing engine was throttled down, some dust was kicked up.

The hypergolic fuels used produce no visible flame.

    Flag flapped only when touched.

  • The astronauts could not have survived the trip because of exposure to radiation

The photos were altered: the Crosshairs on some photos appear to be behind objects, rather than in front of them where they should be

The quality of the photographs is implausibly high.

There are no stars in any of the photos, and astronauts never report seeing any stars from the capsule windows.

Identical backgrounds in photos that are listed as taken miles apart.

  • There was no significant exposure to radiation, van Allen belt was .25 rem as Apollo spent 1 h there.

Crosshairs are so fine that they will disappear in front of very bright items.

All photos are at the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal, they are not all of implausibly high quality.

There are stars in Apollo 16 uv photos (ALSJ). Astronauts navigated by the stars, every star had a number in the computer. As the background is 50 miles away, photos taken "miles apart" will show the same background.

  • As a nation, we've lost confidence in ourselves. Our "can do" attitude has been picked clean by the infestation of blood sucking attorneys, mindless bureaucrats and spineless, selfserving, politicians.

  • Yeah ok. This was real, sure...

  • ZERO

  • We may be in a long recession, but shame on Obama for cancelling/disbanding many of the space programs. I also blame Obama and many of our recent past presidents for spending and wasting so much money the country didn't have. That basically killed all the cool national programs we had. We'll never get out of debt in our lifetimes and its a shame because this makes it likely that we won't return to the moon. I hope to see a moon landing in my lifetime, but it seems unlikely, at least for decades.

  • @ChevyCamaro33 and we gain what exactly from going to the moon? Seriously, it's a good thing to do in terms of general scientific knowledge, but there are far, far, far more pressing issues and demands on our resources. Seriously your desire to "see a moon landing" doesn't somehow trump spending on education, health care, military resources (especially while troops are deployed, even if they shouldn't be), public infrastructure, state deficits, etc. Seriously it's at the bottom of the list.

  • @jdlund You are far far far far wrong. Basic research will uncover NEW scientific facts.

The trip to Mars in 2030 is absolutely essential.

  • @BjornPalmen, I'm all for it if the resources are there. I am all for scientific research and development, but there are plenty of things that are frankly more "absolutely essential" that this country currently lacks the resources for. Science does not trump basic services that meet concrete needs. The 2030 trip to Mars is like a lot of things: it's awesome if we can afford it but there are things that have a much higher priority that have to be met before we can seek to afford such an act.

  • @jdlund I think we must agree to disagree. The 2030 trip to Mars will lead to developments that we cannot foresee now.

"this country currently lacks the resources"

Your reasoning would have stopped all progress in radioactivity and integrated circuits.

  • @BjornPalmen, that's simply not true, because we didn't lack the resources for said research at that time. This entire country is still in a huge fiscal crisis. We currently lack the resources to meet the needs for basic services in many states. Ergo we do not have the resources for space exploration at present. Hopefully that will change, and I will be glad to see it change, but the 2030 trip to Mars is no different than anything else, sure if we can afford to work towards that end.

  • @jdlund There is no huge fiscal crisis which could shut down all basic research.

Of course we have the resources for space exploration.

  • @BjornPalmen, basic research and space exploration are two different things. Either way, you apparently don't watch the news much. There is a significant fiscal crisis that can shut down most things and as long as both political sides are being as pig headed as they are lots of absolutely essential items, like scientific research funding, are threatened.

And again, if we can afford space exploration without sacrificing something more important, then fine I have no problem.

  • @jdlund basic research and space exploration are two different things

Well, the best basic research will come with space exploration. Anything can happen.

Yes, we can afford space exploration without sacrificing anything.

AAA >> AA+ is not a fiscal crisis.

  • @jdlund "if we can afford space exploration without sacrificing something more important, then fine I have no problem" well that is magnanimous of you! << NOT

Space exploration is the key to the future. "Something more important" is the key to disaster.

  • @BjornPalmen, Jesus are you still responding to my post? Let it go. Look I made my position clear, if we can afford it great, if not there are higher priorities. You clearly think space exploration is the highest priority, which is patently absurd, and you clearly have no clue what's happening in this country in terms of state and federal fiscal difficulties.

There are many keys to and methods for future progress beyond space exploration. Either way, move on and bug someone else about it.

  • @jdlund "There are many keys to and methods for future progress beyond space exploration."

Ok, tell me a key or a method if you think there are so many.

  • you would think after 42 years we would have gotten somewhere

  • @BankruptMonopoly "we would have gotten somewhere"

Dawn is orbiting Vesta as we speak, Jove is going to Jupiter (started last week).

The 135th mission to the space station landed last month (Atlantis).

Huyghens LANDED on Titan in 2004 and sent pictures of a dried out methane river and boulders nearby.

Cassini circled Saturn and Opportunity completed 30 km on Mars. There was a spaceprobe to Mercury and New Horizons will reach Pluto next year.

Then there were Enceladus' geysirs and Uranus' rings

  • @BjornPalmen I believe you missed the point my friend.

  • @BankruptMonopoly You said that you would think after 42 years we would have gotten somewhere.

And that is EXACTLY my point, the nasa probes have gotten to Vesta, Jupiter, the space station, Titan, Saturn, Mars, Mercury, Enceladus, Uranus...

We have gone to every planet in the solar system. So you are completely wrong. We have REALLY gotten somewhere. + of course the Voyagers and the Pioneers out of this solar system.

  • @BjornPalmen nasa probes have gone to every planet, not us.

  • @BankruptMonopoly The trip to Mars will be 7 months. The Mars Rover Opportunity is our standin. The trip to Titan was 7 years and no return possible, yet. New Horizons is on its ten years trip to Pluto. So it has been impractical to send astronauts. Now we are going to Jupiter, that's only five years one way.

Your demand that we should get somewhere presupposes manipulating time, maybe sending astronauts hibernating - there is no technique for that so far. But we have the ISS, a first step.

  • Stanley Kubrick i miss you!

  • who set up the camera that got the footage of Neil descending the ladder for "one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind"?

  • @oink1969 Camera attached to one of the LEM's legs

  • @oink1969= Watch From The Earth To The Moon miniseries. The episode with Neil Armstrong explains it all. Let me know, and I'll tell you where to find it.

  • @oink1969 The camera was preinstalled on the "MESA" on the LM:s leg. Neil Armstrong himself started it.

  • 5:12 gives me chills

  • If this is fake then I'm a dog.

  • ignorant people piss me off, how does some one fake the moon landing, you see the spacecraft launch into space right? where does it go... the moon dipshits, not some staged studio. try telling the millions upon millions of people who saw this live that its fake. thats like saying world war II didnt happened, or that the automobile was never invented, retards. just deal with it.

  • It's rare that one story is on the cover of every newspaper worldwide. And here's to Buzz Aldrin punching that moon hoaxer in the face.

  • shame on obama for canceling the constellation program. when will we ever go back to the moon?? kennedy would be rolling in his grave

  • @masterjedi89 We are in the midst of a recession. Not the time to do that.

  • 5:15 and 8:21Best moments!

  • 5:15 Best moment!

  • Giant steps are what we take, walking on da moooon.

  • this is so fake.

  • @motesc= And I am He-Man. the most powerful man in the Universe.

  • @motesc Oh god, here I'm watching this epic moment in history and feel proud of humanity and everything is great and wonderful, and then YOU come here and babble about "fake".

Can't you hoaxers just SHUT the HELL up?

  • epic quote : "the eagle has landed"

  • I hate it that Obama is cancelling Orion! We were supposed to go back to the moon by 2016!

  • we?

  • @NedandMac i know and i support Obama, it really pisses me off, but if you think about it we really need to help are countries issues before we make it back to the moon.

  • @NedandMac It isn't sure yet...

  • @webgeek111 That's good news

  • Sont ils vraiment aller sur la lune ?

  • @bryan5226 Oui Monsieur. Six fois!

  • asking why they havent put men back on the moon, given that technolgy has advanced is a bit like asking why is there not another band like the beatles when there is more music education in schools. maybe its because they really were more talented and smarter back then and had the bravery and to do it.

  • @grazer770 No, that's not it. We already had rockets built ready to go back to the moon until a few months ago when obama canceled the program. It is simply a matter of money and motivation. I guess from a public perspective the wars in iraq and afghanistan (already with a $700 billion budget) are more important than the human exploration of space and the survival of our species.

  • @tsb124 the real reason is there's no competition anymore.. with the collapse of soviet union everything about space exploration died... i so miss cold war.

  • i was the first man to stand on our kitten, does that count

  • the eagle has landed.... :O

  • They had balls of stainless steel!

  • im sorry im quite new to astronomy and space, but why hasn't NASA sent more men to the moon in rockets like this? Nowadays they are using shuttles which keep getting blown up. If they did it in 1969 shouldn't it be MUCH easier in 2010? Any Answers?

  • They went six times. These days it is more economical and safer to use unmanned probes for deep-space exploration.

The Shuttle failed twice. It is a re-usable space plane, which is markedly different from the Apollo rockets, which were used once each.

  • @asterix645 true my friend you would think it would be easier in 2010 to land on the moon. The shuttle program was never intended to go to the moon. it was only intended to be an orbiter. It could never land on the moon it is basically a reusable airpalne\ spacecraft!! You need specially designed spacecraft such as the l.e.m. for landing and taking off from the moon. The NASA Space shuttle or any other space craft in the world right now will not be able to land on the moon!!

  • @asterix645 back then there was this fierce competition between usa and soviet union over space exploration..

  • 5:10

    historical

  • a historical moment in history, swells me up with pride. I just wish Neil Armstrong said " Houston, Apollo 11 has landed" instead of

    "the eagle has landed"

  • why? that sounds crap

  • @guitarnashelter

The Eagle is their callsign, Apollo is the name of the program which took them to the moon. So why not ?

  • it lacks the poetic touch thats why

  • @asterix645 Actually it is "the Lunar Module of Apollo 11 has landed".

  • the only reson that we would colonize the moon is so we could go to Mars or just for the sake of colonizing another celestial body, not saying i think this is fake, just saying theres no point cause theres nothing on the moon except helium-3

  • @TheLaguzslayer Well, except for Helium 3 I do think the Moon would the a geologists' (selenologist?) heaven. Plus, adventurers and rich people will want to land there too, paving the way for cheaper tourism to the Moon, opening up a whole new market.

  • oh my god, if one more person says anything about the moon landing being fake, shut up and accept it. it obviously happened, cause otherwise it would just be pointless for them to do this entire excercise. not everything is a lie or deceitful, just seriously get over it and accept that it is real. jaysus.

  • China and Russia both agree that it wasnt faked and they would have done anything to prove that it was. They tracked the craft the whole way.

I think when your enemies both admit that you did something then you did.

  • holy fact that Moon mission was a fake:-) some questions for nasa's devoted followers:

  • you very dumb man, there were 6 succesfull missions that landed,to say that is fake is plain retarded, and you lack human pride,a festering heap of cow dung

  • so impressive human:-)) you see my questions, don't you?:-) it's simply -- you can ans for them;-)

  • what technologies was used to create lunar? module so compact & so functional, where those posibilities are now, why primitive russian space rocket Proton supports ISS instead of nasa's perfect tech:-)? why we cannot watch Moon surface in realtime with HD video?

  • @SarK0Y The ISS is supported by the US shuttle, the Russian Proton, the European ATV and the Japanese HTV, because it does not have a selfcontained life support system. And as for watching the moon in HD, well we don't have lots of satellites orbiting the Moon to enable anything like that.

  • @kablamo9999

i mean Proton, Sojuz make basic work to supply burdens. quite enough just one satellite to provide HDV.

  • @mariahandjulia69

actually, they had a lot to gain from faking the moon landings. They were in the middle of a Cold War and the space race was a tense moment. if America landed on the moon before Russia, It would show that they had superior technology to the Russians.

Idk whether it was faked or not but I feel sorry for the Europeans that worked on the project. The designers of the lunar were mostly European and then the Americans stuck their flag on the moon claiming they did it by themselves.

  • Mankinds greatest moment.

  • @1210Jazz

Given 14 billion years of cosmic evolution, hydrogen atoms can do some pretty awesome things.

  • if your foot is able to make a footprint like that think about the surface density, now why the apollo didnt make a huge cloud when landing or a big hole in the ground beneath it, on top of that, everything that is metal is shiny, shouldn't all the apollo be dusty?

Remember that we still used propulsion, that is a very very strong force.

  • "...why the apollo didnt make a huge cloud when landing..."

There was dust kicked up, but since there is no atmosphere for it to float in it immediately dropped back to the surface once it left the influence of the rocket plume. In a vaccum a speck of dust will fall at the same speed as a rock.

  • Anyone who believes it was faked is probably brain-dead and shouldn't be allowed out in public without being on a leash.

  • i'll appreciate very much, if you, brain-alive, ans for some my questions;-)

  • @fundiebasher= And don't forget the bicycle helmet. Wait, what's thepoint? Ha ha.

  • @fundiebasher

Probably you are brain death? ;P Landing on the moon with a pocket calculator….(?)…now you are not asking you anything you believe tv….YouTube…and all of these serious sources ;)

  • @tambores01 "pocket calculator"

Apollo Control in Houston had ONE ROOM of computers and was monitoring the flight.

  • i shot jfk and then fuckin hid on the moon for years, with a talking sponge called bob .i mss him he had the squarist pants

  • Back in the day when we had balls and let em swing

  • its completely fake, come on people wake up and more research. WE NEVER LANDED ON THE MOON AND WHEN? 1969 HAHAHA its been proven this moon lading was fake. Watch Dr.David Groves video and let me know if you think HUMAN LANDED on the moon.

  • artjaczer:

    Mikebagio,,, Take your medications.

  • Groves is unconvincing.

  • Go back to your Flat Earth Society forum and suck yer thumb

  • yeah, you're right: get real Moon mission at 1969 is nothing more than joke:-)

  • @mikebagio you stupid moron even the russians admitted the americans landed on moon! when your enemy admits you did it you fucking did it. period!

  • @rajithaify,,,can't u be polite and discuss things nicely like matured grown people u fucking trash fuck u, u started the shit so eat my shit now..

  • We never landed on the moon it was faked to trick the Russians

  • The Russians had the ability to track it and receive transmissions from the Moon. So just exactly how did we fool them?

  • @6599388 russians were so dumb they got tricked? moron

  • Man, i can't believe that in my life time i will be able to watch the Mars landing live on TV.

  • My grandfather went on the moon before Armstrong.

  • seriously?

  • Comment removed

  • Now we need to go back, establish a moonbase, go to Mars, land on mars, establish a marsbase, then fly to Europa or Titan!

  • well we would need to build a new spacecraft first, our shuttles are not built for anything further out than an earth orbit

  • My grandfather helped build the Apollos.

  • Extremely worthy cause. I bet he enjoyed his job.

  • Man seeing this footage sends shivers down my spine, its so awesome. Its incredible that we managed to send people to the Moon.

  • ese armstrong la cagada

  • `happy` 40 years!

  • Wonderful video. NASA ROCKS !!

  • "Tranqulity base here. The Eagle hast landed." What a great moment! This is one of the greatest moments of mankind.

  • NASA FTW

  • Excelente e histórica filmación.

¡ Felices 40 años de desafíos y esfuerzos, NASA !

  • Who is doing the narration?

  • Sounds like Martin Landau of Space: 1999 fame

  • Thanks! That was driving me crazy. I knew I recognized the voice I just couldn't place it with a name.

  • The original footage was shot July 20th, 1969.

  • if this is a serious question it's also a very depressing one

  • nothing. We don't care what stupid people think.

    <
