Healey was and always will be the real fuckin deal in good rockin blues tunes.Given everything this man went thru in his short life with all the suffering he had,we are blessed to have his music saved for eternity on sites like You-Tube.He was always in pain but never showed it when performing. It sucks when we lose the good ones way too early.makes me think of Stevie Ray,who we lost too soon also.Well,I reckon these 2 are jamming their ass off in heaven.Lucky are the angels
This reminds me of the last time I saw Jeff play.It was at the Alpine Music Amphitheater in Alpine Valley Wisc.It was the first night of two nights with Robert Cray,Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton.Tragically the second night is when Stevie Ray was killed in a helicopter crash after the second nights performance. The first night Jeff played as guest with Eric for Sunshine of Your Love. When it came time for the lead Eric went over to Jeff and let him know to take the solo.Jeff tore the place up
this man is a pure legend this film Road house is one of my favourite tracks..its hard to believe jim an patrick are both dead an due to cancer..R.I.P xx
he done a good job finding that seat after he stood up lol, but this man is a huge inpiration to me no matter what might come your way in life, nothing is impossible.. trying to find my way back to college baseball after losing my eye in a wreck
saw him in wolverhampton in late 90s he had phillip sayce with him playing aswell . never seen a strat whipped with a jack lead before fuckin brill r.i.p jeff
@jbassman666 just canada? im an Eric Clapton fan, and i freakin loooove what this guy does. in my opinion, best guitarist ever. if he can do that with no eye sight, than i think that he could quite possibly be unmatched

What a great voice! And he played the blues guitar about as good as anyone. And he was mostly blind wow.... RIP Jeff....
youtoober808 10 months ago
@youtoober808 I'd say better than most of other blues guitarists.

@youtoober808 Mostly blind???? With both eyeballs removed surgically at one year old due to retinasarcoma. I'd say he was way past "mostly".
8dakota6 7 months ago 2
@8dakota6 I had no idea. It makes him that much more special! Thought he had some sight because of the way he moved around.

he is an underrated blues rock guitarist who accidently played a Pepsi commercial!

Got to meet him afterwards too
