High-end?! Sorry but the P39-F are not in the high-end section! They are on the reference section, which is higher than the High-end one, the P37 yea, they are on the high-end but not the 39's
I heard these in person with the CD player I eventually ended up buying for my own system. These have immaculate sound...I was amazed at what they could do. They disappeared, and seemed to leave nothing on the table in the way of bass or treble extension.
I have the JBL L 890s and they are very very hard to beat for sound resolution and price. Two 8 in woofers polyplass, one 4 in midrange, one titanium dome tweeter, and one horn style supertweeter. The resolution is fantastic and very little distortion with a flat frequency response. I actually use the l 890s for all 7 channels.
the klipsch palladium top of the line I can bet they sound very well I had set of old klipsch they don!t make they .I think bd was 100 or 101 they suond was the best. Ithink the klipsch palladium would be the same class as them mage ufo
@hiphopapotomas they are actually $20,00 per pair now. if you want the whole system its $31,500 I could never afford it but i would love to hear it.lol
I know that there are speakers that may sound better than Klipsch, but i'll choose Klipsch anyday over another company simply because of the obsession to detail and the overall integrity of the company.
@r4m69 No you little clown,Best Buy does not sell Klipsch Palladium, only High-End audio shops. Best Buy sells mass market low end gear(perfect for YOU)
I have the Palladium and what you saw at best Buy is low end Klipsch speakers, not even close to the Palladium in SQ and build quality.
@bsod4u2 high-end , low-end whats the differance, they 're still klipshitttts haha. And , NO THANK YOU , you can have your palladiums ..... I will only listen to the best , BOWERS & WILKINS,
@r4m69 Bowers & Wilkins is not even close to the best you funny man. Try Wilson Audio, Magico , Kharma and Rockport . B&W is one of the better brands, little more.
@generatrix999 102dB with a 1W input (measured 1m away from the speaker),this is very efficient. These can belt out well over 120dB at listening position in a typical listening room with ease.
@generatrix999 More drivers usually means lower efficiency due to loss in the crossover. 102db with one watt for a loudspeaker with 5 drivers is excellent. 102db efficient doesn't mean that's as loud as they go...That's generally how loud they go with a 1 watt pure sine wave at a distance of 1 meter. Haven't seen specs, but I would imagine that's their sensitivity at 1khz, any higher or lower and the spl will vary considerably with a given power input.
remember Klipsch has always been very sensitive speakers because originally they were used with tube amplfiers which were usually 10 to 45 watts per channel. Also being horn loaded drivers tubes mellow them out whereas most (not all) SS amps make them too bright and "tinny" sounding. Have a pair of Chorus II with a Dynaco ST-70 for power. This speaker is almost unbearable with a SS amplifier so tubes it is. Cheers.
This is for kaisergrunt....horns make yur ears bleed? man dude your probably going deaf then, can you even hear this(wait a minute, here it comes) aaahhh! did you hear that? I farted. btw...Klipsch makes some badass speakers, even their smallest speakers are amazing. but each their own, i bet these speakers are no exception
I have no idea what these sound like but i DO own a pair of LaScalas and a pair of Hereseys . I also have a pair of RB61's but they arent even hooked up. The Lascalas and Hereseys are sound amazing ( at least in my opinion) sounds like live music. Love them
Nothing but a fancy Cornwall. NOT what old PWK would've considered a top shelf speaker. I think the specs are lies, no way the speaker is as efficient as claimed and has deep bass also claimed in that small a cabinet.
most likey its a horn loaded enclosure, thosedesigns always give high efficantcy..my eyes popped out too when i heard 102 db..none the less this klipsch shit is junk, the highs make your ears bleed, the bottom is far to prominent..overdesigned boxes that sound like junk.
huh?? get what right?? never made any mention of quantity of drivers or horns..i WILL tell you what is right, this is a shitty box and a shitty product, klipsch is for kids.
if you are defending a klipsch product....it would seem that you dont know home audio...
there are so many....the dream set would be LIVING VOICE AVATAR OBX-R's.but I would take anything from TOTEM,KEF,HARBETH,AVALON..could go on and on..horns make my ears bleed.
There are lots of companies better than Klipsch, I prefer my B&W's to any I've heard, BUT there are many worse speakers as well. horns can be sensitive to placement for sure but when they are well designed as most of the higher end Klipsch are and placed well in a treated room they can be as good or better than many high-end speakers utilizing other types of drive units. Lower end Klipsch generally aren't too good IMO, but it always comes down to preferences in music, volume, and amplification.
@nuclearbabyouknowit nah klipsch are pretty much where it's at dollar for dollar. WIth B&W, you're not jsut paying for the soun quality but for the cost of importing and the opportunity to feel fancy. As amazing as they sound, I can't help but feel that the dissonace caused by paying 5-10k for a pair almost forces you to perceive a much greater contrast between them and a more affordable pair of klipsches.
@pd251563 I've since gotten a pair of JBL L7s and played with Cornwalls (Crites-modded tweeters and x-overs), also a pair of Ohms, Magnepans, and enjoyed hearing some of the new ESS with Heil tweeters. I gotta agree with you. I do prefer my JBL's to the Cornwalls by far, but the Klipsch Cornwalls are GREAT speakers when modded. Unmodded they seem to sound a bit harsh and faded.
BTW I got my B&Ws for less than 400 bucks...two pairs of mint floorstanders. Don't add up the Klipsch/JBL/etc though.
Best speakers EVAR. I had to wait 2 months just to get the P39s. I would say they sound the best with my McIntosh amps but that's the only amp I have hooked it up to so far. I've always admired the sound of Klipsch because they reproduce the sound of an actual performance perfectly at concert level volume. It's them fuckin horns I tell you.
You got that right. I have LaScalas and Heresys and love them! I havent heard te Palladiums yet....Do you have any video/audio of them? would love to hear them..Thanks
@noodleninjaa you affordable 20 grand speaker are they better b&w and other brand like polk audio which really suck by the way even know they are cheap. Will kill bose
My Definitive Technology speakers would spank the hell out of these, and for a fraction of the price. Plus, they are rated the best speakers for under $25,000 each.
@Site4Animation really funny klipsch will crush them they actually this bulit from the ground up versus permade shit like definitive technology and it way greener
@Site4Animation definitive technology i just experience at best buy pretty good for cone speakers. Then i saw that will have high priced receivers to power this speakers. but for a hifi speaker to be over 100dB sens. is quite impressive.
kboy3141 10 months ago
@kboy3141 few PA speakers get that high even, if these things touch 102db sensitivity with those drivers and x-over...wow, that's insanely good.

@bsod4u2
102 db good, but not with 5 drivers, should be higher.
Isn't La Scala rated at 105 db with only a woofer and a tweeter?...and that's old technology.
I have KSM 2 monitors (pro line) and they're rated at 103 db with just a woofer and a tweeter.
More speakers means more sound, higher spl's
5 drivers and only 102 db... by Klipsch standards that's weak
generatrix999 1 year ago

Do some research.
