I remember the first time I played that game, was at Uncle Howies pizza in Redlands, Ca and TO THIS DAY (2011) the same arcade machine I played it on is still there and functional, just kinda beat up.
I always thought there should be a Cruis'n USA 2, with race tracks in the Colorado Rockies, the marshlands of Louisiana, the deserts of Monument Valley in Utah, the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, the forests of Minnesota, Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, the city of Houston, Texas (yes, I can picture a track for our 4th largest city), and Cape Cod, MA. There is more to the US than New York and L.A.

He played straight, and to this day remember a record I made that I've ever seen: 1:37:18 in Death Valley ... hint: just gives so much to lower the time with the porshe gray, and without touching anything, without leaving the track, and opening on every corner, then closing in the middle not to skid ... hehehe ... hugs!
me and my best fiend used to call this track "la freeway" because we lived in Montreal. So we thought it was like a mix of french(la) and english(freeway).
Except we were too stupid to realize its actually "L . A . Freeway" and not the french word "la"

my favorite level!!! my record of getting as many free races as I could was 7! and that was when I was in first grade!!!! now im 17 and if I wanted to I could beat the whole game on just 50 cents!!!
