When you are out of H-34's, you are out of helicopters as they used to say. A real workhorse for many years. The H-3 faithfully carried on this tradition.
Well not all helicopters are ugly. An AH-1Z Viper (formerly the AH-1W Super Cobra) is one bad ass looking helicopter and I would not want one of those things fully armed bearing down on me. Anyone who wouldn't run is either a bad ass himself or has tobacco stains in his underwear.
Yeh! and an MD600 looks like a dragonfly with a brain tumor, all choppers are pretty ugly, it just suits them I mean how impressive would an A64 look if it was all slinky and without angles & bumps?
Did you mean "crap" or did you really mean carp. Listen, the H-34 may not have been the best looking helicopter but it always got it's job done especially in Vietnam.
Good news people !!!. I just scored a Revell UH-34D USMC 1:48 scale for 130$ on ebay!!!
