also this doesnt look like fort dix and also mind you its now joint base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst this joint base has all services on it army navy airforce marines and even coast guard this training area could be for anything for one of those services and it could be a 1,000 different things
well urban warfare training means urban they could put any setting they want the point of it is to train for close combat like situations it doesnt mean that just cause we are in iraq or afghanistan that they have to build the setting like its over there nor those it mean martial law if its built like this however they build does not matter its just to train for close combat situations like you will find almost everyday in iraq no point in jumping to a conclusion that is not true
The site is partially blocked off, with restricted signs for miles before the site. Then the very last strip of road leading to the site has a "Road Closed" sign before it. It's fairly well hidden, we happened to stumble upon it while training military personnell one day.
As far as we know, it is yet to be used for training. The large apartment building has a complete elevator shaft the requires certain safety training to use.
it is not open to the public, it's a U.S. Army Post. You need to be military, a government civilian or enter the post with someone who has the credentials.

Thanks for getting footage of this. Its not long until the training is put to ill use. Can you estimate how often they train here?

Like a lifeless computer game. Its seems like an environment for conditioning soldiers to get used to urban warfare.

How did you get access to this facility? Is it open to the public?
