Great cornering! To all the "experts" out there.... Just ride...!!! Every rider has a style of his own. Some people can ride and turn a bike just like that without thinking apex, angles, geometry bla bla bla.
Anyway, I would prefer to see a video and not only stills with the sound of the cylinderheads!!!
hei wrong position and you should be crazy to do this with that bike! with a luod on front wheel?!?!?! what do you want to show?? that you're s........?You did very weel, for sure.
I take it you have gotten a GS, if you still have the R it'lll gather dust. I have a 91 Bumble Beemer R/100/GS and just bought a low milage R1100R. The R won't hold a candle to the handling and ride of the GS. I can eat the R up in the twistys, I'm in love with my GS, the R is just a mistress I ride now and then. The GS has 99K on it now and I ride it far more then the new to me R. with 6K on it. I wish I liked it but but I don't. numb , turns in crappy, no lean angle, it goes straight good.
I agree with a little wheel on the valve covers, or some slider plates. Beautiful bike! I really like this and think it would make a very fun and practical ride. Maybe some day... Right now i seem to be between this and the ktm superduke 990, that is a truly insane bike...
I've been watching this clip for months, just love the images and soundtrack. Love the way the bike's loaded up with gear. I'd like to know how fast he's actually going round the corners, This'd be my second bike after an 09 Speed Triple....
I've checked out your ride reports on ADVrider and I have to rescind my "poseur" comment (although it was in jest). Badass. I like your style. Enjoy your new GS!
at 1:05 i was expecting to see a crash... :) nice riding man!

Poseur. The bike wouldn't have to lean over so much if he would lift his ass out of the seat and put some weight on the inside peg.... :P
Nice ride! :D
