  • @bellah314 Actually, it can go either way. :)

  • Cute but the black piece is upside down :)

  • did you sew the chain on it also? :o

  • How long is the white shape thingy at 0:18 ? I think it's a pretty efficient size for a regular onigiri xD

  • @panda4ever12901 Think Jia made it palm-sized for hers, but you can make it as big or small as you want. :)

  • is it easy to do?

  • @sillypeach99 I just tried it out and ts pretty easy ... and mine was pretty succesful u should definetly try it out

  • @JassieLovesU thank you :)

  • cute cute cute.... ^ _ ^ thank you so much!

  • hello! could you pls tell me what did you use for draw the face? a simple marker?

  • Was this hard and did it take long?

  • @lovemuffin922 Simple sewing. Didn't take long. :)

  • i just made one ty!!

  • honto ni kawaii *0* thanks for this video!! <3

  • that's real cute. How durable are stitches at the edge of felt?

  • @KustomFu You don't have to use the same stitches Jia did. But they are durable enough. =)

  • kawaaiii <3_<3

  • Thats so weird........I changed my mind let me get my needle and thread.

  • just to cute !

  • Immature make one right Now :D

  • so how did you add the key chain or whatever thing you used on top of the Onigiri?

  • @PrincessEclair Just sew on a loop at the top and attach keychain to that.

  • @Evalrie oh cool thanks cause when i get the materials i definitely gonna try to make an Onigiri key chain ^.^

  • @Evalrie ok cool thanks

  • too cute to be truth ... :)

  • KAWAIIIII~

  • i wanna make my friend one for her birthday. ^-^

  • Cute!! Only if i had stuffing does anyone no wat i can use insted of stuffing

  • @sydthesquid1001 YOu can try cotton wool or cut up bits of leftover felt to stuff it (if the plushie is small)

  • @sydthesquid1001 cotton balls

  • @catzcantalk Cotton balls work quite well. What I do is tear them apart before stuffing the plushie. That way it gets down in every part. Also if you want it to stand on its own, I find putting a couple pennies inside before stuffing works quite well to give it just a little bit of weight.

  • @sydthesquid1001 cotton balls

  • What type of stitch did you use?

  • @xiKinky Blanket or overstitch works well. But really, anyway that holds the pieces together and is the easiest for you will work. =P

  • @twotalentedteenagers well.... i do have the time so why not :3

  • Where do youget the Stuffing???

  • KAWAII X3

  • what kind of ink or marker you drew on the onigiri?

  • @geensterrrx3 Permanent marker. Jia suggested fine Sharpie. But, if you plan to do it this 'lazy' way instead of sewing them. My experience with permanent pens is that they're NOT permanent and prone to run or a yellow discolour after a while. =(

  • @Evalrie Hi...Lol Would you sell one? like I will buy one... Join Etsy.com....Its for people who hand make stuff :)!

  • WOOOOW! I AM SUBSCRIBING!! :D

  • can u use other fabrics? i want the short but really soft kind they use in teddy bears/pushies but idk wat the name to buy it

  • @PianoMelody32 Um...fleece, velvet, or fur? You're welcome to use whatever fabrics to customise this ^^

  • how do you make it into a keychain? (just saying i'm on summer break right now and plan to make a kawaii onigiri army just from this video mwahaha *U*)

  • @thehappyfish8 Just sew in a loop at the top and attach the keychain to it. ^^

  • I love how this came out! What kind of stitch did you use to sew him, if you don't mind me asking? n_n

  • @RainbowPancaeks Jia used blanket stitch or over stitch to join the pieces.

  • Super duper cute!! Can you make me one but in a pillow size? you know like a regular pillow size like the ones u sleep with! :D

  • @TheLadygaga5050 It will actually be easier to make a bigger one than a smaller one. Just scale it up. Won't be too hard to make yourself. ^^

  • @Evalrie Thanks for that when i make one i'll post it! ^__^ ♥

  • whats name of this music?

  • can u please make me one cuz i cant buy fabric so pretty please with a cherry on top

  • @xxAriana312xx I would, but if you live overseas from Australia, you probably won't like the postage costs. =3

  • So... cute... need... to make!!!! Kawaii!!

  • i love your chanle!!! :))

  • You put the black felt upside down

  • @MSxSlushi Yeh, that's been said before. Think of it as a mistaken creative twist. =3

  • @MSxSlushi It's not upside down. The seaweed is placed either on the bottom OR on the top if you google onigiri pictures and just look at them you will find a lot of them have the seaweed on top too. It's all just personal preference.

  • kawaiii !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Aww this is as cute as :D xoxo

  • i'm gunna make a BIIIIG! one OwO

  • KAWAII thanks sis for the tuto ^o^

  • cuteness!! ^_^

  • where do you get the key holder thingy?

  • @iBloodyRabbit I think Jia had it lying around. Otherwise they're available from craft shops.

  • thats cute

  • ? I dont get it how can you flip the face over and sew it then flip it over again?

  • @TheGoodluckkitty yes, sew it and turn it inside out so it hides the stitches inside. Then overstitch the hole closed, or use the seaweed piece to cover it up. =)

  • @Evalrie Thanks sooo much!! I made one! well more like my mom made one she sewed it i just helped with the face and the patterns lol but its sooo cuute!!

  • Lol, its in the wrong way, usually the seaweed is on the wider part of the onigri.

  • @TheQueerGiraffe Lol, yes. Blame Jia. =3

  • Comment removed

  • @TheQueerGiraffe actually when onigiri's have faces the seaweed is at the top. It's correct. google, "cute onigiri you'll see.

  • @FloofyCookies Oh yeah. :o Makes sense.

  • Jap is racist. Change the title.

  • @24skylight Depends on the context. And this wasn't meant in a racist way. *shrugs* But to keep the peace...

  • @WangZiLover1 Yes, this was all hand sewn by Jia.

  • Did you whip-stitch while it was inside out, and then flip it over?

  • @YiaNyan9 Yep, Jia whipped-stitched it while inside out.

  • super cute! i bought felt today so im gonna try this! :D

  • tooo cute i just need to practice sewing and i think i can do this!!!!!!!!!!!

  • at 0:47, what part is that? the side or back?

  • @ffure1412 0:47 is the back. And yes, 0:38 has the strips positioned all around the sides.

  • at 0:38, are the strips positioned where at the sides?

  • can you do it with regular fabric? cuz i ran out of felt :(

  • @28angelkiss It's just bit a bit more squishy with normal fabric and might not be stiff enough to stand up like felt. But try it anyway. ^^

  • OMG!! it is adorable i want one it is cute as

  • @evalrie wat kind of sewing technique did u use because i wuz trying to figure this out by watching it over and over again everyday

  • @bubzssicute I don't think Jia used a sewing machine for this; it was handsewed. But I use a Brother XL-2200 or something....(sorry, not at home atm)

  • So cool! What kind of stitch did you use When sewing the white felt together?

  • This IS SOOO CUTE! :D

Is there anyway you can make it bigger?

& Where Did u Get Alll the Material! (:

  • soooo cute *-*

  • OMG is cute!!!!!!!!!!

    I love this onigiri *-*

  • thats so cute but i dont get how to do the eyes and the nose part. help me?

  • @sweetstrwberry1 I think Jia drew them on with marker pens. Lol...

  • Ahhh I love it! But where did you attach the key chain too??

  • @sequence013 Jia says to sew a loop of thread/ribbon on the top and attach the keychain to that.

  • @Evalrie Oh sweet! Thnx! x3

  • where do you get your felt?

  • @corinaluver Spotlight, Lincraft

What stitching techniques did you use?

Whenever i try to stitch one of the onigiri faces to the long white strip, it doesn't turn out like yours. ):

  • @TheJjangster Use a blanket stitch. Honestly, any stitch works coz u'll just end up turning it inside out.
