Obviously?? OK,, lets make a little wager on that.. what will you bet?..But i will admit that most china stuff is junk .. BTW i just won an auction on the 3/4in Earthquake , work good too..Ingersoll Titanium? is what $300..Good for pros.I would buy one if cheap enough ..At the race track we run the big 1.0in wheel nut guns right from the nitrogen bottle ,with 3/8in line psi reduced to maybe 170..We are just Hotrodders and Gearheads build stuff for fun..
If you had a compressor that actually put out some decent cfm, that impact would have alot more power. It's not the air pressure that matters, it's the flow of air (or cfm) that goes through it. Take your gun to a good garage and hook it to their air. You'll see what I mean. All those Chinese clones are junk, the Earthquake, the Thunder gun and all the others, just loud trash. If you are looking for an amazing impact, try a Snap-On IM-6100 or the Ingersoll 1000 ft/lbs Titanium. About $400 tho.
I'm not spending $400 for a impact wrench given I spent $400 for my car.. my tool does what I need it to do without any issues and that's good enough for me. It's not like I'm running a shop in my front yard.
@SubaruB4RSK i just bought a mac impact it was 456 with taxes and its only putting out about 650 fpt its good enought for pulling tires off a grader and putting them back on because we have to torq the wheel to 450 and if i dont hammer the impact for long the tires pretty much at 450
@poopdogsays .. I/2 Earthquake is a power house at 100psi ,, the 3/4 in is a wrist buster, but needs a 1/2 hose and 120+ psi.. Learn before you talk.. Better yet put some money behind your talk.. Reversing lever sucks IMO..
@JaxxBat You have obviously never used a "Decent" impact I see... The Chinese clones are reversed engineered, Ingersoll impacts made with the cheapest components available. Take that 120+ and 1/2 hose and hook an Ingersoll Titanium or the aforementioned Snap On IM6100 and see what happens... My Ingersoll Titanium is rated at 1000 pounds reverse at 90 psi... With 120+ and high flow 1/2 hose at 100cfm would put the torque at well over 1500!
@poopdogsays Its not Chinese, Its Taiwan, there's a difference between the two. I would buy America for the most part, but for someone starting out or weekend warrior you can't beat the price. You have to remember that IR makes stuff in Japan, US, Aswell as China and Mac/SO/Matco rebrands some of IR's guns. If I wasn't given a free MAC gun to start out, I would've probably bought one of these guns with a extended 2 year warranty and saved alot of cash over the trucks and not be in debt.
The snap on stuff dies just as fast. The chumps at my shop buy that over priced snap on crap every time the truck backs into the lot. Those guys are suckers for buying that over priced garbage...and they complain when their air tools die because the compressor is set at 115 psi. Idotos and their money...
@TOBORE8THMAN So the lot boy is talking shit about the techs huh? Maybe you should get back to washing that car and not worry about what the men are talking about, Porter...
If you purchased those units, the only thing that would end up in the trash is your money. The Earthquake will yank off anything you need. I've had my Earthquake for over 2 years and I beat the hell out of it. It's a great tool and I would have WASTED money on the snap-on stuff.

I've haven't found anything I could not take off yet with the 20% off I think it was like $74 or so. Really a great tool the hardest bolt I did was the pinch bolt for the ball joint it took about 7 seconds of holding the trigger down but it slowly started to come out.
