Thanks for making these works of I K Dairo available to us. Not all of us understand Yoruba, but I K Dairo music has the uniqueness of taking one to the spiritual realm of adoring the Universal God irrespective of ones religion or tongue with all joy. praises & thanksgiving to the Most High God.
This music is lovely and good all people I enjor it is just like (ONI-Suberu and his Orchestra record in the 60's people are demanding for records in the market. olawoye1@yahoo.com
This is music. It makes me nostalgia the more I listen to it. Nigerians, please let us go back to our root and it shall be well again. Too many atrocities these foreign things imbibed have brought killings, kidnapping, hatred and other ills. Let's back to our root for the sake of coming generation. Adieu I.K Dairo
WOW! My dad was an ibo man who loved I.K Dairo and hie genre of music (Dele Ojo, Dr Victor Olaiya and Tunde nightingale) i thank you so much. please let us all give this legends their dues. their music lives in each one of us who had the privilege of enjoying their music as we grew up, once again thank you.
Thanks very much, Planetolusola. I would have thought over the past years that many of us who witnessed the life and music of Sir I. K. Dairo would not be able to get to hear his evergreen old songs again. But thanks to the platform, Youtube and the good gestures of many like Planetolusola for uploading these wonderful songs. Daddy I.K. Dairo was a music legend that contributed immensely to the world of music.
@gbolagun much thanks for your comment. I.K. Dairo's contributions for bringing juju genre into the mainstream of African popular music will never be forgotten. His legacy will live forever.
kindly post another of his late 60s/early 70s small album titled 'E bami k'iyawo' if you have it. God bless you for the good work. i'll still ask for more if i remember. cheers.

The more we move away from our source the more confused we become as a people.

I wonder, is it possible to get the words to this song, or perhaps all the songs you put up here?
I hope this isn't asking for too much, just such a joy to have these songs up here.
