  • Where do you get so much money to buy so many models?

  • Cool model, I work for a local crane company we just s

pent the last week loading a 18000 It's a beast!!!

  • @chester1830 lucky! lol

  • you need the 31000 crain

  • whats the maxxer for

  • @jeremylee99100 a greater lifting capacity

  • @328DLCR ok

  • did you have to use a pin to attach the cab on or did you use the black screw to attach the cab

  • @The690ELC i used a pin, the screw was to big in diameter

  • Hey, great video and great model. What's your source on the models? I want to get a model of a Track Hoe -your Hitachi 450 or maybe a Cat 385.

  • are them crawler cranes hard to build?

  • @lilkilla5555 very easy

  • are hey hard to build

  • are they hard to build

  • is they hard to build

  • fransenhilde@versatel.nl

    are theys remote controlled?

  • Wow, $700 dollars but I have to say it well worth it to get it :D. I wish I can get that, it be nice to have in my room every time I look at the beast of a crane. So this crane model will not be made anymore?

  • @JrFlexing909 yeah they dont make them anymore but some are still available

  • @328DLCR ah, alright, it be due time till there be none to sell at all though. But I do want one someday it its still somewhat available.

  • good job you didn't left nothing for me to say

  • good job you didn't left nothing for me to say

  • good job didn't left nothing for me to say

  • You should make a skyscraper digout diorama with lots of your macnines

  • very nice and long review, now you just need the ext. kit haha. And i hate hook reeving too!

  • The door is EPIC :P

  • Whats the whip line for if i may ask?

  • @320dlCat its for stuff under 30 tons (?)

  • @328DLCR 24,000 lbs most of the time for rotation resistant, depending on the cable thats being used, but 30,000 lbs would be the most you'd see on a single part line without getting ridiculously huge cable

  • @slickknoggin i think the cable is 32mm and the hook is rated for 30t

  • @328DLCR Right, the hook and cable are always way stronger than needed, for times when dynamics of the load and shock loads are encountered. Like the breaking strength for 1 5/8" regular lay cable is over 250,000 lbs, but with safety factors you have to factor in, which is 3.5 to 1 for moving working cable (main and auxilliary line), your working strength decreases quite a bit. Anyways dude I'm not trying to dog on you or anything, just lettin you know, awesome videos and models by the way.

  • @slickknoggin yeah no problem, im glad that i found someone that knows what there talking about

  • @slickknoggin @slickknoggin yeah no problem, im glad that i found someone that knows what there talking about

  • Awesome model...how much weight will it actually lift?

  • @GinSinG1989 a folding chair

  • everything just gets dwarfed by this, but it is an incredible model

  • just watched the whole thing, waiting for my Dielco 16000, Grove GT540E, and ALL service Peterbilt, I will add videos when they get here.....i am also going to talk to Brandon about the 16000 to see if he knows any tips like he gave you and hopefully, in a few months, I am going to purchase the Lampson 18000

  • @jrshields2123 awesome! the 16000 is going to be so nice

  • nerds thats amazing only 700 dollars i bought 2 ps3's for that tool

  • @LittleJimmyrules Ok then, you bought 2 PS3's, what do you want a award? If you like PS3 when why are you commening on the video?

  • man that is the sickest crane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! l want one.

they are so much, if l get it for $300 is that a good price???

  • @134tommy134 thats a AMAZING price!

  • 14:11 the 1 linkage to 2 then back to 1 is for putting more sections on and you would buy more links for the linkage to add support for the extra length

  • @Landy2landsend so when there is more jib it would 1 into 2?

  • @328DLCR i did watch it all,:):), great reviews as always sal, i gots a volve front loader with a log grabber, forks, snowplow and a crane hook thing but its a little scruffy with paint chipping off, still it all works though

  • @Landy2landsend awesome!

  • @328DLCR oh, and i found out that if you use that stuff for athletes foot it is an awesome paint stripper

  • @Landy2landsend interesting

  • that is one of the coolest models ive ever seen! very detailed i think i might buy it the,the 4100 ringer, and the dragline!

  • wow - amazing videos! great crane!

  • @Slimdor thanks!

  • the rotating bed is what all the drums and rear mast is attached to, along with the maxer when its attached. the crawlers are attached to the carbody. awesome video though. I am a welder at the facility, and weld on a good portion of these cranes.

    you would love the 31000!

  • @elnino842 oh cool, i was just looking at the 18000 book to learn the parts, thanks letting me know man. did you weld on any 18000's that went to new york? I have videos of it working

  • @328DLCR I have welded on a good number of 18000 cranes, some of which im sure went to new york. I have also worked on the 31000 crane, matter of fact i was welding on it thursday. I have worked on most every crane we build, its an awesome job man.

  • @elnino842 awesome, i can not even imagine the 31000 upclose! is the luffer on it yet?

  • @328DLCR Nope, Don't even have it welded yet. They have started some of it, but we dont even have the boom top for the luffer welded yet. The 31000 is just a monster. we have quite a bit of the second one welded, but we still have a ways to go.

  • @elnino842 i cant wait to see the luffer atatched to it, when do you expect to have the 1st one shipped to the customer?

  • @328DLCR They want to be finished testing it in either december or january I believe. then it will be shipped of to the customer. It ships on 85 trucks. I have a few pics of the crane when they were getting ready to pick the max load with it. awesome stuff man. When they get the luffer on i will take more pics. I want to see it up as well. total boom length of 679 ft. should be impressive!

  • @elnino842 it must be amazing in person with that much boom on it

  • @328DLCR Its amazing just as it sits right now! I would love to buy a model of an 18000. I have a 555 and its cool, but i really want the 18000. it sells for $680, but i get a 40% discount. So i could get it for 408 plus tax, but i just cant justify that much money right now.

  • @elnino842 i have the blue version of the 555, 2 4100's and this. next i am getting the 16000, that is really awesome you get the discount, i would be buying left and right lol

  • @328DLCR That 16000 is an awesome looking crane, but I hate wleding on that one. the 16000 model actually stands taller than the 18000model.

  • @elnino842 I love the way it looks, new york crane has one over here with a luffer, i want the model so badly, just wish they came with a luffer for it

  • @328DLCR ya, i hear you on that.

  • the undercarrige is actually called the "carbody"

  • @elnino842 or rotating bed

  • haha, thanks for the compliments and shout outs, awesome review as always, it is very well worth every penny

  • @cranedude07 No problem, thanks!

  • Long review but awesome! That model is so big and awesome!

  • @rabbitsmeller400 lol yeah its not short, thanks!

  • awsome vid amazing model theres soo much detail
