@dasenuff. Atheism is the LACK of belief in a god (due to lack of evidence). I'll convert to any religion, just as soon as they provide evidence that their god exists. And I'm not being sarcastic - I mean that in the most literal sense. Man has created 1000's of gods (and other superstitions) over the centuries - all of which are fascinating in their own right, but of no more credibility than aslan from the chronicles of narnia.

@baobubs no...atheist say ..and it is on record in debate after debate and you tube vids here you can see as well..that they 'believe' that god does not exsist..yet they cant off proof...they made a claim... they started the debate by challenging those who believe to porve what they believe..now its your turn. its a simple question...provide proof to your belief that god does not exsist. simple isnt it...yup

@dasenuff. I'm well aware of the origins of santa and the easter bunny. I was referring to the magical versions that kids get told about. And if you find an atheist who says "there can't possibly be a god" you can ask them to prove it. All I'm saying is I don't believe in your god (for the same reasons you don't believe in aslan or sauron). Deal with it.

@dasenuff. You don't see the irony in that statement? Once again I am not saying "there can't be a god" -- I am saying I do NOT believe in the existence of any deity. I don't know how to simplify that any further. Ghosts are not real by default just because nobody can disprove them -- and neither is your god, whichever one you happen to believe in.

My goodness, you could get a PhD and win the nobel prize if its convincing enough. The fact is... I have more hard evidence for evolution than christians do for their god.
