if you could just take the m4 and put in a better gas tube to increase the fire rate, a sharper and more stable striker, and a reduced recoil system, then this would be unnecessary and a waste of work. but still very awesome

I think an HK-416 chambered in 6.8 Remington or 6.5 Grendel is the ideal weapon replacement for the US Army, either that or a gun like the SCAR-H chambered in 7.62 NATO. Or hell, maybe an AK-103 XD What do you all think?
