Halloween History Samhain

Good video. All correct, except Samhain was not known in Ireland as Oiche Shamna. Oiche Shamna is the modern-day translation for Halloween (it means 'night of the spirits' or something to that effect) while Samhain was an ancient Irish word used to describe the festival celebrating the summers end on Oct 31. Ironically, nowadays Samhain means 'November' in Irish.
