It's a shame. I had a Polish uncle who came to the UK in the fifties and was the hardest working man I've ever met - honest too. That was in Berkshire so not too far from you. Standards have certainly slipped since then. I guess the phrase "take care of yourself" has taken on new meaning and has never been so important.

Simple: Dont put anything relating to your identity in your garbage - shred it first. How do you know that your garbage bag rippers were Polish or immigrants or looking to find documents to steal your identity with? Perhaps they were just poor and looking for food? Are you suggesting that it's only foreign immigrants who are crooks? The prison population doesn't justify that claim and its patently untrue. Is this just your prejudice talking?

na, they were polish and looking for documents.

we have alot of trouble with them in london. they steal anything they can especially taking off manhole covers and ripping tens of metres of copper wire out the ground to sell for scrap and rendering everyones internet and phone non operational

as far as hungry goes not that either -

a friend sold a car recently and 2 polish blokes came to look at it. 2 hours later they returned with a cheque from the DSS for £1500 to buy it

oh, and i always do shred my paperwork due to the fact of the criminals now operating here and the percentage the crime rate has gone up since the EU members joined
