Nice display, you should make a large rocket with whistle sound during lift off to make the rocket interesting with the lift off as the one you made with crackling sound during lift off
Man I would have alot of questions for this guy... Like... does he use chlorate, pot perch, or AP for his colors. Whats the comp/length for his glitter delay. Could go on and on, truly a master.
The announcer was pretty terrible, lol. But nice rockets as usual, I would love to see some video of him constructing one of these (shot by Dave of course) just for curiosities sake.
WOW! fantastic footage! behind the scenes! I was there in person and this show was something I've never seen before.. speechless... Please come back next year!!
Hey dave i was just curious are shows using rockets more now because of a safety regulations? i notice this at my last firework show in my town. more rocket fireworks but they are still just as big as any mortar shell...
well impressive is a huge understatement of the amazing craftsmanship and dedication that have been put into making these rockets. I really wish i where able to see this in person.
The predecessor to our not so modern day pyrotechnic technology of mortar and shell, the rocket, amazing and beautiful in it's own right and certainly far from extinct with master craftsman like your friend Dave, keeping this passionate art form very alive.

Those, my friend, are called Hummers. One of the most unique and crowd pleasing effects out there. Your wtf is the normal response :)
