All of these comments are absolutely out of line. Apparently, this isn't the first time that something like this has happened with this coach. Matt is a really nice genuine guy and he wouldn't just want to sue someone out of spite or because of embarrassment. What the coach did to him was completely embarrassing! Not to mention completely out of line. And to be honest the only parents that should be concerned are the parents of the low lifes writing about how this guy should man up.

it wasnt even that bad. i saw the interview and the drill was defensive combat, getting in people space. and he was doing it wrong so he got in his face. and the kick was to tell him to get up cuz the drill is fast paced and you cant stall the line...

That boy should be removed from the basketball team and any other sports! What happens if another player runs into him, will he sue them too! Shame on the boy and the parents!

Bot line is this. Coach was wrong for going overboard, but come on Greg, this dude really got hit that hard to the ground by a 60yo coach? This dude realizes that basketball is not going to be his thing and is now looking for a payout from the school. That wasn't a kick, that was a nudge telling his faggot ass to get up off the ground.They should put a sports bra on dude and put him on the girls team. Oh and you forgot to mention that he actually went to a few practices after this incident.

The football coach at my high school would kick his players in the behind and slap them. He even did the same to his son at another school that he coached at. But no matter how mean and brutal he was on the field to his son, you did not cut him down in front of his son. If you did, look out. Remember, that was his father first.

I'm a mom and I would have been PISSED the F off if he had did that to my son! The "so your got blood on you, good" comment was really uncalled for.
