My wife and I visited Prague just after their terrible flooding. We were impressed both by the beauty of the City and surroundings and by the bravery of the people. We stayed in St Wenceslas Square. The Christmas Market was just beginning.

great idea. tomorrow im gonna make a small trip with my friends pierre and carol; i wish wz could go to amsterdan, but perhaps its too much for a one day trip; so its more likely that we will just go to brugge. sunday ill take the firs train to paris. btw... im doing nothing this night... my frinds are out to a party from pierres work.

i wish we could use these type of lights on home christmas trees (to have a smaller version of it). It didn't look that blue in the video but a lot of the lights were actually bluish

i spend christmas in denzlingen, which is close to freiburg, weve gone there to the central market and the video u just made is reminding me of that market.

i think you deffinately should. I used to live here for 10 years and theres something new to discover every single day. How long did you stay for when you visited?

I stayed for 8 days in the 'Hotel Opera' near the Hilton hotel. One of the best vacations ever. Prague is so beautiful. I loved the small alleys with antique shops in them packed to the ceiling with all sorts of weird stuff. Oh that's heaven for me. ^___^

That dripping Christmas tree was amazing, I've never seen that effect before, certainly was unique. What were they rolling on those spindles looked like toffy or something. Certainly was an inviting scene. Over in North America everything is so commercialized and sanitized, its lost all it charm. Now I truly know the meaning of old world charm.

yup and the good thing about it was that it stayed open until the 31.12 so I could visit it (just for me lol). German Christmas Markets close around the 23-24 the bamberg one was nothing special. They sell sausages waffles and gluehwine
